I've been a loyal customer for years. I've never had a bad experience ! The oxtails & greens are my favorites . The fried pickles & sauce are also great. TRY IT!

Where do I start, so firstly they were almost 30 minutes late, after 30 orders they were already running out of food, and then to top that all off it took almost 2 and a half hours to get out food..... so I kept high hopes maybe the quality is worth the wait??? I got a catfish poboy, fried pickles, potato salad. Upon first glance the bun was full of food! It looked great! You maybe get a single pickle worth of deep fried pickles and a half scoop of potato salad. I took a bite of the sandwich and was immediately struck with bad fish taste, so I tore off a bit of fish from the back and you know when your body is like ya don't eat another bite, that's what I got, you immediately got a pungent fish smell and taste, at this point I stopped eating it. The fried pickles were old and cold so you can tell nothing is made fresh to order, they use the same breading and frier as the fish so all you taste is old fish. The potato salad is from a store most likely sams club. Never got to try the Mac n cheese as they were out by the 30th order. My coworker got the collard greens which were pretty good! 2 hrs for this, 2hrs.

Is there a food truck anywhere with as likable a name as 'We In The Kitchen'? This time of year they're open Friday, Saturday, and Sundays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and then on the other days it's 'We In The Living Room', as they kick back on the sofa for a well-deserved break. The popular order is the plate, which comes with a meat (often it's rib tips, wings, brisket, catfish, links, or oxtails) and two home made sides (potato salad, mac & cheese, collard greens, baked beans, fries, or candied yams). I got the two meat plate with wings and rib tips, collard greens and mac. Everything tasted great - ribs are tender and wings are fried with a batter that makes the crust craggy. Mac & cheese is superior to others, the gooey cheese way better than that runny Cheez Whiz-looking crud that some places offer. Nutritious greens that aren't bitter tasting are my preference and these were just right. Walking up to a food truck, I won't hesitate to make a u-turn if it looks nasty and unbathed. "Be right back...forgot my wallet," I'll say, before slinking away into the night. This particular truck looks well kept and gives the diner confidence that the business has its act together. Proprietor Sarah has a cool, mellow vibe about her and takes pride in her cooking, as she should. Wearing gloves when handling the food is always nice to see too. The truck travels to different locations and caters, but can often be found at 1606 S. Commerce Street near the Arts District and close to Stratosphere. Hours may change to accommodate this beastly 115 degree weather, so check online. Bottom line? As long as they in the kitchen, we in heaven!

You can bring your drink with you on the side where the food is. It is very easy to order your food on the kiosk. My family & I ordered multiple things and spent about $100. First, I tried the bbq chicken which was delicious , great flavor and the sauce is LIT! The ribs were tender and not fatty at all. Oxtails, I'd give 7/10. As for the sides, the yams were my favorite, they weren't too sweet. The greens were OK, the potato salad was my Least favorite. It had a tangy taste, not how I prefer MY potato salad. The Mac and cheese was disappointing but I did like the texture & the noodles weren't overcooked. Mr Dane hooked us up with the oxtails and cornbread and we greatly appreciated it. The atmosphere was great & it was like we met Dane before. Overall, I would give this place 3.5 stars , I think if the sides improved this place would be even more LIT! Being that Mr Dane had absolutely NO HELP & was still able to provide excellent service, based on that, I will be back.

The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went. While it adds a fun, energetic backyard vibe, it can get incredibly loud and makes chatting with friends difficult, so you may want to bring ear protection or plan your arrival time accordingly.

The fried pickles are always good but what surprised us was the rattlesnake bites. It was fried cheese balls that had some jalapeño in each bite. It was very good. For my meal, I ordered a full rack of ribs with a cup of chili and rice as my two sides. The rice was not very good. It was dry and the flavor was off. The chili was good, I enjoyed it. My rack of ribs were very enjoyable. The meat was super tender and took no effort to come off the bone. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with corn and fries as his sides. He enjoyed his meal as well. Our only complaint about the service was we felt our waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Seemed like she was distracted during our interactions with her. Looking around while eating a bun I found lots of very fun decor. Appetizers were very good. Nice salty fried pickles with a good dill bite cooled nicely in a good ranch dip. The rattlesnake bites were nicely fried balls of cheese with some jalapeño bits that gave them a nice spice. I had the chicken fried chicken entree with steak fries and corn. My friend got a rack of ribs. I had the cream gravy on my chicken and a side order of more cream gravy. All of my dishes were very good. Yet the standout was the cream gravy. A nice silky white gravy that was such a nice smooth consistency. And the flavor was amazing. Nice and peppery with the right amount of salt. Dipping my very well cooked fries into the side of gravy was amazing. I loved that great potato and gravy combo coming together. The one thing that seemed off was our server. She seemed like she had already checked out. When asked questions she would quickly come up with a blank look before answering. It just seemed like her heart was not into it when we were there.
