    Lunch!!

Bought the Pit master special and it didn't disappoint . The food is amazing here and very flavorful . Service is excellent and the loved how it's decorated . A true hidden gem and a must try !!

driest pulled pork I've ever seen, and unfortunately tasted.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! All positive reviews are PAID FOR by the owner. No one who's paid for this "food" would mutter anything positive to say about this joint otherwise. The 'meats' are drier than the Mojave desert, absolutely flavorless, under-cooked garbage the what they're calling brisket and pulled pork is literal table shavings of dry dog food. I tossed it all in the trash. Microwaved "baked" potato, microwaved mac&cheese, microwaved meats. I mean seriously? I couldn't give even donate this food to a homeless person because THEY DON'T HAVE THE HEALTH INSURANCE TO DEAL WITH WHATEVER COMES NEXT! Additionally, 2-liter sprite that was ordered was past its sell-by date, very cool! The only smoke these guys are blowing is up their own out-holes.

    3 Meat Combo & 1 Sides

The service was not the best. The guy taking my order couldn't even tell me what was good on the menu, which is a bad sign already. The meat was over cooked, dry and has no seasoning on it. Only 2 stars because it is edible and not burnt, but that's literally the only way this food could be worse. Nothing about this meat tasted like Texas, and they need to take that out of the name. Max n cheese was not good, baked beans were okay. Their bbq sauce was also watery and lacked flavor. I would skip this spot and save your money. I'm mad I spent mine.

I'm sorry but this is not it don't do Texas this way this is not Texas bbq at out ribs over cooked taste the dirty smoke on the dried out chicken and the hot links remind me of a slim Jim ...... and I even gave them a try after showing up on Wednesday with a sign on the door saying it was closed till Thursday

The place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let fool you. The food was excellent and the gentleman serving us was very friendly. We got the 3 meat Pit Master special that came with beans and we also ordered a side of Cole slaw. The side were much larger than most places as well. They had cute signs everywhere and picnic tables and played fantastic Blues music. We will definitely be back here

    4/5 stars potato salad

Overall experience with food 2/5 stars and customer service 4/5 stars. Small/cozy restaurant in a shopping center. Lots of parking and seating inside the establishment. The gentleman behind the counter owned the restaurant and he was nice and explain some highlights on the menu such as the ribs and brisket. We went with the #19 which is the 3 meat combo and 1 side. We were a bit disappointed because you couldn't double the meat choice, mac and cheese was not part of the side options, you have to order mac and cheese separate, and for a platter you only get one side. But we ended up getting to additional sides so we could have everything we wanted. 4/5 stars - The brisket was tender good ratio of lean meat and parts of fat. 3/5 stars St. Louis Ribs - they were tender but w/out the bbq sauce they were pretty bland. 3/5 stars rib tips - same as the req ribs tender but w/out the bbq sauce they were bland, and barely any meat on them. 4/5 stars - Regular BBQ sauce - great flavor and seasoning 4/5 stars - Spicy BBQ sauce - great flavor and seasoning and good spice level. 1/5 stars - mac n cheese another bland item and the cheese was clumpy. 1/5 stars - yams there was no texture to it just seemed like mashed potatoes. They was flavor but all you tasted was sweetness from the marshmallow. 4/5 potato salad - had good flavor no major complaints on this one but it was a bit too sweet for potato salad I really wanted to love the place, I didn't want to write this review but again just my opinion.

Wow!!! Who knew this little gem appeared in this small tucked away corner?!?! The decor is ALL AMERICAN The BRISKET melts in your mouth - we had the mild sauce which was DELICIOUS! The POTATO SALAD is just the perfect blend of flavors and creamy goodness The GREEN BEANS are cooked with garlic and broth and an easy way to get in your veggies. The SERVICE was friendly and the owner has a great energy. We CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK! Blessings to this new business

We came here for lunch after seeing a great review on their brisket on Nextdoor. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with the aroma of BBQ which made our mouths water. The menu is on the wall. We ordered the brisket and the triple meat (brisket, pulled pork, and hot link). These are actually sandwiches. The sides we chose were French fries and greens. The moist brisket was very good, hot link was spicy and pulled pork was chopped. The fries could have been a little crispier for us. The greens were good and garlicky. The spicy BBQ sauce was Amazing! Inside is picnic table seating with two TV's. The restaurant really got busy after we arrived. The staff were nice. I want to come back and try the gumbo and Cajun catfish.

Good local Restaurant decent size menu food is seasoned pretty well I would come here again. A+

Good sized menu. Lots of sides.

The price for the amount of food was great. Another highlight was the friendly service. I asked for the spicy sauce for my meat, I wish it was a little more spicy and tangy, but other than that, I was satisfied.

    Cheramie T.

I ordered bbq rib tips to go. I ordered for 2 people so I ordered us each a lb. A lb is a lot so me and my husband could have shared the rib tips and still would have had some left over. The sides were unremarkable--I ordered red beans and rice, baked beans and hush puppies. The two biggest things for me is that bbq should be well seasoned so that you don't have to use bbq sauce on it. The ribs were tender but bland. This goes for the sides as well. The flavor was lacking for me. I would try them again though as maybe u got a batch of rib tips that just weren't well seasoned.

We were surprise how long it took to get our food ( over 1/2 hour). The good- the brisket was super good. The cheddar was solid. the best part were the sides the Mac and cheese was good, but the green beans were the best part of the meal. The bad. The spare ribs were over cooked and super dry. The Beed rib was 2/3 fat and gristle. We showed one of the staff and he came back with another piece that was a little better... but said the fat to meat ration is Normal for beed ribs. The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went. While it adds a fun, energetic backyard vibe, it can get incredibly loud and makes chatting with friends difficult, so you may want to bring ear protection or plan your arrival time accordingly.

There was a review a few days ago talking about how the restrooms were disgusting, I did not find that to be the case during my visit, everything was clean and well maintained in the restaurant and the restrooms. The food itself was alright, we ordered the 3 meat combo with pulled pork, brisket burnt ends, jalapeno sausage with mac n cheese and potato salad. The pulled pork was extremely dry and difficult to enjoy without sauce (which was good). The brisket burnt ends which are a $4 up charge, had a good bark and flavor, but were also pretty dry and benefited from sauce, which you can see both in the attached photos. The jalapeno sausage was my least favorite, something about it felt generic almost like i've had the same exact thing elsewhere. The mac n cheese was pretty good, and the potato salad was also good in a very classic way. Overall, its worth stopping by and giving it a shot, especially if you're on this side of town and want barbecue because there is not many options. If the meat was less dry it would have definitely gotten 5 stars, which may be the case normally, but was not during our visit.
