Took forever just to order, and the waitress didn't come back at all until after we already got our food. On top of that, staff were loud, cussing, and just acting unprofessional. We placed an online order at 4:30 and it stated to head to the restaurant for pick up at 4:51. We arrived at the restaurant at 5pm and went directly to the to-go pick up order area. We checked in and the cashier told us our order wasn't ready yet. We didn't receive any additional information regarding how long it would take and proceeded to sit down and wait. Good bbq. I have tried both locations for take out, we had the platter and there was not enough brisket. During the outbreak I went and they did not give, offer, or put sauce in the bag we had dry meat sandwiches that was not impressive for a first time guest. I've had Famous Dave's at its best and at its worst and honestly, it's been a mixed bag over the years. One thing that never changes though, the cornbread muffins. Those are the real champs here. Sweet, soft, and always on point. It's not all bad, the service is consistently good, and the staff usually keeps things moving. But the ribs this time were overcooked, dry, and not what you expect from a spot known for barbecue. Well placed an order a little after 5 pm for 6 pm pick up. Should have know when I got there, there would be a problem. Several others were waiting for orders. One lady even said her app said her order was ready. The guy behind the counter said the app is not right. At 6:12 my order came out, the other lady was still waiting. The food was delicious as usual. BUT, for what you pay you are not getting a fair deal. Sad to see they are sticking with pandemic prices. Not for me!!! DO NOT ignore your customer when they ask a manager to check on their order and then disappear. This was our first time dining here, and unfortunately the service really ruined the experience. Macy was the one who seated us and also our server. It took her about 15 minutes just to take our order, and then another 15 minutes for the food to arrive and this was when the restaurant was nearly empty, with only two other parties there. During that same time, the man sitting next to us even went looking for her because he had been waiting a long time for his check as well. Seeing another guest have to track her down while we were already waiting made the situation even more frustrating. The lack of attentiveness during our visit was shocking, especially for a first-time experience. We didn't see Macy at all until the very end, when she finally offered water, and we had to ask for the check ourselves. This was my first time ever eating from famous Dave's. I did a takeout order, and got the two meat combo. Barbecue pulled chicken and St. Louis style spareribs. And coleslaw for the side. I give the pulled chicken 8/10. Better than fast food, but not the best. I give the ribs 6/10. Not the worst, but nowhere near the best I've had by a landslide. The coleslaw I give a 2/10. Coleslaw is always hit or miss with me, but when it's good, it's one of my favorite sides. I would never order this again. The service I give 10/10. Angel did my takeout order and she was lovely. No part of this review is a dig on customer service -- that part was excellent. All in all, I don't think I'll come back. Other than the fact that the food was less than satisfactory, everything shown in this photograph cost over $17. Too much money for too little and not enough quality. read more

I would not recommend picking up food here during holidays/special events. This is the 2nd time I've done a pick up order during a special event/holiday and I've always had to wait over 30 mins past my pick up time. They also will not even say sorry for the delay or anything. First things first, every time we have eaten at a Famous Dave especially this location the service has been wonderful, friendly, and attentative. Now the food,we have eaten at many Famous Dave's locations to include this location with five or more visits. The food has always been great and tasty, we have brought family and friends to frequent this location, and everyone had a wonderful meal. On March 30th of this year we ordered the All American BBQ. We did not have the chicken and chose the brisket, and extra ribs. On this day we received our food eye appeal was there and the garbage lid was packed and everything hot! We ate the brisket it was dry and the ribs didn't have any hint whatsoever of having been near a grill or pit smoked. As a matter of fact the brisket and the ribs tasted like they came out of a conventional oven. The ribs were good the disappointment was, they did not taste like a backyard BBQ. Famous Dave's in times past has had some real good BBQ meat(s). The disappointment is, this food while plenty was not prepared according to previous visits. Not sure about another visit we payed over $100 for this meal and we were not happy with the brisket or the ribs. The sides were delicious as always. read more
