I don't recommend this place to anyone! Especially Chloe! She is so rude and completely rushed me to get to the next person. She did not say one word the entire time she was doing my full set (which took about 30 min). Before she cut the nail I asked if It would be shorter by the time she filed it down.. in a rude tone/one worded answer she said no... so ok.. cut a little more I said. By the time she was done my nails were so fucking short, uneven and ugly, she completely rushed me and could care less if I was happy or not. Love the way Chloe does nails I was ready to commit to this place after she did my ombré pink and white so bomb! But then when I went in for a fill I got Tuan. He was okay at first but become more and more sarcastic. Chloe did my nails with nude colored powder and Tuan noted they were nude and then accidentally put some light pink powder acrylic. I told him I don't think it's the same color but that's okay because I was curious to see how light pink looked anyways. He sarcastically said well they look the same to me. Which lets me know he does not have a trained eye for color and does not know how to talk to clients. Everything was ok, I even complimented the way he did the shape but it was clear that Brian was coaching him through everything and he was an amateur. Everything went south when I asked for a special top coat to keep the white color from turning yellow. Tuan just caked it on and my nails came out SUPER bumpy. I can tell he noticed because he kept feeling my nails over and over again and even asked brian what to do about them Brian told him not to file it and just let it be, not knowing I also understand their language. After that he tried to sweep it under the rug and processed my payment. What was so upsetting about that experience is I trusted them, paid, tipped well and walked out and they let me walk out like that, charging me professional price for an amateur to do my nails. Sure enough, the special coating started chipping off a day later. I decided to let it go but I got curious to see if anyone had a similar experience on Yelp and of course there's several reviews about how bad he does nails and I saw a review that he only works there because him and Brian are friends. Even more upsetting is the way Brian handles the negative comments on here, he even responds to people saying basically if they don't like the way he does business, go to a cheaper shop in the hood. First of all thats where Tuan should be working based on his work so take your own advice and don't have customers pay full price for Tuan to do nails. Second, that's comes off a bit racist/classist as just because a business is not at a prime location does not necessarily mean the work is not quality. Ironically when I first came there was a client that called Brian racist and at first I joked with Brian about it but now I see what they mean. And really why would you say that to the client that they should go to a cheaper shop in the hood? I'm a manager of a high-volume luxury cosmetic business, there's no way I can do that, it's beyond unprofessional. To summarize, hope you get Chloe. Sucks if you get Tuan. Brians customer service needs work. Check out Anna K's review of how they remove the 1 star reviews in order to get to 5 stars. If they remove mine I will simply repost :) If you're unsatisfied, hit up Divas Nails and ask for Mimi. I have been here two times to get fills and I loved the outcome both times. Seriously LOVED how my nails look. I felt like the people that did my nails both times took there time and were super detail oriented with it. They are all really nice and have good service. The only thing that I have to complain about is the pedicure :( I got my first pedicure with them the second time I went. The pedicure felt extremely fast and I think the girl cut my toe nail or skin too deep. I woke up and had a hard time when I walked because it hurt, so decided to go to the urgent care today just to prevent an infection or something since I'm leaving to go on vacation in a few days. First time here and called 20 mins. ahead and they said to come by. Trinh (sp?) gave me a pedicure and did an excellent job in all areas. I like that they have screens with music videos (Utube playlist she said) and it was easy parking right in front. A lady was getting a mani/ped with lots of stones and sparkle and it appeared they are known for these things. I was so excited to get my nails done at this place I've been following them for a while now on Instagram & I was so amazed at how trendy they are they really do amazing art !! I live in Azusa & I was willing to drive over an hour for some bomb nails ... I had an appt they took me in right away & everyone was really friendly & welcoming for sure.
