We waited for 30minutes on Saturday Valentine's Day. And had a glass of wine. I like that there's a place we can just have a drink of wine to stop by. We had a Savanion blanc and it was ok.

    Balsamic vinegar tasting

I came in just looking for a bottle of balsamic vinegar to cook with and ended up having such a fun and unexpected experience. One of the staff members mentioned they had a variety of infused balsamic vinegars and kindly offered me a tasting. She brought out some bread and eight different flavors for me to try. everything from jalapeño to elderberry to raspberry basil. It was honestly such a cute moment. I felt like I was at a little tasting flight, but make it vinegar. I ended up going home with the white raspberry balsamic and zero regrets. Everyone was really friendly and attentive without being pushy. I also ordered a sandwich and chips while I was there and it was genuinely delicious!! Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. My only complaint is the sandwich was a little small for the price. I definitely could've gone for a bit more food. Still the overall experience made it worth it. Great service, chill patio setup, and such a unique experience. Will definitely be coming back.

Service was excellent. Making us comfortable on the deck overlooking the small view of the ocean and turning on the heater. Ambience was superb. We shared hummus with a nice selection of veggies, flat bread, and crostini. Good wine selection included "orange" wines for Susan. At over $15/6 oz we each only had one glass, escaping with just a $50.00 bill, including a smaller than deserved tip. Sorry but we're not printing our own money.

    Dip duo with view

Little hidden gem! Loved the outdoor seating- intimate and quiet with a great view - amazing wine selection and delicious eats. Isabella was delightful (actually)- very knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive (but not overly). She also rocks a Marvin Gaye playlist and likes discussing books and music if a patron is so inclined. Edit: i had a dip duo - caramelized onion and goat cheese based on one of Isabella's recommendations (she didn't miss once) - delicious

    Patio with a view

We were seeking a quick glass of wine in La Jolla and stumbled across this tiny storefront that seemed to feature olive oils. A small door sign touted an ocean view patio with a wine list. We followed the host downstairs onto a rickety patio where they set up wood tables with stools. Service was friendly and they offered a pretty comprehensive selection of small plates and beverages. We ordered a few plates with glasses of wine. Our charcuterie and cheese platter ($28) arrived with toasted baguette slices and crackers. More cheese than meat, but could have been much more interesting if the sole salami was sliced paper thin. It would be easier eat, share and give the impression of double the amount. An Arugula Spinach Salad with nuts and bits of apple was ample and shareable. Pesto Flat Bread (read pizza) was home made and was tasty. Lemon Oil was cursory. Although a dusting of fresh grated Parm, and a few pine nuts would have been appropriate garnishes. A Caprese Panini took some time to arrive, but it was toasty, seasoned and came with a handful of kettle chips. It's a sliver of a galley kitchen, so I could imagine the person heating, plating, slicing and counting olives could be slammed at any time before sunset when a party of 6 tries to make this dinner. Parts of the patio offered slivers of views of the Le Jolla Coastline depending where you sat. Esp when a few plus-sized Construction workers plant down on balcony stools and order a few bottles of White Zinfandel. Meh on touting an ocean view.

Ugh I love this place. We stop in every time we're in La Jolla for a glass of wine or two and enjoy the view. Decent selection of wines and snack foods where you can sit and enjoy a beautiful sunset.

This is a great place to stop and grab a little bite and wine when walking around La Jolla or waiting for dinner. We always make sure to stop by when in La Jolla. The wines have consistently been satisfying and they are always ready with a good recommendation if you can't decide. Do yourself a favor and also make sure to grab the bread and olive oil. It's delicious. Also, the patio is a great place to watch the ocean while having a nice conversation.

Really enjoyed this wine bar for drinks before dinner. Nice sunset views and good wine. Good place to escape the big crowds around sunset too. Really liked the prosciutto wrapped dates.

10/10 recommend. Our server Izzy was amazing! She made the whole experience so enjoyable. I'm not usually great at picking wine, but her suggestions were spot-on and exactly what we were looking for. Honestly, she made the night better just by being herself. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Stopped by We Olive & Wine Bar and had a fantastic time. We grabbed a table with a perfect sunset view, snacked on the charcuterie tray, spicy honey pizza, and the bread with olive oil dip--all seriously tasty. We shared a bottle of the Syrah (Victoria's recommendation), and it was spot on. Speaking of Victoria--she was amazing. Super friendly, funny, and totally unfazed by our goofy energy. Big thanks to her for making the night even better!

This is a nice little wine bar where you can come, sip on a glass of wine, and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with an ocean-side view reading a book. If you are here with a group of 3-4, it's probably more worthwhile to buy a whole bottle than individual glasses (there were three of us and each of us had 2 glasses, which came out to be cheaper than if we each bought our own glass separately). We also tried their cheeseboard and bread, both of which were delicious. If you are in La Jolla taking a stroll, this wine bar is definitely not to be missed. They also sell a variety of olive oil, which I will certainly try the next time I am here.

Great view with great food and wine! Nice, relaxed atmosphere with a view to the ocean. Charcuterie, dips, and flatbread were excellent. Service was attentive without being pushy. Pick the right wine and linger here a while!

The view alone is 5 stars. This was probably one of my absolute favorite places in San Diego that we went. It's just so unique and so much fun. Honestly, skip appetizers at your dinner restaurant and get them here. Everything was so good! It's such a calming place to be. I loved it.

I've never liked any kind of vinegar but this with the fresh bread of the charcuterie board was DELICIOUS!!

From delicious food, to fresh produce, to the most gorgeous and vibrant flowers, to beautiful pottery, to unique clothes... you name it, they have it there! Make sure to come early as parking can be a bit tricky, especially if you want to park closer to the farmers' market. Once you get parked though, everything is a breeze. They even have tables and chairs around for people to eat at. There's also a playground for families who have little ones! I could never go to a farmers' market and leave without fresh flowers, so of course I had to pick up some from Hidalgo Flowers. They always have the most colorful and stunning arrangements, and for a decent price too. This time, I got a bunch with the prettiest sunflowers. We also picked up the sweetest and reddest strawberries from this one vendor. I highly regret not getting their name, but I will definitely be on the hunt for them the minute we go back. We got a cup of strawberries with some dark chocolate sauce from Strawberries and Chocolate. That was sooo good! We devoured it so quickly, we didn't even get to take a picture of it. One of the standouts for me was the Pork Sisig Rice from Baryo Eats. It was AHHHHMAZING!! It's the best kind of pork sisig that I love to eat--the taste was so good and nostalgic, it took me back to my college days back in the Philippines! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We also got some Paella from Driana Catering/Taste of Spain. It was so flavorful and the rice was cooked to perfection. We were just sad they ran out of shrimp by the time we got some, so we were left with chicken only. We got some goodies from It's Cafe Thai as well--Milk Tea with Boba, Taro Thai Coffee, and the Mango Sticky Rice. All of them had just the right amount of sweetness and hit the spot for us. Lastly, we had some of the watermelon and the cucumber lemonade refreshers, and the chicken and pork tamales from Gourmet Tamales. They were so good, we even took some home for later! Overall, I'm already looking forward to the next Sunday we can stop by this farmers' market!
