A nightmare from start to finish. So disappointed I hired this company, when there are cheaper options out there, and sometimes bee removal is even free. When they came to do the job, they completely botched it... see the photo attached, after they performed their work and treatment, in the middle of the night we found the interior bedroom wall was cracked and letting a swarm of bees inside the house! Horrifying in the middle of the night. This indicates that they didn't even remove the bees, when they said they did. A year later, we are seeing bees swarming outside the house at the exact same area as before, but We Save Bees refuses to honor the stated 24-month warranty or do anything about this whatsoever. We had two hives in our walls that needed to be moved, and instead of using a one-size-fits all approach, Dan came up with a creative solution to remove the bees without cutting out large pieces of the stucco wall. While this approach did take longer than the traditional method, it worked for our situation, was less disruptive to our lives and the bees' lives and costed us far less. We had over 20 bees enter our home through a fireplace. We had a swarm in our lemon tree. Dan was great, saying the bees might leave on their own. They did leave the lemon tree but started to make a hive in our tumbling composter. Dan coached us in ways we could get them to leave, trying to save us the cost of a removal, which was fantastic, but in the end the bees went back to the lemon tree and started another hive. So he did come and remove it, explained everything and now we are bee-less and much more educated about bees. Honestly the experience of getting to watch close-up and learn about bee behavior was worth more than the removal fee. So imagine walking your dog in your neighborhood.. it's a beautiful sunny day and at the time you have not a care in the world... Then imagine rounding a corner, minding your own business. You notice a pick up truck with the words "WE SAVE BEES" on the side. You don't give it a second thought until, as you pass the truck, you feel a pain in your right arm. You look down to see a bee stinging your arm. You then feel the same sensation on your head, chest and other arm. You realize you're being stung by numerous bees. Then as you're getting stung no less than 10 times you wave to the person who knows how to deal with bees. You make eye contact with the person who deals with Bees for a living! Well, finally imagine as you're flailing around trying to avoid getting stung by the small swarm of bees, you see that same person, look at you, make a U-Turn and leave you in the middle of the street getting stung by the bees he is responsible for. While getting stung I had to throw my beanie off my head and away from me because it had over a dozen bees on it. I lost my AirPod as a result. So after the sun went down and I was treated for my bee stings, I went back to look for my beanie. Upon arriving back at the scene of this fiasco, I saw the irrigation controls where the bees had made their hive. Well the WE SAVE BEES guy DID NOT SAVE THE BEES because there were at least 100 DEAD BEES. (Luckily I found my beanie and my now broken AirPod) So in review, this incident actually happened to me last week; In Reviewing the incident, it was obvious the "WE SAVE BEES" guy pissed off a small hive of bees, left no warning for anyone what was going on , causing me to walk by a ton of pissed off bees. Which, as a result, caused the pissed off bees to go for the only person in the area. As a result of this careless employee I was STUNG at least 10 times. Lastly,the WE SAVE BEES guy saw me and did not help in anyway. Instead, after we made eye contact and as I waved to him: he left. Only good thing was the bees did not sting my dog. This may not stop you from using this company but just know they don't care about people or bees. Or at the very least employ people who don't care about their job. read more

I have never written a poor review about a company however they way I was treated with complete disregard leaves me no choice. I own several rental units in SD County. Recently I discovered a bee hive in an area I am planning to build an ADU. I had used WE SAVE Bees once before , They were pricy $3,000 + but they did a satisfactory job. It took them about a week but when they showed I had them remove the hive. They suggested and I agreed to come out a second time to spray for Pheromones . The text I received said wait a week or 2 and the bees should disappear. I received a bill for $950.00 and promptly paid it. I notified them after about 2 weeks that the bees had returned. I was told they'd have to work me in but should be within a week . They never came. I let them know I was dissatisfied. They countered since is was now a construction area they weren't responsible even though it was the same wall they originally treated. I will be honest and say that I technically never used We Save Bees for actual bee removal, BUT I did call and try to set up an immediate appointment when we had a sudden swarm of bees invade our attic. I am deathly (and I stress the word death) allergic to bee stings and the thought of them invading my house and crawling through our recessed lighting (which they did) into our house was not only frightening, but in my case, potentially deadly. I called We Save Bees after several attempts to call other bee services, all of which I had to leave messages or talk to answering services (the bees were, of course, discovered at 5:01 PM). Dan was the unlucky soul that picked up the phone to my frantic pleas for help and immediate service. Dan was seriously, not only the calm voice of reason, but he gave me excellent advice over the phone on how to stop the swarm and stop the internal house invasion (all of which worked ridiculously well). My husband followed every piece of advice and our swarm ditched our attic and hasn't returned. Dan even gave me his personal cell# so that I would update him immediately to let him know if he still needed to come out or not to help us. He even gave me a price estimate over the phone in the event he had to come over. When I texted him the update, he responded with so much support and positivity, regardless of how our issue was resolved and that he was no longer needed. I would refer this company over and over again just because of how I was treated. If they are THIS good without even providing any actual in-house service, imagine how amazing they would be if they actually had to come out. Standing ovation guys! read more

Avoid this company if you can. There's a lot of room for improvement with Dan's communication and ethics. I reached out to Dan and the office staff for bee removal receiving contradictory info from both. The office staff said the bees would move on on their own but then a few days later Dan texted saying he'd send someone to collect the bees and we'd schedule an appointment in the next couple days. The fee would be $350 for a very small hive. Great, I thought. Lets get this done. Over a week later I get a text from Dan saying a wrangler would be at my house in a couple hours to collect the bees. Huh? No one ever contacted me about appointment days/times, there had been zero communication from this company and the hive had dwindled down considerably. The wrangler showed up, took a couple pics of the hive and said there was no need to remove them. So much time had passed and the bees were in fact moving on. He spent less than 15 min at our property. A couple weeks later I received a bill for $150. Never once did Dan or the office staff communicate there would be a fee for not removing bees. When I reached out to the office to discuss this I never received a reply. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. read more

Very impressed with this company! Excellent customer service by Dan and Christopher. We had a swarm on our second story and I wasn't sure if they were here to stay. Dan picked up the phone right away when I called and explained the entire process on how they save the bees. My husband and I felt this was the best solution. I've heard several stories on how exterminators kill the bees and leave the comb and honey inside the wall to rot and often the bees return. Bees are already being threatened by pesticides and they don't deserve to die. Christopher took photos of the process and even showed me the bees after. He was unable to come right then, since he was involved with another project, but texted me to get information regarding our situation. I wanted a humane way to move a hive that formed in the paneling of my hot tub. We all know his important bees are and how they are disappearing​. The bees entered through a small hole and created a hive in between the insulation and hot tub itself inside the paneling. I received a prompt quote via phone that was quite reasonable. The two workers were very careful not to damage my hot tub or the paneling when removing it, the bees, and then replacing it again while also sealing to the hole so the bees cannot return. You cannot tell any work was done or that the paneling was removed and returned. They documented their work with photos and were able to successfully locate the queen and remove the hive in a wooden box contraption. They were responsive via email and text communication. I found this service on google and on its website it listed North San Diego along with other locations so I thought great I live in Escondido and to me North San Diego seems to fit. I called the # listed 760 678 4903 to be told by voicemail to call 858 945 7229 it also said if I had pictures of the bee problem I could send it to the 858 #. I did so. I sent the pictures and a message. I received 1 reply asking where I was located to which I replied Escondido..I also said to contact me when possible because my roommate was getting impatient and would like to just spray insecticide on them.. My grapefruit tree had a huge swarm of honeybees and visible honey combs and my home is located in a heavy traffic area of children walking to school because my house is right next door to an elementary school. I never got a reply back or a phone call back and needless to say when I got home from work I found out someone in the neighborhood took it upon themself to spray them all dead in fear a child would get stuck by one or several children and risk one of them having an allergic reaction.. Very knowledgeable people, the two technicians, Christopher and Hutch, went above and beyond to finish the job in cold and damp weather. The bees were in the walls of the chimney where it meets the attic which was difficult to reach except to open up the chimney cover. These two worked diligently to remove the comb, cut into the plywood where the bees were, sprayed an oil primer to treat the residual bees. They stuffed the section with insulation and repaired the plywood piece. They caulked and repaired the chimney cap, using stucco and silicone on smaller seams. In addition, they sent me multiple photos of the bee removal from the chimney. Now I know exactly what they have done. They are professionals and I cannot say thank you enough. read more

When I heard bees in the chimney, I called Dan with We Save Bees and a few other bee removal services. Dan was the only one who gave me advice on how to get rid of the problem without even coming out. It helped that the bees hadn't had time to get settled into the chimney yet. I appreciated Dan's honesty as he could have charged me to come out and look at it. I was able to turn on the fireplace and deter the bees because I was advised by Dan that they hadn't taken root yet after I described the situation to him. I'm giving 5 stars to We Save Bees for Dan being an honest and sincere business person. I will definitely call him in the future should there be a need for it!
