I paid Jayne Bromberg with We The People Long Beach $757.00 in full on 2/26/20 to perform services related to drafting a family trust and deeds protecting my home and family from probate court. I was never contacted or emailed by Jayne during those 30 days, so I phoned her on 3/25/20 to get an update and progress info. on my Family Trust. She claimed everything was completed and ready to sign, but due to the lockdown from (COVID19) she was locked out of her office. I thought, it was strange that Jayne was unable and unwilling to go to her business when she's the owner. I waited another month and decided to email her today on 4/27/20 requesting my family trust that she claims is completed be delivered by 4/29/20 or refund my payment. She responded back with a generic email claiming again that my Family Trust is complete but she can't go to her office in Long Beach. I believe this is an unacceptable excuse, if its done drive to your office and get it. Let me have what I paid for or give me a refund so I can get my affairs in order with another company. 4/27/20 Jaynes voicemail is full and her email said I MIGHT get my Family Trust around May 15th, 2020 IF the lockdown is lifted, which more than likely won't be. It's unprofessional and unreasonable to hold onto clients money, make excuses and not deliver. I shouldn't have to wait 90 to 120 days for protection I needed yesterday. I just want to review my documents now for accuracy because on 2/26/20 Jayne was very distracted by people arriving, took several phone calls during our scheduled appointment, did not take any notes for my file, was disorganized and did not ask any questions. When I arrived on 2/26/20 she gave me a 7 page living trust worksheet with beneficiary designations to fill out. When I finished she handed me a single page that read in caps NOTICE TO CLIENT You may obtain information from local bar if you believe you are a victim of fraud etc. I thought I was signing a NOTICE of rights for the Living Trust Work Sheet. Jayne never gave me the opportunity to review, discuss, read, sign or initial her contract. Jayne did staple and attach the NOTICE TO CLIENT page I signed as the last page behind her contract after I paid. Jaynes contract and service details related to my specific needs were not put into notes or discussed. I have a difficult time believing Jayne is competent to execute a family trust based on my personal interaction with her 2/26/20, on the phone 3/25/20 and lastly 4/27/20 expecting me to wait until May or longer. I also do not require face to face notary services from her so she can not use that as an excuse either. I do not recommend this business. read more

I received an irate call from Jayne Bromberg demanding that I change my negative review posted here on YELP ( 5/20/2013). The original review stands as is, because the experience was overall disorganized and very stressful for my family. Also read reviews for her Burbank store-- similar experiences as mine. In all fairness, however to Jayne, the owner, she did stop by our home and drop of the completed forms after over 4 weeks of repeated follow up calls and emails. We appreciated this action on her behalf but would not recommend nor use her services again. read more

A month after paying for the divorce service I called to check my status. I was told that everything was fine, I should wait for them to contact me within two weeks. Two weeks later they still didn't contact me. A week later I stopped by the office because I was in the area, she scrambled around looking for my paperwork then said she would call when she found it. When I called them again weeks later they realized that they didn't submit my paperwork. By this time months had past so I told her I wanted a refund. I've called several times and went by the office to receive my refund. Every time I contact someone in the office they say they will get back to me; now, more than a year later I haven't receive a refund or a call back from anyone within the office. read more

I went in to see Jayne with a very heavy heart, I was very upset at myself for getting into a situation that was forcing me to file for a BK7. Filing for this, to me was one of the biggest decisions I have ever had to make, I was terrified and ashamed that I would now be considered "a bad person". I was holding the tears back as I walked into the door, and my heart raced as I waited for my appointment to start. Jayne is awesome! When my mother passed away, I wanted to keep the house we lived in together - but it was in her name. I contacted an Attorney and was told it would be $15,000.00 PLUS fees to go through probate. Since I did not want to sell the house to pay the lawyer fees, I did nothing for 7 years until someone told me about WE THE PEOPLE. Jayne was super helpful and put my mind at ease that first day. It did take a while to complete the process but I saved about $12,000.00 - well worth the wait! Going through the Probate process is difficult and usually requires teams of Attorneys - I quickly realized that there is NO WAY I could have done this on my own! I ended up at Jayne's office based on a great past experience at the San Luis Obispo office bearing the same name. Typos ("his" instead of "her", missing word), late return calls, and wrong appointment time caused much of the wasted time and frustration. On my last visit, I was asked at the last minute to bring the first draft of my document (and had to swing by home from work for that, first). Apparently, they could not locate a saved copy. Spent 50 minutes waiting for them to retype. Even had to go out to feed the parking meter. Front people were nice, but service quality surely did not meet my expectations! Oh, just forgot! When asking for a (partial and reasonable) refund, I just got a token hundred. I did not feel my business was important. Very disappointing experience! read more

In spite of the high rating by others my experience was not anywhere near theirs. Initially Jayne was very helpful in preparing drafts of the re-vesting of several deeds. The drafts were reviewed by the rep from the title company that had required the vesting change and then ask for a few revisions. The revisions were forwarded to Jayne and then it seemed that she had dropped off the planet. My phone calls and e-mails over a four week period were met with "She's on the other line.", She is with another customer." and She is out sick." My e-mails were never replied to. I hired Jayne to complete my Chapter 7 BK forms a year ago and now I am requesting a refund because Jayne has not completed the paperwork. I have been requesting a refund for months now and all her secretary Leanna does is give me excuses on why the check hasn't been mailed to me or why I cannot pick it up myself. Another person I personally know who hired her on the same day has already received their refund for the same issue.
