We agreed to his plan and the whole team guided us through the whole 2-3 month process. The installation team quoted 2 days but when they arrived they felt they could complete it in 1 day. They worked really fast but maybe too fast as they left some broken glass and other construction debris around our house after they left. I brought this up to the team and the supervisor came out to the house to clean it up himself and inspect everything, which was good of him. Overall I would recommend this company. In February of 2025 we contracted with this company for eighteen hurricane rated replacement windows for our Florida home. The project was to have been completed mid July, 2025. In July, the installers arrived with the windows. Eleven of the windows were scratched and two were broken. We refused all the damaged windows and were told the replacements would be expedited. In the process of installing the windows the workmen cracked three of the marble window sills and also cracked the drywall under three of the windows. Four weeks later we were told the windows were at PGT (the window maker) ready for delivery. Three weeks after that update we were told that PGT was backed up and our replacements were "in production"! In mid September Weather-tite Windows came to install the broken windows, replace the scratched windows, repair the cracked marble sills, and the cracked drywall. In the process of installing one of the broken windows, that marble sill was cracked and had to be replaced as well. Also, one of the replacement windows was still missing, yet another was scratched and two screens were still missing. Yet again we had to wait for two of the replacement windows to be manufactured. Finally, the project was completed on November 21, 2025. Nine months of aggravation finally done. This company's quality control is lacking, to say the least. Installation process was very careless. After speaking to a lady on the phone and transferring into the office manager Elsa, I believe her name was...... All I can say is just call and listen to this lady. They can't even let you get a word and understand that you're just calling to get an estimate and the lady spends 20 minutes going in circles just gabbing way over talking to you..... from looking at the reviews they're pretty low, but not low enough they do not deserve not even one star...... one of the first questions are gonna want to know is if you have a grant....... So naturally, I asked what that had to do with it as I felt they were looking at that you have a grant so that's free money to you so that's more they can charge you and I wanted to make sure I wasn't falling into that trap....... But I definitely got the feeling that was the trap...... 100% never recommend this company I would never ever ever even ask you to call to get anything from this company. I wouldn't trust them to tighten a screw....... and then a guy named Lucas gets down and tells me he manages the whole place...... but couldn't specify his position just that he's in management..... because I had received three other estimates and nobody asked me if I had a grant or not.... Which has no bearing whatsoever with the company that is my money done through my process done with my paperwork....... Long story short, they installed a large hurricane impact window that required 2 1/2 feet of wall to be filled in on either side of the window. They installed wood framing in the empty spaces instead of block like the rest of the wall. It started cracking on the outside and inside 3 months later. Now one side of the wall (they installed) is falling backwards on the interior. They are refusing to actually fix the problem and only offering to apply drywall mud to cover the cracks and smooth out the ridge where the wall is falling. They are blaming the issue on the fact that we haven't painted the area; although we applied concrete sealer after install and patches the outer cracks 3 months after installation. Absolutely ridiculous! So we have a hurricane proof window in a wall that is flimsy. I will never recommend WeatherTite for any work! read more

Warranty is for a year" The time of the warranty for the door is appropriate. Ross and his team did a superb job of putting in 35 window windows and three doors in our home. The job was done, meticulously and in a timely fashion. The installers were prompt, cordial and respectful. The inspection by the city was completed in a timely manner. The job of installing all the seals and door jams was done in a timely manner and very neatly . This overall. job was recommended to me by two of my neighbors which were given to Ross. They had previously had their Homes done with Weather Tite and were thoroughly convinced that these types of windows would meet my expectations and high satisfaction. I would recommend Weather type to other family friends and neighbors. My wife and I want to thank you for a job well done and we hope that this will last a lifetime but most definitely that it will survive the next hurricane. Should there be one. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! DON"T USE UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH WINDOW LEAKS! I had a leaking window that Weather Tite told me was not installed properly. They said it needed to be replaced and after spending $9,500 to have it and a small slider replaced continued to leak. When they came out to look at it (because it was guaranteed BTW), they said that the leak was caused by tiny cracks in the wall around the window that CAN SIMPLY BE REPAIRED WITH SEALING THE CAULK!!! I did not need to spend $9,500! My sales person was apologetic and suggested I sent a letter to corporate and some low level person called me and said that I did not qualify for any sort of compensation because it was structural. WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ORIGINALLY THAT IT MAY BE STRUCTURAL?!?! I wasn't because they would not get a $9,500 sale. THIS IS A BAD BUSINESS THAT I AM REPORTING TO THE BBB AND REACHING OUT TO MY ATTORNEY. I will also be sure to advise people not do business with a company that does not stand behind their guarantee. Unfortunately, my experience with Weather Tite has been deeply disappointing. We entered into a SIGNED purchase agreement in January for all new windows, and I was looking forward to having new windows installed. However, after waiting for two months and the company coming out to complete the final window measuring and continuing to communicate an anticipated install in June, the company abruptly backed out of the agreement. The sales rep called one evening to notify us and claimed their decision was based on an office assessment that they wouldn't make enough profit from the sale. During this call he said that the office would be sending a mailed document outlining to the decision, but we have never received any further communication. I have since tried calling to speak to the office to get more details and have not been connected to anyone who would speak to it. Very frustrating lack of communication. This situation felt incredibly unprofessional and left me in a difficult spot after planning and budgeting for this purchase. If the company had concerns about profitability, they should have addressed this before entering into the agreement, rather than backing out after such a lengthy delay. Our plan was to have the windows in before storm season, but since Weather Tite waited a full 2 months post agreement signing, there's no time to have another company complete before storm season. Too many head games, sales person tried to charge me for windows that were already impact resistant that would have cost another 10K if I hadn't noticed. Just reading their contract should be warning enough given the kind of liabilities they shield themselves from at your expense. In addition to the games they played, PGT windows aren't the best out there, with QC issues and customer complaints. There are plenty of shady window companies out there, take them all with a grain of salt, check their track record with BBB and Goggle reviews and Never sign anything (which these guys try to do) until you have HOA approval and are secure in the company you hire. Never hire a company that subs any install work, the lien you signed is only with the main contractor, who if he doesn't pay a sub, can still take a lien out on your home! read more

My recently installed sliding glass doors required service that entailed adding floor sashes which meant cutting tile in the kitchen and carpet in the bedroom. I was a bit concerned when they told me they would have to cut tile and carpet, but the Weather Tite service people demonstrated their skill in the way the job turned out - absolutely perfect! Not only did they do an outstanding and highly professional job, the two guys they sent were very hard-working, friendly, efficient and incredibly articulate in explaining to me what the job would entail. They were also both very considerate and conscientious in ensuring that all dust and debris were cleaned up and removed; after they left, you would not have known that any work was done - that's how immaculate they left my home. We had a Terrible experience with Weathertite Windows. we replaced 13 windows in our house, Out of 13 windows we have 1 window that stained (weathertite said it was our water). We think it may be the screen we do not know. ( the other windows that were installed are not like this one). We notified weathertite right away and they sent someone to clean the window with no success, we call weathertite, they accused us of using chemicals on the window, when in fact it was their technician not us that went to Home Depot to buy window cleaner. It's been 1 year and the window is the same, see below photo. Our old previous windows of at least 25 years old, Did not stain they cleaned easy and looked good. (they were old) We have contacted weathertite several times, even left a message for the owner and the guy on TV they never returned our call. Soon after we gave up requesting them to correct our window, due to us having a young death in the family. Of course they will say we are out of warranty, it took weatertite about 6 months plus to install windows, 1window cracked, we had to wait another 6 weeks to replace the cracked one in our bedroom. That being said weather tite not only offered the best price out of three estimates, but Patrick was easy to get ONG with, and not pushy at all. He set expectations that the windows would take a while to come in, and once they did the installers where there on time, did a really nice job, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I was actually quite impressed with the workmanship on the window install and the professionalism of the company. We have more windows to put in and I will use them again without question. BEWARE!!!!! Stay away from these posers! I purchased property that seller had contracted Weather Tite Windows to completely replace all windows and sliders with "Hurricane Proof Windows!" Seller explicitly emphasized she bought hurricane proof windows that had a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, seller relocated out of state and just this month contacted me to tell me who did her windows.....since she couldn't find receipts....warranties...permits (bet they FAILED to get proper permits!) This way I could contact company and get copies for my files of window replacement. Whattyouknow....but they declined!!!! Said I failed to transfer warranty so I was allowed to have seller's info...even though house paid for in full at closing.....and Iernas....Leto's....Generac....and rest of contractors who worked for seller had zero problems transferring ownership and warranties!!! And to transfer warranty...I'd need copies of all work done! Whew! Jabronies! Needed a wind mit for insurance.....Several different home inspectors stated window were NOT hurricane proof....or even 175+ mph rated! Several had stickers saying 140 mph limit. And the company names on window sticker logos failed to show windows actually rated by any official rating service! So there you have it! This company "sold" inferior and unmarked windows to home seller.....then rebuffed my attempts to transfer warranty and get proper paperwork to complete my home's records. So I'll let county and insurance company know how shoddy and shady Weather Tite was with a retired army widow. ....not to mention their abrupt ignorance and total lack of decorum dealing with me. Not my first rodeo, bucko! This is 30+ property I've purchased....so I've been down that road before. With all the local factories....why deal with middle men? Buyer Beware!! I am very unhappy with the service I received from WeatherTite Windows. It took almost 13 MONTHS to get our project completed. I realize we are dealing with unprecedented supply chain issues, but the way this company handled the process, expectations and communications was beyond horrible and I feel I was misled throughout the entire process. Because of the numerous issues on this project, I requested a discount and was offered $200, but only if I agreed to non-disclosure restrictions. So for less than 1% of the cost of the project, I was going to forfeit my right to any comment/opinion. I declined their offer. Below is a brief timeline of the process: · On January 4, 2021, we purchased 8 windows and a slider and paid a significant deposit. The contract stated installation would be done a "minimum of 15 weeks" from date of measurement · September 20-21, 2021 (almost 35 weeks from the date of measurement) 7 windows and the slider were installed (and additional money paid). I was told that one window was broken in transit and it would be installed in a few weeks · On November 10, 2021, after weeks of excuses, I contacted the Corporate Office to see if I could get a resolution and was told it would be taken care of · On December 29, 2021 the final window was installed. Over 12 weeks after installation · January 5, 2022 Sarasota County inspected the windows · January 31, 2022 the final installation service was performed. Bought a condo that touted NEW windows by Weather Tite. Upon investigation it was found windows 10 years old but had a lifetime warranty. We have one with a broken seal and lots of condensation inside the panes. Lady assured me warranted. She said I needed to fill out warranty transfer paperwork and also provide my closing paperwork. Did that and never heard back from them. After 3 weeks I called and after three days of calling someone finally gave me the good news that they denied my warranty transfer. I contacted PGT Custom Windows and Doors to find a distributor and to get a quote for replacing a 54" wide entry door. Within minutes a rep from Weather Tite Windows called. When I informed him that I only wanted to replace the door, he informed me that they have a minimum of 3 openings, so they would not be interested. From seeing the commercials with Weather Tite Mike holding the chocolate chip cookie and acting very friendly on TV, you would think that they really cared about people, but I guess not. After the installation (which went very well), one of the Crew broke the stand on my antique easel, rendering it useless. I am an artist and use this easel for displaying my work. When I called about this issue, they said get an estimate and submit it to accounting. Accounting called and said, according to our contract, the Crew is in no way responsible for any damage to anything regarding their installation, referring me to Para. #7. I sent a letter to Michael Hollander asking for an exception and was promptly granted one. Now this is First Class World Customer Service. Extremely disappointed in this company. Really let us down and made me feel they have no compassion for their customers or pride in their business. Our house got all new windows and doors approximately one year ago with Weather Tite and it was a major selling point for our home. I called them to check the sliders after hurricane Helene because of leaking and to purchase another door and two replacement slider screens. Weather Tite refused to come out to inspect their product or seal my door because we were not the original purchasers. Even when I offered to pay for the service call and replacement they refused to support us. This product was new! They even refused to send a sales rep to sell us a new back door or sliding screens since we wouldn't be purchasing a minimum three or more entries regardless of the fact that they had recently replaced all the windows in the home.
