I assumed the acrylic was the cause so Monday I went to have them remove the false nail and a fungus had set up under my nail bed. The lady put something anti fungal stuff on it. That's all. It was hurting so bad I went to er They said it was puss under my nail and drilled a hole to release it. They numbed my thumb with 2 needles then lifted my nail bed up and packed it with gauze.
