What an absolute DISASTER!!! Not only he really doesn't know what he's doing, he's also full of attitude and unprofessional behavior. I wanted to remodel my wife's shower as a surprise while she was away. Justin was referred by someone to me. When he came he was all "yes sir" and polite. It started ok with the demo. What went wrong after that is what I've found since I actually got a proper company to do the work. 1. The floor was put in place without plumbing under the house 2. The floor was very unstable and bouncy 3. The drain he connected wasn't even glued to the drain line 4. The cement was placed incorrectly 5. He used some sealing mat4tial that he slapped with a brush that is actually not meant for shower. Then he starts putting up the hardiebacker cement boards without even putting up waterproofing paper!!! In the process he's complaining that I'm checking his work and asking what he's doing as if I don't have a right to make sure the job is done right. He finally comes to work one day to so called continue. Without telling me he took his tools and left and blocked my number!!! Overall an incompetent liar. I suppose I should thank God for having this happened since if he had continued all the leaks would have destroyed my house. We called Justin for an estimate to fix our wood laminate floor that was buckling from moisture. He put our minds at ease immediately as we thought this was going to be a big job, other contractors told us we'd have to replace the flooring entirely! As you can see from the screenshots attached, Justin confirmed an appointment time with me, did not show up or notify me he wasn't showing, and then ignored all follow up communication. I've tried both phone calls and text messages and Justin has yet to respond over 48 hours. This would be frustrating regardless, but he had already come to the property and charged me once for his evaluation. He shared that if I hired him to complete the job, he would account for the 1st payment made and cut me a deal. I have had two interactions with this business. The first project was $4000. Drywall installed, flooring installed, and install of tile pieces that were damaged on the floor. This project was done to my satisfaction even though there were minimal delays. Justin was more attentive to this project, I believe because of the project cost. The second project was an install of a backsplash for my kitchen ($1,460). The first day Justin installed cement boards; he arrived in the afternoon and completed two hours of work. During backsplash install there was a light switch that was defective. I was informed of defective light switch after he tiled the wall that was impacted. I believe light switch should have been checked prior to tiling wall. 95 percent of backsplash was completed on 9/10/2021. Although, total project was not completed, he was paid the balance owed for backsplash. My mistake, but I believed that he would complete project as discussed. I cannot blame anyone but myself for this decision. Contacted Justin on September 13th, to come to home to cut tile so electrician could do work. He stated he was not available until 9/15/2021 in the morning. He arrived after 2:00 pm on 9/15/2021. I hired someone to cut tile on 9/13th so electrician could replace light switch. I hired someone to cut tile because I believed he would not show up as he stated. Justin, then measured the wood to replace the molding on window seal. He stated that he would return and complete the work on 9/17/2021. As of 9/25/2021, Justin has not returned to complete the molding on the window seal. I do not recommend this business. It is not the clients responsibility to contact any business that has not completed work. read more

Three times the charm. Victor did absolutely everything he possibly could to Never get my business again. Our first appointment he didn't arrive at all, even after I called/texted him several times. Our second appointment, he shows (because he going on vacation and needs my money), but it takes him over 8 hours to install two electrical sockets (that already existed), and insert a glass desktop. Coincidence? Maybe. Because he didn't complete the work job on the prior appointment, I paid him 80%, and told him I would pay the balance when he came back. Our final appointment, to sand the drywall and re-paint the wall, he's a no-call, no-show. Nothing. By this time, I'm fed up, "time to cut my losses." Hmm, well, I would have, but the guy took my house key. So I call, and call, and call, and call...Finally, he calls back to schedule a time to drop my key. He shows up for that appointment (I'm sure more for the money than anything else). It's NOT my key! Unreliable, inexperienced and unethical. Trifecta! By the way, I paid him the balance. read more

I needed modifications made to my parents' home including exterior door replacement, grab bar installations and a major bath tub modification using the CleanCut tub conversion kit. We used Webb's Handyman Service to replace a broken attic ladder as well as a number of other small jobs around our new home. He was courteous and professional. When the job was a bit trickier than we originally thought because the sizing of the opening was non-standard, he was able to solve the problem quickly and finish the job without too much of a delay. He was also able to dispose of the old ladder and pieces that he removed. While he was working on our ladder, we brought up a few other small problems that we were facing. Robert was everything I could have asked for in a handyman. He was wearing a mask. He was super friendly, down-to-earth and empathetic regarding the problem I had created for myself. I had taken our kitchen fan down from the ceiling and couldn't get it back up. He listened patiently to everything I wanted to tell him, assessed the problem and promptly proceeded to do the steps necessary to fix it in an expert manner. I have owned a home for 20 years and have had many handymen and woman came by to help me with projects. Unfortunately, Victor, as least the day he visited my home, was the worst of the all. I will try to be as objective as possible. THE POSITIVES: Prompt, friendly, and accommodating with scheduling. THE NEGATIVES: (1) Did not come prepared with all the materials for the entire repair job. One of the items was a re-chaulk of my tub, but he forgot the materials for it and correspondingly tried to charge me for the hour it took him to go to the store them. (2) He pulled down vertical blinds and created a huge mess (dirt and plaster) all over my new carpet. He vacuuming up after, but I had to remove dirt stains later from the carpet. Plastic would have preventing all that mess. (3) And the worst of it. He re-hung a towel bath in my bathroom and drove two metal wall anchors completely through the bathroom wall and into my hallway closet. I didn't realize this occurred until after he left. I contacted him to tell him of his mistake (PLEASE SEE THE PHOTO ATTACHED TO MY REVIEW) and did not hear back. (4) He told me the job would take 2 hours and was at my house for 7 hrs. This guy is amazing. Was so kind. Our hamster got stuck under the vanity in the bathroom. (And by "got stuck" I mean ran away and made himself a home.) Victor understood the urgency of the call and was able to reconfigure a light day to come over in 2 hours. He figured out how to take a piece apart, rescue the hamster, and put it all back so no one but me could see it. Like others, I found Victor using Yelp and I am so pleased with his work that I want to recommend him. He's completed dozens of projects for us, on a townhome we sold and a house we bought. He is honest, skilled, reliable, works with attention to detail, and prices his work well. He has the knowledge and skill to complete many different types of jobs and does all of them with enthusiasm and the desire to do quality work. Victor is also a nice, pleasant and a wonderfully happy person - which is a treat when you have someone spending all day working in your home. Some examples of his work: Victor completed exacting, detailed work that required precise measurements (normally done by machine, he had to do them by hand) for adjustable shelving and did it accurately. He did carpentry work on an outdoor fence and repaired it better than it was originally built, including adding a curved shape that made it more attractive. He replaced glass in a pantry door. And some basic work such as caulking and sealing tile. Being a property manager by profession, I have worked with many trades. Finding a handyman is difficult, as you're looking for someone who can do quality work in a variety of areas when most people specialize. When I called Victor today to ask about a specific job, he let me know right away he doesn't do the type of ironwork/welding I need... but rather than hang up, he spent several minutes going through his contacts to find me three people he would personally recommend, including someone who did ironwork/welding at Victor's own property. I had already called over a dozen places with nothing but frustration to show for it, so I greatly appreciated his input - and sure enough, he led me to someone who was able to help me right away. One of my clients who managed properties told me he had a good, honest handyman. Upon meeting Victor I immediately felt good about working with him. He has a very candid nature and is easy to talk to and get along with. His bid on the job was very well explained and thorough. It was reasonable as well. While he was working I really got the feeling that he was the type of guy you didn't have to watch. I felt completely comfortable leaving him alone and knowing that my business was safe. He was considerate of my clients and constantly asked if he was doing anything that was bothering me or my clients. After doing so well on the first job I referred him to several of my clients who have all had similar experiences. Where do I begin in my gratitude, respect, appreciation, and praise of the work done by Webb's Handyman Service. My request was to build a garage in a box to place over a therapy pool. The guys who came out realized that the item I purchased wasn't tall enough or structurally strong enough for long term usage. They did the calculations and took my existing item and customized it to meet my need. They were GREAT!! The guys could have just assembled the item but they realized it wasn't sufficient. I have a disability and purchased the therapy pool for easier workout at home and these guys understood how important this item was to me. I honestly felt like they treated me as family. You know how you go above and beyond for your mom, well on this day I had 3 sons working because they made me feel that special. Their work was impeccable. The level of communication with Webb's service was also stellar. I had an emergency meeting a little after they arrived, before they realized the additional adjustments were needed, so when I returned they explained why the job was taking a little longer and exactly how the changes would benefit me long term.
