As a resident of Somerdale, no stranger to Webers on the WHP. Sad when they close for the season and always look forward to when they re-open! What a disappointment the other night at Webers on the WHP! Root Beer always the best, along with the service! Ordered 2 sandwiches and asked for a slice of ONION on each. What receive was 2 "rings" from an even thinner slice of an onion! Is the an onion shortage or cook/owner being CHEAP! This was so out of the ordinary! Hope improves if I return. Pork Roll edges were also VERY OVER cooked. I guess when both girls were serving customers and the cook came out of kitchen ti put a to go bag of food on the counter. He walked away from grill and over cooked the pork roll!! read more

Super cute drive-in restaurant. We sat in the car and the waitress walked over to car window and took my order. Reminded me of the movies I saw in the 50's but the waitress wore roller skates! The cheese burger tasted fresh and was delicious! The cheese fries were good. The strawberry shake was okay but I was told by the passenger in my car that the banana shake was "Uber tasty"! We visited just in time because there is a sign stating Webers is closing for the season on October 20th. read more

Had a great lunch at Webers yesterday. Two hot dogs with spicy mustard, relish and sauerkraut, fries and a black cherry soda. They also have fantastic cheeseburgers and use a special one off custom blend for their beef. Exceptional service and by far the best food around with great prices. They are open tomorrow for the 4th of July and we're heading back. I highly recommend Webers in Stratford! read more

The burger here has to be one of the best burgers I've had since moving to NJ! The patty is perfectly smashed and cooked along with the excellently cooked fries. A classic burger still done right. The service was awesome. Pulled up and was given a menu and time to go over it. Once the food was up they set it on the window and you get to enjoy the atmosphere. A must stop if you're in the area. We've been here several times this past summer and it was great every time. Darren is doing a fine job revitalizing this iconic drive-in. We get the double cheeseburger, fries and shakes. They've been really good every time. Burgers done to perfection, crispy(but not overcooked) fries and thick shakes. You can tell he's not using bargain basement beef. The service is excellent. A memory of 60 years ago without the roller skates, but the wait staff hustled on foot. Memories and fun ln a relived experience. Rootbeer is still tasty, but the mug is long gone. Nostalgia is the name of the game here at Weber's. I hadn't been to a Weber's in decades, and my husband had never been. He wasn't even sure how a drive-in restaurant worked, but when we were done he said, "That was delightful!" I remember going to Weber's in South Jersey when I was really young--like, 5 years old--in the 70s. There was a skate park (which, if I recall correctly, would be a death trap by today's safety standards) next door, so I'd order my "black cow" and watch the big kids skateboard while we ate. There was usually at least one server on roller skates. There's not much to see outside of the fun orange-and-yellow building these days, but the service is friendly and fast, and the food is incredibly reasonable. I got a burger, he got a hot dog, and we shared some fries. The food is still served in reasonable portions as it was decades ago. I assume the burger looks small compared to other places, but it's more than enough for one human to eat for a meal. The small soda is small--not the 16 oz "small" at Wawa. But again, I didn't want to overdo it so it was perfect for me. The burger was made fresh to order. It's kind of a "smash burger," as the kids like to call them. I got grilled onions and mushrooms (free toppings!) on it. It was good. I really liked the fries, too. We shared a large order and that was on par with today's large portions. It was probably more fries than we should have had, but we ate them all! It's a fun, affordable, throwback meal. read more

I love the idea of drive up restaurants, it just ties together the seasons of spring and summer. Sofia's down in Hammonton is our favorite. I know this place had a tough opening last year, and we never got the chance to visit before they closed. We were very excited to give them a try. We were a little bit disappointed in the menu. Hotdogs, hamburgers, cheesesteaks and ice cream. I heard they were focusing on quality over quantity, so we understood and went with it. We got cheeseburgers and although they were good, they were small and certainly not the best burger we've ever had. When someone says focusing on quality over quantity, I expect the burger to be one for the books since all your focus is on it. Now don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad burger. It was tasty and the cheese good, but not something I'd return just to have or go out of my way for. The fries were good, crispy. Cheese sauce yummy. Overall good for a lunch, but not dinner for us at least. read more

We aren't from this area, and looked up yelp for a yummy place to eat. I will say, it's a little on the slower side. She did apologize ahead of time for the wait, and said it's been hard to find help. I will tell you, It's worth the wait!!!!!! This was so delicious! I'm glad we stopped and will will definitely be back again. The bacon was real and perfectly cooked. I basically got everything on my burger and it was sooo messy. Definitely not a good first date idea to get everything on the burger... good things we've been married for 10 years - I MAY have had relish on my chin. Can't wait to come back, and bring our kids! Great local spot that just open new for 2021. Burgers were great, as well as service. It was fun to take the family to an old school drive in where they put a tray in you window. My two sons enjoyed their fries, hotdogs, and grilled cheese. I found their fries to be great, much better than your normal fast food offerings. read more

Went to Weber's earlier today with my husband n a friend. The waitress was nice, but the order got messed up. I ordered small fries plain and my friend ordered large fries with cheese. Well I got cheese, (can't eat cheese) n his didn't come with any. The fries were really thin. I like potato on my fries. The burgers were really flat n looks like it was torn apart then put back together Prices were a bit high. Paper menus instead of the menu in front on the board. Also no Mug for our drinks. Paper cups. We love the old Weber's with the Homemade Rootbeer n better fries. Won't be going back. Unless, food gets better n the frosted mugs come back. read more

Came here to try out a drive-in experience and had a great time! My husband and I both got double cheeseburgers and they were fantastic! Me and my partner have been waiting for this Weber's to open since it is literally right next to his apartment. Finally we were able to give it a try! During these COVID-19 times, this is a great way to eat out since you are in the comfort of your own car. I love the concept of a drive in restaurant. Ordering was really simple, you pull up and park, then the staff comes to your car window and takes your order. They have these trays that attach to your window so you have a place to put all your food. Me and my partner ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, a frank (hotdog), cheese fries and an orange soda. Sad to say we weren't impressed at all. Everything was mediocre. The burger patties were not seasoned at all, so the taste was bland. Vegetables were good though. The hotdog was....simply a hotdog, but you can't really mess up a hotdog. Their french fries were fried well, and I was a fan, but they weren't seasoned so without the cheese they were also bland. Orange soda is okay, nothing special. I do think this place has potential though, so I won't give up on them just yet. Also understand that they had just opened up so trying to give them the benefit of the doubt - while also being honest. read more

Finally got to eat here last night with the family. Everything was really good. My 7 y.o. said it was the best bacon burger he ever had and asked to go back for lunch today when I picked him up from school. Burgers were really good and actually had real, sizable strips of bacon on them, not the skinny little hard strips you get some places. The only suggestion I'd make for the burgers is maybe a quick stop in a save-a-day or something similar to get some of the grease off because there was some in the bottom of the basket which was unsightly and reminded me how bad this type of food is for me. The fries were good, fresh and crispy as well. Wanted to try a root beer float but our server said the soft serve machine wasn't working properly. Hopefully this issue gets resolved. I have been dreaming about a root beer float for weeks and have been waiting so I could get one from here! I wish them luck and hope they do well here.
