I want to take a moment and thank Koorosh and his team at Wedding Bands & Co. for their time and effort in creating an amazing engagement ring for my fiance.  Backstory - I had spent roughly six months searching the internet to understand diamonds better so I could choose the perfect diamond. As an analytical thinker, my goal was to find a team that understood the requirements and could supersede those expectations.  I stumbled upon Koorosh's Spotify podcast called 'The Ring Master Podcast.' I highly recommend anyone who needs insights on subjects to check out the options available. After listening to his joy of diamonds and creating memories for others, it was that which pushed me to check out his ratings online. After seeing he has a 4.9-star rating on Google from over 300+ reviews, it was a "no-brainer" to at least give him a call.  Context - I live in Phoenix, AZ, so working with a jeweler outside of the state wasn't a concern, but it's essential to find a team that can deliver with their online tools, virtual meetings and ability to ship on time.  After our conversation and better understanding that he has a strong relationship with diamond vendors (which opens up the ability to get quality diamonds), his overall years of experience (he is a Master Gemologist) and the fact that they can do everything in house - these were the final pieces that sealed the deal.  The following steps - After getting an agreement signed, the diamond chosen and the details of what I was interested in for the setting completed, it was a matter of walking through each step of the process together to make sure we would meet the deadline.  I was about ten days out from my plan to propose, and I forgot to tell Koorosh that I was going to be traveling to Texas to do the proposal seven days from that point. Therefore, it was imperative to make sure he knew that we had one week to finalize everything (diamond creation, appraisal, insurance, and final product shipping). I would say that this was when Koorosh shined the most because not only did the ring come five days from that point, but it looked better than I could have ever imagined.  Conclusion: The proposal was a success! What has made it even better is the reaction of all of our friends and family as to how amazing the ring is. Koorosh is amazing. He designed my wife's engagement ring almost 8 years ago, so when I had another diamond ring to design, I went to him. He spends a great deal of time learning about your family, your taste in jewelry, your personal style, etc. and the result is always outstanding. I was repurposing a family heirloom diamond into a ring for myself, and he sat down and talked to me about everything from my grandfather's military background to my tattoos, and managed to work it all into the design of the ring to make a really special piece. After visiting many of the shops on Wabash, and kept walking past Wedding Bands & Co and one day we finally stopped in. To our surprise they had a ring in their display case which had an antique design that matched my engagement ring perfectly! We were impressed with the quality they had to offer. Most of the rings we had seen were hollowed out to save on the gold, however at Wedding Bands & Co there were no hallowed out rings. You pay for what you get, and if you want quality then you will have to pay for it however jewlery is an investment for life. Wedding Bands & Co fixed my "un-fixable" vintage Gucci timepiece! The Gucci timepiece, model 1100-L, has long been discontinued & was a gift to me from my mother over a decade ago. My mother wore it for many years when I was a child. She finally gave up on the watch when jeweler after jeweler had an extremely difficult time replacing the watch battery. My mother was actually told by a jeweler to, "Never bring the Gucci timepiece in again for repair." The timepiece has been sitting dormant in a safe place ever since she gave it to me. My fiance picked the ring (which is lovely) but I had the opportunity to add to the design by creating my own wedding band. After cruising up and down Wabash for my idea (I coined the phrase "bagel ring" for these guys) I was frustrated that my concept didn't exist. And we hadn't gone into Wedding Rings & Co previously because I thought it'd be totally out of our price range. And it wasn't. It was slightly more than the other rings we were looking at, but to design a unique ring that they create, that's an heirloom piece that will have such a great story to it, it's worth an extra couple hundred dollars. Reginald was our salesman. Polite, knowledgeable and timely. He always called when he said he would and followed up with emails, etc. And Koorosh literally drew up my idea as I sat before him. When they created the CAD and wax, it was everything I'd imagined my ring to be. When we got the ring (not longer than a month after we walked in the door) it needed one small adjustment. Reginald and staff were extremely accommodating and had it fixed within three days. Aside from wedding rings/bands, they have countless other pieces of jewelry that have a classic, timeless appeal. Wait...there's no such thing as 0-stars? I initially contacted Wedding Bands & Co. for both a center stone and a ring. Jim followed-up with me within 24 hours of my online request, which was great. During the time he was contacting vendors for stones to show me and the time we had scheduled an appointment, I found the stone elsewhere. Who only shops around at one place for such a thing?! I IMMEDIATELY called Jim to give him a heads up (prior to our appointment) and to let him know that I am now only in the market for a ring. I told him my budget for the ring and asked him, point blank, whether or not that was feasible. I told him that I didn't want to waste either one of our times. He said, "Of course we can make it work." Fast forward to the date of our appointment: Jim passive-aggressively brought up the fact that we found the stone somewhere else about three different times. Some of the "memorable" comments: "My manager said to me, 'Jeez, how fast do you have to move? She found a stone within an hour of speaking to you?'" and "It's okay that you found it somewhere else. We're just happy for any business you give us." Normally I would have been annoyed, but I just shrugged the comments off because I already told him what the budget was and specifically told him that if he couldn't do it, that was fine with me (there are plenty of other places to get a ring). So, we found a ring we liked and he said that he would have a rendering to me within a week. A week goes by, I call him to touch base and he says that he's "trying to figure out a way to open up the base of the ring while staying within budget." He assured me that he would be in touch within another 2-3 days. I called him again and got the same response. That was the last time I reached out to him and he has never followed-up with me since. If someone tells you flat out what their budget is and you don't think you can do it, don't waste their time by telling them you can and then just leave them hanging. Why waste my time (and yours) by stringing me along on a job you can't complete?! HIGHLY annoyed and flabbergasted that my "don't want to waste your time" plan did NOTHING. Maybe next time I should give him a fake budget and string HIM along. SMH. read more

I was in Chicago this past weekend for a convention, and I needed to get my rings cleaned - they were dull and starting to itch me. Koorosh was so pleasant, and pointed out that the plating on my white gold rings needed to be redone (it had actually been about 6 years since I'd last done it, and you're supposed to have it done 1 x year). It only took about 30 minutes, and they let me plug in my cell phone while I waited. My rings look beautiful, and people were commenting on them all weekend! While I waited I also looked through Koorosh's portfolio. He's designed some very beautiful and ornate rings for various celebrities around Chicago. He was so friendly, and we talked about how he came to the US (fascinating story!), and showed me photos of his wife and child. Bottom line...I'm not sure what is up with some other reviews about staff being rude, but I did not experience that. They were willing to clean my rings for free, and would not have been rude if I decided not to do the rhodium plating. In the end I spent $75 and was treated like I was spending 75K.
