This just felt nostalgic and perfect to me. From the ads on the coffee mugs, to the friendly but busy breakfast servers, to the constant coffee refills, no-frills space, and lots of locals, it definitely hit on one of the experiences I was hoping to have in a town like Bartlesville. The food was very good. I had scrambled eggs, a biscuit, some ham and hash browns. Everything was exactly as you'd expect - such familiar comfort-food I was instantly transported back to a simpler time in my life. Our little girl enjoyed her pancake and OJ, and the service was perfect. Here was the best part. Six of us showed up at around 10A last Saturday. After we'd been seated for about ten minutes and had placed our orders, four more from our group (who were staying at a different hotel) made their way in - unbeknownst to us. Now it was a busy Saturday, and they didn't have to do this, but they pulled a table over so we could all sit together. Is there anything better in the world than a breakfast server who - in all of her hectic morning and mind swimming with all that everyone needs from her - will go out of her way to accommodate the needs of the customers. Ah, Weeze's. As a lifetime resident of Bartlesville, I've been here many a time. First the ups: It's open EARLY! So whether it's an early school function, a romantic early breakfast, or because you're finishing up an all-nighter...Weeze's is there for you. The waitresses are INCREDIBLY nice and accomodating. Really, their slogan is something like "where friends are family". It's true, they treat you like real people and all the little old ladies and gentlemen get hugs and inquiries about their new grandchildren. Adorable. The prices are grand, especially for the college student budget. WOO! The downs. The food is simply mediocre, but as mentioned above...it's cheap! You get what you pay for. So while I've definitely had better breakfast, I've paid a lot more for it, too. Take that for what you will. read more

Weeze's reminded me of eating a friend's mom's cooking as a kid. You hide food under your napkin because although it tastes bad, you appreciate the effort. The kitchen at Weeze's just can't make good food. It's an interesting place, and they seem to have plenty of regulars. Good for them. read more

Went for breakfast with the family and thought we'd give this local stop a try. The place was packed! Lots of older community members were enjoying a relaxing morning, but some families were enjoying themselves as well. It didn't take long for us to get seated, but the group behind us waited much longer. The restaurant is a bit on the small side, but works hard to use the space effectively. The food is alright -classic Americana with skillets, omlets, waffles, and the like. There was nothing spectacular about anything we ordered. Your able to substitute fruit for a side, for an extra fee. I requested no jalapenos in my supreme skillet. Looks like the chef removed the green bell peppers instead. :-( Overall the experience was alright. Nothing spectacular. Not sure if come back but I wouldn't make a point of abiding it either. read more

One of my favorite places in Bartlesville for Breakfast and Lunch. Daily Lunch specials for under $7, my favorite is the Catfish on Fridays. Grill or fried with 2 sides and bread, my preference is grilled. The breakfasts are good too, I like the biscuits and gravy with a couple eggs. The service is fast and friendly. They open early and close after lunch so don't be late!. I'm a fan of this place because of the friendly service and cheap prices. read more

Oh Weeze's. What haven't you done for any high school student? I used to come here many many many times when I was a Bville student. At the time they were one of the few places which served coffee early. They have really good service and a really nice return clientele from what I can see. They are also very cheap, which is a pro when you're a poor student looking for a place to sit. However, the food is less than excellent. Their coffee is pretty bad (I'm spoiled) and though their plates of food are large and greasy, it's not much more than greasy average food. If you're looking for fine dining, pass this place. However, I like Weeze's and would recommend it to any high school or college student looking for a diner. read more

Placed an order for a bacon cheese burger and tater tots to go but received only a cheeseburger. The burger was under seasoned a bit but it's better than being way too salty in my opinion. The bun was toasted just the way I like it. The burger was delicious and the tater tots as well. Everyone was very friendly and greeted me when I entered the door. We walked out of the Inn at Price Tower on our final day in Bartlesville, and decided to walk toward downtown to find a breakfast diner. As if on queue, we saw 4 firemen go into a glass door up ahead--we figured at this early hour they must be going for breakfast. Sure enough, we followed them into this cozy little joint called Weeze's Cafe. The streets were practically empty at this early hour on Sunday, but inside, Weeze's was hopping--and it was packed! Comfort food in a downtown diner atmosphere. The waitresses are great and service is fantastic. It is definitely a place the locals seem to gather. The other morning I saw a millionaire rancher in the same dining room with downtown business owners, Bartlesville movers and shakers, penniless college students, and people from every walk of life. The environmental flavor is always the same: the rich and poor enjoying a great breakfast while watching Bartlesville family members from every decade, coming and going, yelling 'howdy' across the room, sometimes a handshake, but everybody sooner or later knowing everybody in the room. The sausage is the best in town, the eggs are made to order, and of course, the biscuits and gravy are also the best in town. My wife, a friend, and myself came to this place when visiting osage hills state park. Upon arriving we seen people standing outside so we were like this could be good. Then after further investigation people were standing outside do to the size of the place and the amount of noise their was. After reviewing the menu a waitress takes our drink order and comes back with drinks fairly quickly. Then darts off 20 minutes later another woman comes by and asked "did she take your order yet?" No we said and then she proceeds to tell us that they only served breakfast on the weekend so we just hurry and place a breakfast order in fear she may not come back. I will say that after reviewing the menu it did state that it was only breakfast on weekends. This place reminds me of an older persons coffee shop. Takes forever to get your food and its mediocore at best. Wouldnt suggest this place to anyone thats had good food. read more

Weeze's gets HUGE points for being open early on a Saturday morning when a friend and I traveling in Bville wanted something other than fast food for breakfast. We were quickly seated, and identified our choices. When I gave my order, the waitress told me about a similar board special I couldn't see from our table, saving me money. The coffee is what I expect at a diner, the food was relatively fast and hot, and pretty darned good for a diner. I was considering giving Weeze's a 5, but the food did take a bit longer to get to our table than desired (probably because I ordered a pork chop, and it was cooked through), and it wasn't the best of what I've had at diners, but it hit the spot, was abundant, made us happy, and the service is just stellar. I will be back when I return to Bartlesville. Weeze's is a small town diner, nothing more, nothing less, but it was exactly what we wanted for breakfast; I can't comment on other meals. read more
