Great food store ... sample stations everywhere.

I love Wegmans. I find their selection and service excellent. I go shopping here at least twice a week for my needs and have never been disappointed. I was looking for tarragon and couldn't find any. Best grocery store in the area.. They always have what I need and plenty of it. The staff is friendly and will go above and beyond to help me find the smallest things. I recommend downloading their app from the Apple Store as this tells what aisles products are located in. You sync it to your store location and it's like a personal assistant. You can also store your membership card and make shopping lists on the app. This location has an extensive collection of craft beers as well. I'm from PA and it's nice to get the stuff I get when I'm back home. read more

I love Wegmans ! They have the most obscure products you could need. I love the variety and customer service. Today when I went shopping I dropped laundry detergent and it leaked on some groceries. They cleaned in up, went and got me replacement items and even apologized to me (even thought it was my fault). Couldn't ask for anything more! read more

I have a Giant, a Bloom, and a Shoppers within 5 minutes of my home...and yet I get on I-95 and drive 15 minutes to do my food shopping at Wegman's. It's heaven in a grocery cart. read more

I go grocery shopping here every week. Love it! They have all the speciality foods I need for the gluten free diet I have with reasonable prices compared to surrounding stores in the area. When I have had problems with produce or meat, I have returned and exchanged them with no problems. Sometimes I haven't even had the receipt. I highly recommend them! read more

The store itself seems nice and clean, but I've given the hot/cold section two tries and been disappointed each time. The selection is pretty poor if you're not into greasy, salty, fried fare, and among the foods that looked appealing, almost all of them were either underseasoned or badly seasoned. For the price they charge, I feel like things should be a lot better. read more

The greatest grocery store ever!! Wegmans has a massive selection of cool and fun foods. You can trust them to have hard to find items as well has all the organic specialty foods you could want. I love the bakery because of the fresh pretzel rolls. Wegmans is a good spot for dinner too! They have a really great grill that serves made to order foods that are always badass as well as a good selection of wine and beer. Speaking of which, the wine and beer selection is massive and they have the best prices in town. GO NOW!!! read more

For an Army girl, it is amazing to see fresh produce that lasts longer than 2 days. Military families know the Commissary produce is pretty sad. But, Wegmans is pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I have only truly shopped two times...in the past two days. Their produce is amazing. My kids love all the fresh fruits and veggies there! Not to mention the cheese, wine and meat section. I am in heaven. As I have told everyone else I need to get a job there in order to support my new obsession. read more

Technically proficient, but lacking.... Pros: -Lots of lanes open -They have hard to find items -Two Redbox machines -There name brand stuff is actually pretty good -Prepared meals Cons: -When it comes to the basic items, they don't have as good of a variety. It's about on par with Food Lion. -Weak sales. I can't ever remember going to Wegman's and saying to myself "they had a good sale this week". -Pricey -The stuff in the bakery department sure looks really good. And some of it is really good, BUT I have often found myself disappointed. Plus, there bakery stuff cost an arm and a leg. Safeway has my favorite bakery in the Woodbridge area. -No one has ever been rude to me. The staff is pleasant, but something seems off. For better or worse, it's like the staff really doesn't have a personality. And I've never had an experience at this location that made me think that the staff went the extra mile for me. read more

So big, it's overwhelming. And too often the employees don't know where to direct my inquiries. I prefer, for gourmet shopping the more manageable Balducci's, combined with shopping for basics at Safeway, Giant & Whole Foods...and Trader Joe's. read more

I don't visit the Wegmans as much as I want to. When I go I mostly go eat rather than to shop. The freshly baked breads there are so good and the sushi bar is excellent in that they will make any roll you request. My favorite is the salmon, avocado, cucumber with brown rice. The desserts are wonderful to look at as well as eat! I also like the extensive drink choices they have, imported sodas, organic teas, etc. The prices seem a bit a bit high but I don't mind because the food is fresh and healthy. read more

I've been shopping here since the store opened and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and busy. There is always plenty of cashiers at the registers. The food is always fresh, brand name goods taste great and are reasonably priced, good selection of organic foods. I stop in most weeks for lunch and the food is delicious and hot. Food selection is great. I am so glad this Wegman's is so near my way. It is relaxed and wonderful. My little one and I go there for breakfast and can relax upstairs for a quiet one on one time until she runs off to the flat screen with Nickelodeon on. We then can go off to shop! They have all the foods you could possibly need for your culinary needs. I would go to Shoppers, Giant, or Safeway but never do they have all the cheeses and meats that recipes call for. I am from Rochester, New York where the Wegman's there was good but nothing like this one. When we found out they had built one around here we had to check it out. This place is huge. We have been coming here since they built it. We love the pizza and the sub stations. The bakery makes the best muffins I've ever had in my life. The store is pretty pricey, but they usually have foods that you cant find in your average grocery store. We went there yesterday to buy food for our cookout, they had truffles for $999. That was ridiculous, but I have never seen anything like that in these other grocery stores. read more

Wegmans is by far my favorite grocery store. They offer a huge variety of healthy foods and fresh produce, and their prices are very competitive. Even if there are other stores closer to you, drive right on past them and head to Wegmans. You won't be disappointed. read more

I don't need to write a review for this place, everyone by now should know that this is not only the best grocery store in the area but they have great management because I have never seen such caring workers in all departments! One time walking around I was joking with a friend about something expiring [that hasn't to do with the produce at wegmans] yet the auditor stopped and asked me "did you say something was expired?" without hesitation, wow! Another incident was when I was at the cheese department asking for a taste on something rather expensive, instead of turning me away immediately the worker did ask if i could taste and was enthusiastic about assisting me with whatever I needed without having an attitude. The associates at the pizza department are also very attentive, last time I tried to order a pizza it was rather complicated but they came through with exceptional service. Lastly, the cashiers are always cheerful and engage in conversation even if they're a little tired. One cashier even remembered me after a few visit and asked me how my diet was going after noticing my last purchases. Let's face it, stores in the area can be a little ghetto for lack of a better term! But Wegmans always remains high end while being affordable. From services like helping hands to maintaining a great staff, they've earned all these stars. While my only complain is how pricey their 'hot bar' and meat are, I'll definitely coming back. read more

This is the best grocery store! Best selection, their hot food bar is amazing, excellent customer service, bathrooms are always clean, and they give free samples! Some stuff is a bit expensive but it's worth it! I really love how friendly the associates are. You don't see that at grocery stores anymore. Every time I needed help, they are happy to lend a helping hand. When I am in the area around lunchtime, this is my place to eat! They have a little bit of everything in their hot food bar! I love Wegmans!! Not just this one, but as a company. In roughly 6 years I have only run into one Wegmans employee who didn't seem to be in her happy place. I'm not sure what they put in the kool-aid in this place, but they should bottle it. Incredibly helpful, will actually "ask" if they can help you. I love to just walk the aisles in this store and will frequently bring home the $6 meal for dinner. Large servings to share and an incredible wine and bakery selection. The coconut cake alone is worth the trip and the music seems to always be good. read more

Wegman has everything you could ever want and then some. Every time the cashier asks "Did you find everything you needed"? I reply, "and much much more". Delish baked goods, subs, hot and cold food bars, top-notch butcher on call meats. Wine variety for days - I especially like Fridays when they do free sampling of wines. The store is ALWAYS clean, staff are helpful, pleasant and friendly. They offer bag carriers. I cannot say enough great things about this store. BEST grocery store in the area!!! They've got it all, and what they dont have, they'll get it for you! Example: if you want a sushi roll they don't have displayed at the bar, they'll just whip it up for you while you wait (5 mins). I love this place!! Its always clean and organized! Emplyeesbarebso attentive and always around to help. I've never had to wait on a clerk or hunt down employees. I go here almost daily with my kids, not necessarily for grocery shopping but for quick snacks/lunch since they offer an amazing bakery section and buffet dining and a great deli area. They have tons of seating upstairs and my kids love the tv and train table up there...they also love the moving train and tracks above the dairy aisle. They have a great selection of organic and vegetarian items. Prices are pretty good for the quality you get here. Produce is always great here. Love this place. And I just live the family vibe it has. They hosted a Halloween event this past October which was wonderful and they host movie nights as well for the family. Wegman's is a great grocery store and company. If it was closer I would go more frequently but it is across town for me. It is also so large that sometimes I prefer to run into a Giant or Harris Teeter to grab a couple items instead of venturing through this huge store. I do like how they have a cafeteria with buffets, pubs, sushi bar, pizza, etc; because it's never a good idea to grocery shop on en empty stomach! The only other complaint I have is that they sometimes don't have certain items/brands I prefer like yogurts and milk selections; probably because they try to push their own brand a lot -so for certain items I have to shop elsewhere. However their beer/wine selection and produce are the best in the area. read more

Wegmans is not all it is cracked up to be. The store is just okay. Way overpriced, rude workers and poorly organized for shopping. They lack variety in their day grocery section. They have a lot of registers but they never have enough open. There front end team and managers are arrogant. The store is dirty that is why they keep the lights low. The cart people are not professional and can often be seen wasting time gabbing about their personal lives, that would be okay except prices are raised just to pay for this lack of hard work. The fresh side is to cluttered so you can't get through easily. The cleanliness is disgusting when you peak over the counters. read more

I love this grocery store. The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff are extremely helpful. For example, I couldn't find the aile the rice flour was on. The staff member didn't just tell me what aile it was on he took me to the rice flour. That was just one of the many helpful experiences I have had with the wegmens staff.
