I haven't experienced any issues with this location before. Unfortunately today during the evening when I came in the entire place smelled like someone had taken a dump on the floor and it had recently been mopped. On occasion I will wait for my laundry but the smell was intense. This time I left my washing supplies by my clothes as they were being washed. When I came back they were gone. Either they were moved by the staff on shift or a local client came and took them. Keep an eye on your belongings at this laundromat. I'm hoping the laundromat returns to its normal level of cleanliness and that was just a one time occurrence. In particular, if you do happen to leave any of your materials for washing out, they are more likely to be taken during the evening shift. read more

Mixed emotions about this place. There's insufficient parking so good luck in even setting foot into this establishment. Secondly, the washers have prices listed on each machine, but upon punching in my preferences, I'm then asked for 50 additional cents. Whaaat? This is false advertising if I ever saw it. Yea, the machines are on the newer side, but so.....does that warrant being overcharged for a basic wash? Lastly, there are insufficient table folding stations. The machine to table ratio is absurd. The store is clean and the machines look new and seem to work. The machines take credit card. It looks like a nice place with some interesting kitsch for decor. They have the GIANT washers and i think its like $6 and change to run one which isn't horrible... you still have to pay for the dryer and I thought those were a little over priced. Its a small narrow place and if crowded is going to be a body traffic jam nightmare. Right now due to covid you're not allowed to fold in store. The main reason for my two stars was because the washers smelled musty. I was completely put off by how musty and mildewy the first set of washers by the front window smelled. Also parking lot is small but I always go during the week and it's perfect!!! Workers are really nice and I see them going around cleaning if there's ever a spill. They do take credit cards. Laundry machines in our complex were all occupied and really needed a reliable solution. Read the reviews and decided to give WeHo Wash a try and I was not disappointed! The facilities are clean and well maintained. It was my first time using a shared laundry space and there was an attendant there that helped me every step along the way. They have washers with varying load sizes (2,4,6) and large dryers that can handle up to 6 loads at a time with a 30 minute turn around. This was actually the least amount of time I spent doing laundry for my two peeps on household and it was right down the street. read more

This is a very clean laundromat and I love that you can use your credit or debit cards with the machines. Prices a little high but I assume it's the area. The reason my new review is only 3 stars is because this is the third time I've come in the past couple of months and two many machines and dryers not working. It's a busy laundry facility and they should make sure all machines are in working order. Some machines that were working said no hot water. They have the door propped open hotter inside then it is outside. There's no way to able to use your Apple Pay anymore you have to swipe it. this used to be an above average laundromat . When your machines are out for two weeks, you hit the local! I went yesterday morning (Saturday) around 7:30 (after reading the reviews that it can be busy on weekends) and there were maybe 2-3 people there. The woman working was SO nice (red hair). I would actually recommend waiting to come until maybe 8am? They are finishing up the drop off laundry (you'll see the names written on the machines), so that's when you should find all the machines available. It did seem to pick up a bit by 9am, but not bad. The machines range from really tiny ($3.75) to jumbo ($8.75) for wash and $1.25-1.50 for dryer (30 mins). I was able to wash/dry a big batch of towels/sheets and two dog blankets for $15. I went back around 7:30pm to do clothes. Much busier, but still able to get a machine right away. It wasn't nearly as clean and tidy as the morning, but it was fine. As a side note, I've lived in WEHO 10 years and had no idea the neighborhood has issues in the evening (see note in photos. I did encounter patrol in the parking lot at night which was good). It's almost for sure due to the liquor store next door, but they did have a big guy on staff and there were plenty of people doing laundry so it's not isolated. Overall, since I had to go elsewhere to do laundry, I'm glad it was WEHO Wash. read more

When you go to an laundromat for the first time and you get a personal tour of the place...you take notice. It's not the big guest laundromat I've ever been to but they have all the appropriate bells and whistles: wifi, free coffee, nice ambience, 4 differing sizes of machines to wash in, each machine accepts cash or credit card, drop off service (with speedy turn around service as an extra) The attendant, a gentle and sweet young man named Griff, was very helpful and although it's in the heart of WeHo, it's off the beaten path. Since I must do my laundry outside my home, I'm thinking I'll just make this is "my" laundromat now. read more

I use your facilities at 7757 Santa Monica Blvd on a weekly basis. I live just up the road on Genesee Ave. Today (June 30, 2023) around roughly 9:30am, I walked into the laundromat as I normally do. I placed my clothes in the washing machine then went down to visit Jack at the liquor store for some singles to get coins. When I came back to the laundromat, the employee on duty rudely asked if I was using the machines. I told her yes and then she demanded to see the machine I was using. Again, very rudely, as if I'd done something wrong. I told her she didn't need to give me attitude and she proceeded to scream and cuss at me. As I left the building, she called me a "little fucking bitch." Now, I can handle cuss words, but for Christ sake, I don't need to be treated like this at my local laundromat where I spend my money. I know there are cameras on location so I hope the owner will check the videos and make their own judgements. To me, what happened today was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

The laundry room in my complex was permanently closed due to homeless vandalism and I was very grateful to find this laundromat on Yelp. The facility is always clean, the machines are well maintained, large and modern. Nobody enjoys waiting in a laundromat but it's usually an interesting clientele and I always feel safe to bring a book or laptop or grab a coffee across the street. An Asian lady snarled at me After I informed her that my name was on a list for credit of six dollars and twenty five cent. After she had trouble finding it, which she eventually did she swiped her card angrily, and I told her so please smile instead of being so mean. And she told me she didn't want to smile at this point I started taping her because I thought she might go caring on me or something and so I said. Hey neighbors, the most expensive laundromat in the area has just raised their prices. Not only that, they extended the timer on ALL of the dryers to 40 minutes. It's now TWO BUCKS for 40 minutes. After 30 minutes on the medium setting, clothes are completely dry (save maybe a couple of items in the load, but for the most part DRY). After 40 minutes, you can bet everything will be crispy and overcooked. This place is outrageous. I'm currently digging around for a new place to go, even if I have to drive a few blocks out of the way. read more

So i moved into WeHo recently, and just like to get my laundry done in under an hour, vs. doing it all day.. So I looked for a place close, I live off Fountain, I found this place and is very very clean. It's really important that businesses clean and sanitize heavy traffic areas. And that is exactly why they do here, like every 20 min. I just was there doing laundry today 3/25/2020 and Erwin, who is so cute by the way!! (This is me Quarantine flirting) He cleaned machines down at least 5 times while I was there, he mopped the floor multiple times. Cleaned the handles of the front door, and also was wearing a mask! They do have fluff and fold, it's cheap, less than 2$ per Lb. And I saw Erwin folding and, he knows how to do laundry!! (Wait... am i flirting again.) DONT BRING YOUR FLUFF & FOLD HERE! The team made a massive Mistake by mixing my fluff and fold order with someone else's fluff and fold order. I had to bring the other clients clothes back while also trusting that the other client was bringing back my clothes as well. I never got a lot of my things back, including the laundry detergent. Listen, i'm a very kind person that understands that people make mistakes but not one person has called me back with any type of apology or any type of discount or reimbursement. It's been a month of me calling and leaving messages and trying to get in touch with someone that owns this business or manages this business. NOT ONE PERSON HAS CALLED ME BACK. One of the most expensive wash houses in the city. Large washers are 5.50 if you use hot water they become 6.00. The change machine was out of order so you have to use your credit card or Debit card to use the machines. The attendant that is on duty was very rude. We visited this laundromat under suggestion from our neighbor after our building's laundry ruined several of my delicates. I was wary about going at first - Covid, the hassle of driving my laundry and waiting in the car- But I gave it a go and I can now confidently say that Weho wash has a customer for life. Joyce was so lovely and explained the various machines available to us -- two, three, four and six loads -- She even gave our dog a treat and watched the machines for us while we walked him. We went on a Monday morning and it was not crowded. Everyone wore masks and the place was spotless. The machines all work with credit cards, a game changer with the coin shortage during the pandemic. Each wash is 25 minutes (yes even the six loader) and the drier is 30 minutes. You can add another 30 minutes right away as you start it (no need to wait and see if your clothes are damp) and that dried my six loader no problem. As I said, customer for life! read more

The medium washer (claiming it takes 4 loads each, they are overly optimistic on size/capacity ) is $6.25. We had 2.5 hampers of clothes. That took 3 washers ($18.75) and two dryers - add another $4. Might have been lass for drying, BUT Super Warm/ Hot setting is not all that hot. So takes longer to dry. Also, super duper small parking lot shared between 3 stores. I have been coming here for a few years and had a great experience for a while. It was convenient to be able to pay with card rather than coins. The last few months though, more than half the machines are out of order. Multiple times I've been boxed in in the tiny parking lot and had to track someone down to move their car. Well it's three years later and Weho Wash has new management and it's a completely different place. Every time I go now there's at least 5-6 machines not working and half the driers marked for use only by the employees tending to dropped off laundry. What's worse is it's not always apparent when a machine is out of order: until of course you load it and try to start it. Only then do you see the small piece of tape denoting the machine is inoperable. The bathroom door has been broken for months- they just have a rag stuck in the hole where the knob was. What a shame. The way this business used to be was so great I knew it wouldn't last. read more

Okay so I just decided to come and check out weho wash since it looked nice and had good reviews on yelp and let me say it was the best laundry mat I've ever been to. The machines seem state of the art and practically brand new, very powerful and not to mention clean. Another thing that attracted me to try it is it being centrally based in weho and let me tell you, half the crowd here seems like they will end up at Mickys later tonight lol. It's very gay friendly to say the least. They take credit cards!!! This is huge since it's such a hassle shuffling through quarters and using change machines, I'm overjoyed to just swipe my credit card, heck I'm even getting rewards points while I wash for the very first time, so awesome! So my conclusion is, if I ever have spare time I will travel the distance to come here it's not that close to home but the experience is totally worth it!! read more

Due to little more than laziness, I'd been a frequent Launderland customer for years. I thought that dealing with drug fiends, broken washers, and dirty dryers were the prices to be paid for neglecting to wash my laundry at home for weeks at a time; an inconvenience tax if you will. Not any more. Today I checked out WeHo Wash, and like Jennifer Hudson, "I'm telling you I'm not goin'" back to Launderland ever again. This place hits all the necessary must-haves a laundry avoidant like me requires: - Functioning machines - Friendly and helpful staff (come to think of it, I'm not sure Launderland has employees) that provide golf balls when drying comforters and bedding - Credit card features so you can stop getting rolls of quarters from Trader Joe's - Parking - Complimentary coffee and tea Unique, unexpected, and dog-friendly, WeHo Wash is a VERY welcomed addition to the neighborhood. If you too are laundry avoidant, bring back issues of your magazines and get caught up while your clothes get clean. read more

I'm so happy this place opened! First of all, this laundromat is so clean it shines. The brand new machines take quarters, but they also take cards so there's no need to hoard quarters anymore. There's three sizes of washing machines: 10, 20 and 30 pounds if I'm not mistaken. The 20 pound washers cost 3.50, the 10 pound washers cost 2.50. For their grand opening, they're offering to pay for your wash. There are also three sizes of dryers. The smallest costs 1.00. The medium size costs 1.25. They guarantee your clothes will be dry within 30 minutes or the staff will restart your dryer for you. They offer complimentary coffee which is pretty decent. Their machine grinds the beans fresh. They've got CNN and good music playing. I also spied a wifi network "WeHo Wash," but didn't ask if it was public. They offer fluff and fold at two speeds. When available, you can get your laundry turned around in 3 hours at 2 bucks a pound. For 1.75 per pound, they'll have it done next day. They will also offer dry cleaning services but the prices weren't listed. The place is owned by a guy named Russell and his husband. Russell is a very friendly guy who was very happy to tell me about the dryer policy. The other staff member, Brian, was also very nice and walked me through the different size washing machines. Currently, the hours are 7am to 7pm. However, the staff member said they plan on having the place open 24/7. So freaking happy to have this place nearby! read more

I'm really on the fence with this one. I have been here a few times in the last year and my experience was positive for the most part. It had been awhile since my last visit. I was in the area and my puppy was saying hi to someone at my window and got to excited and peed on me. I had other stuff to wash anyway, so figured I'd come here. So, they are trying to move to the rewards card, or use your credit card to pay at the machines, instead of using quarters. You can still use quarters, but they no longer stock their quarter machine. The coin shortage provides a good excuse I suppose. So I had to go back out and find a place to buy quarters on a Sunday. (Banks closed.) 2 hours later. And only 2 rolls of quarters. I knew wasn't going to be enough. Against my better judgement and really just not wanting to go quarter hunting again, I used my bank card to finish up. This really does solidify my resistance to giving up on the quarters. It's difficult for me to keep track of what I've spent when I'm just running the card through. So over $40 later, and the charges didn't immediately hit my account of course, and I had transferred the balance to my main account- I should have checked that the charges were there before transferring the money out.. but I didn't. And of course I got hit with the insufficient funds fee. Yay me. So now my laundry is extra expensive this time. Awesome. Obviously, I can't place all the blame on this business. That's not fair. The upside to this place is that it's clean. Most of the machines kind of work. I had issues with all of the 2 load washers. The fabric softener side was clogged. So you had to pay attention to the cycle and add it then. Not a huge deal. Just inconvenient. And then of course my preference of using quarters and they no longer supply them. Also inconvenient. The liquor store next to them is nice for drinks and snacks. And they even have nice laundry bags for sale at a fairly decent price. So I bought 2 small ones and 1 large one. If you like the idea of not messing with quarters and paying with your debit or credit card or using their reward card- than this is your place. It's clean. (Although you can't use the restroom because of covid.) The attendants are super nice. And helpful. Parking kind of sucks. But I've been able to get a spot every time somehow and not had to wait to long. I'll probably not come back to this one, and will likely go back to the 24/7 laundromat if I can remember the name. But mostly because it is inconvenient for my preferences. I feel like I spent way to much. And I realize that's probably not a logical thought. Am I just not going to do all the laundry? Or not dry it? Throw it away? I don't know. It doesn't make any sense. But I feel like I would have spent less had I been able to visualize with quarters. I'll never really know. Btw..
