THEY WRECKED MY CAR!…read more They were supposed to swap a transmission and additional parts (clutch, bearings, pressure plate and so many more) and they wrecked my car on a test drive. They hit something and the wheel went into the fender, tearing up the suspension, brake, and damage to the fender and front bumper. When I spoke to the technicians they all told me different stories on what happened. The owner is a liar (he said a ball joint broke and it caused the wheel to get into the fender while it was on the lift) and replaced the broken parts with the cheapest parts that they could find. He complained because my performance parts that they damaged were too expensive and bought the cheapest crap that now needs to be replaced. They "fixed" everything that was broken and He (the owner) told me it was running great. Picked the car up and it limped home, barely ran. Took it back and they were supposed to replace the transmission they put in with my old one because the one they put in was "bad", even though it wasn't. Went to get the car again after the owner told me it was running great. I go to pick it up and I requested that the owner rides with me. Sure enough, the car drove like shit. Goes back to the shop because "my original transmission is now bad." If you are keeping count, this is now two "bad transmissions." When I finally pick the car up, it drove like garbage. The tech that worked on my car said that they just didn't want to mess with my car anymore and never took the transmission out. This is verified because I paid close attention to the short throw shifter that was installed. I confronted the owner after the second test drive with him in the car and he repeatedly lied over and over, and then had the audacity to ask me for payment. Part two: When I originally took the car there, I had a bunch of parts that they were supposed to install, including detailed instructions on what to do. After I finally got the car back home, they didn't install half of the parts that they were supposed too. On top of that, my tan interior, including the headliner, is stained with greasy hand prints. They car came back home completely in disarray. They interior pieces where never put back together, hood upright is broken, headlight assembly is broken, front end is janky, the list goes on and on. Had to take the car the someone else and fix ALL of their mistakes. 100 percent crooks!

It is usually our family's car for transporting large or difficult loads of items. Also for transporting the dogs, which shed a lot. But, as we were expecting our first child and needed a car that could fit the whole family, we trusted My Baby. And boy did they deliver! The baby has come and it's a girl, btw. I scheduled an impromptu detail with Josh while in town after just purchasing the car. I got lucky and they squeezed me in which I was grateful for. The pricing was slightly more than competitors in the area after calling around. The SUV was rough with extremely heavy dust and dog hair. My biggest concern was the interior, however I did elect to do a hand wash. The time table promised was by 5 PM close. That allowed them four hours work. They offer a clean and comfortable waiting area with complimentary drinks and snacks. Also FREE WiFi. If you get hungry there is also a Domino's pizza in the adjoining building. A restroom is located in the rear had proper supplies and was clean. Also if you need a ride they offer a courtesy shuttle. I received a status from Josh around 4 PM that things were progressing well and it may be done earlier than expected, but no promises, Josh is the front end counter sales guy that does it all. With squeezing my car in a tight schedule he pitched in himself. At approximately 430 the car was approaching final touches of a hand wash. I paid with a credit card and was told I would have the opportunity to review my detail for total satisfaction prior to departure. With the understanding we are all human and can miss something, I also met the owner at the end of the day who was actively somewhat involved my detail. At 4:40 I was escorted to the shop for inspection and walk thru with two employees. We discussed the cars history and methods they used to clean. The car was restored to original 2017 factory, it was amazing. I am picky and found a few minor things they gladly addressed. I offered a tip which they gratefully accepted. I am thrilled at the level of professionalism the staff exhibited during my service. My Baby is the only detail shop I would ever use in Indy and I fully recommend.

A week ago, I brought my car in during the recent heat wave to have the A/C compressor clutch…read morereplaced. My A/C was still blowing cold--the clutch was just squealing, and I couldn't stand the noise anymore. I supplied the replacement part myself, and after giving them my vehicle's year, make, model, and engine information, I was quoted $520 for the installation and refrigerant recharge. I agreed to the price and dropped the car off. The next day, they called and said there would be an additional charge because they "weren't aware" of the type of refrigerant my car uses. This was frustrating because they had all of my vehicle information before I even brought it in. Suddenly, the new price was $750. I told them I needed some time to think about it and would call them back. About 5-10 minutes later, they called again and said the compressor clutch bolt was seized and that I would need an entirely new compressor. My options were either to replace the compressor or have them reinstall my old one. No pricing was discussed during this call, so I told them to just put my original compressor back on. A few hours later, I called to see if my car was ready, and they acted like it had been sitting there waiting for me. Then they told me the bill was $390. They eventually agreed to $300 cash, but here's the problem: my A/C worked when I brought the car in, and now it doesn't work at all because they evacuated the refrigerant and never recharged it. I understand to an extent paying for labor. But charging me $300 after leaving my car in worse condition than when I dropped it off is unacceptable. Their labor rate is $130 per hour, and the timeline of the phone calls doesn't seem to support three hours of labor. A little understanding, detailed communication, & customer service would have gone a long way. Instead, they earned $300, a one-star review, and lost a repeat customer.

Nevertheless, I took the truck over to Generations and had them take a look. The gave me a fair quote and scheduled the work. When I got the truck back it looked like brand new again! They fixed the cosmetic hurt I put on it and then washed the truck and vacuumed the inside! Also, they quoted me 3 days and got it done in 2. All around I'm really impressed by their operation and am glad to know they exist for any future needs. Highly recommend!
