I took my car here after i was crashed into from the rear. i paid $1,050 to paint match and get a new bumper. not only does it look like shit they put it on with plastic and it doesnt even line up with the rest of the car and can see noticeable buldges from the plastic . they also just left it unfinished and didnt put any trim around my wheels. i feel very unsatisfied with this as you guys have a 4.9 star review. i took this around february and have looked at it in disgust since. but i cant sell it as i have no other option. so thank you for all the terrible work you and your company stand for. read more

I went in to remove my old license plates. Everything from the moment you walk in the shop is amazing. The service, the politeness and professionalism was all there. When I received the call and went to get my car I was just so amazed, Austin went above and beyond. My car was cleaned inside and out. I would never recommend anyone to Walters body Shop! I took my Cadillac CT6 there on Dec 8 after being in a not at fault hit and run car accident. I have been here before and had several people recommend them to me including the insurance adjuster that knew Austin by name and we raved about him to each other! I went to pick up my car after being called and told it was completed and ready... it looked horrible! a huge dime size chunk of paint missing on running board, reflector light not replaced, chrome trim not replaced, you could still see the scratches next to where the reflector is, paint scuffs in door jam from the flat bar they used to get my door to open and close properly without causing more damage while I waited for the 1st available appointment 3 weeks out! These are all things that were approved and being paid on the total repair cost with a supplement claim (already paid on) was almost $6,000 and the work was worse then backyard garage shops!! The accident date was Oct 30 and now its Jan 1, 2026 and I still don't have my car back and the only explanation Austin could give was we thought it was dirt (my car was clean when I dropped it off and why wouldn't you wipe it off its in the heart of the location of the repairs you are doing!) he says: sorry its not like we did this to upset you... I will get the parts (that were paid for) ordered and go over it before we give you a call to come and pick it up (ME: well thank you for not doing this horrible job to upset me and if my name was all over this shop and town I would go over EVERYTHING that goes out before I call and tell someone the job is complete!!) .... and his name was the name that signed off on it being Perfect and Complete.. I don't think I will be satisfied when its finally done....I hope the repairs and paint are perfect like it should have been to begin with but I still will never go back and I will be letting everyone know about the horrible repair and paint job along with the lack of care for my time, money, feelings, and property!!! and to top it off they contacted the insurance company stating it was complete and ready so the rental car company is charging my on file credit card daily for the rental car I don't even want to be driving or like! And yes I have LOTS OF PICTURES of the whole process before accident, day of accident, day of drop off to shop, day of 1st attempt to pick up and will be getting pics of next attempt to pick up!!!!! read more

I'm not the guy who goes body shop to body shop looking for the cheapest price. Of course I like to save a few dollars when I can but when it comes to the safety of my family, I want to make sure it's done right! We moved to Greenwood 2 years ago. Needing the work done on my FJ Cruiser, I talked to friends of mine who've lived in the community for decades. "Walters" came up in more than one conversation. I did my due diligence reading reviews and decided to check them out. From my first impression to my last, nothing was "RUSH RUSH HURRY HURRY," it was always, "LET'S DO IT RIGHT!" With the reasonable quote I received I had them do the work which cost around $1600. My friends and reviews were spot on! They did an OUTSTANDING job. There was absolutely zero evidence they'd even done any work! No buffing wax in the cracks/grooves. No burned paint. Not even any swirl marks which isn't the easiest to pull off in a black vehicle My wife recently was in a minor fender bender. Where am I going? Walters of course. read more

Walters did repair work on our vehicle and we were very satisfied with their work. They repainted the hood where pebbles from construction had left chops in the paint. The hood looked like new again. Their estimate was reasonable. Would highly recommend them for body work, and will use them again if we need future work. read more

I took my truck here due to it being hit in the left rear quarter panel. While they had the vehicle I had them replace/repaint the front bumper and fender flares since the paint was chipping on these items. They painted the parts the incorrect color and then they missed several spots once they were able to figure out the correct color. I had to take my vehicle back to Austin (Manager) six times before it was it was close to correct. It's still not perfect but I'm tired of dealing with these people and taking time off work to take my vehicle back each time. read more

I was a customer of this body shop and was happy and satisfied with the work done by this body shop. I would recommend this body shop to anyone in Greenwood/Indianapolis area/Indiana state who is involved in a collision or just looking for a repair to fix their car/vehicle. I was recently involved in a minor collision and obtained a quote from another body shop and this body shop saved me about $150. The whole cost of my repair was only about $550, but since they saved me about $150, I am prompted to write this review. Prior to visiting this body shop, I got a quote for a higher amount from another body shop. The reason for a higher quote from the other body shop was that they suggested to me to replace parts that actually did not require replacement. Unlike other body shops that are owned by corporations who you do not know the owners, this body shop is a family owned business. The best part is that the owner of this body shop is an auto mechanic himself and is the one that will look at the vehicle and will give you the quote, so, he knows what parts need replacement and what parts do not need replacement and can be fixed. If any old part can be fixed and does not require replacement with a new part, he will suggest to fix the old part instead of replacement with a new part and save you some money. That's what happened in my case. In other large body shops, in most cases, the person who looks at your vehicle and gives you quote i.e. the person at the front desk or in the administrative office, and the person who works on your vehicle i.e. auto mechanic, who usually stays in the body shop, could be different. If people who are not auto mechanics give you quotes like it happened in my case at the other body shop, there is a possibility they will suggest to you to replace old parts (with a new part) that probably do not require replacement, and consequently, a higher cost for you to fix/repair your vehicle. If you need to fix/repair your vehicle, I would highly recommend this body shop. If you live/work in the area, this body shop is worth a visit. Ask for the owner to look at your car/vehicle and get the quote from him; he will also give you explanation of the charges on your quote and that's another plus. As of the day of this review, his son is attending a local university and also works there in the front office. Please note that I am not in any way related to this body shop.
