    My wife went by while I was at work and they produced my glasses. I would like to keep my current 1 star rating. They still suck.

    Nice New high priced store but the sales rep needs restoration. I was met at the door with proper…read moregreeting but quality service ended there. Rep made it crystal clear that it's all about the $$$. She exuded a just buy and go vibe that instantly made me question why I might spend hundreds of dollars at LensCrafters (LC). I browsed the inventory which was nice. I noticed that the prices for some of the same frames where higher than those at VisionWorks. LC had more models of each brand but again, they are priced much higher. When I asked about price matching the snob said "That's Them" smirked and walked away. I browsed the inventory noting the model #s of frames that I liked and politely left. I did see frames that were also available at VisionWorks. So again, I compliment the nice shiny new store and remind LC that presentation is important but customer service is crucial (especially in today's economy). I got my exam at VisionWorks and planned on filling my prescription at LC because that's were I purchased my last pair of glasses (when LC was in the mall). I may have made the purchase at LC, if not for the lil snob they have on the showroom floor. So LC HiHo, NoGo back to VisionWorks goes My Dough. I 'm sure that I'm just one of many that has encountered this individual. You got a nice new store but your rep needs to be upgraded. I'd rather enjoy a burger at Mickey D's than pay top dollar to be snubbed at a so-called nice restaurant. My stars reflect the service, not the facility!

    Waldorf vision wks sucks even during the snow Myesha & her staff had clients waiting way too long…read morebbb & yelp customer reviews also the one near Wegmans Towne Center. 2nd unacceptable the Lab located in Texas. The Vision wks in Waldorf gets a 1 star the lab gets a zero star rating because as a paying customer no one irregardless to weather conditions should never have to wait as long as I did on the phone or by mail visionwks lab sucks. Frances Greenhill Johnson ps I had to file a complaint because of how poor customer Svcs I recvd Order placed in Jan 2026 & March nothing has been recvd is unacceptable. The 1st visit in Brandywine the young lady added many features without sharing the costs only to recv a bill for 700.00 however I did like the frames. But the 90 day return policy was definitely used & returned. I will from now on use My Eye Dr as they just lost a client, they need better customer Svcs and the Mgr said it's the lab I don't care who is responsible I'm out!

After 25 awkward minutes trying to help him, help ME to find my vision insurance benefits and his energy having my thinking about just leaving, so that I could order glasses, I gave up and just asked to have my prescription printed. I was calling my insurance, telling him what to search to find me, the whole 9. He hands me off to another tall young man - who - during my last visit was too busy asking me a bunch of unrelated questions about myself while I'm giving him this blank stare, and being too friendly to the point where I had to tell him "hey, I'm just trying to order some contacts" and he messed up my order - shipping it to the store versus my house) Do you know this whole time he didn't bother to see that both RXs just expired 2 ago. What a waste of time. When I came in, he didn't even acknowledge me there when I was the only person in the store until I said something to him asking who should I call to help me, and I truly think he was even more so happy when I left.

Unbeknownst to me the Mall doesn't open until 11am now (as opposed to formerly opening at 9:30a). I parked outside JC Penney (which is the closest entrance now that SEARS is closed down. When the Mall opened and JC Penney opened their doors I entered. JC Penney didn't open their doors that lead into the Mall so I had to leave the store, drive to another entrance where I could enter the Mall. I arrived at the store at 11:12a and was told that I missed my 10 minute grace period because they were using a "remote optometrist" who was servicing this store as well as other stores simultaneously (I have no idea how I was going to do a remote eye exam but ...) and needed reschedule. I explained what happened with trying to enter the Mall and was told that's not their problem. I have been coming here every year for an annual exam since having my lasik surgery in 2010 and feel that ANY customer should be treated much better than this. The front desk guy was very condescending and when I told him I'd just make an appointment somewhere else his response was "That's fine. Have a nice day". They have lost a customer in ME as well as my entire family who use this location!!!

    f/u is awful. i had an eye exam for contacts on march 15th. got that done with them no problem…read more told by doctor trial lenses would be ordered and once they come in i would be called. may take a minute to arrive as i do have a high prescription/bad vision. april comes around so i f/u to get status of my trial lenses. the lady who picked up the phone says to me she's not sure if they have been ordered so she will reorder trial contact lenses and will call me when they come in. here we are in june, suppossedly they are having phone problems so i called twice to leave a message for a response. i still have not heard back from them. it should not take this long and no return call. i was a longtime customer but not anymore!!!

    NEW COMPANY RUNNING BJS OPTICAL. THEY STINK! I've been a BJs member for many years and have gotten…read moreseveral pairs of glasses through BJs Optical in Waldorf, MD without any problems. My most recent experience with them was terrible. When I called in to ask about pricing I was told by a man called Safi that BJs Optical was now run by a new company and that I was going to love the prices. Over the phone he gave me prices for various options of progressive lenses and told me there was also a 33% discount on top of that. When I went in to pick out frames Safi was there. He gave me the same prices as over the phone but now told me those prices included the 33% discount. I didn't like that, but went ahead. As we discussed various options for quality of lens and options, the prices and features seemed to change from minute to minute. One minute a price included a certain option, and then when I was interested in it, the price no longer included that option. He said I was misremembering. I wasn't. I did not feel good about the process, but I went ahead and ordered glasses because I had found frames I liked and have always had a good experience with BJs Optical before.Ten days later, I went in to pick up my glasses and was very disappointed. The reflections on the lenses from lights in the store were terrible, annoying little flares and ghosts floating in front of my eyes. When I complained, Safi said maybe I should have gotten the anti-reflective coating. I showed him my current glasses - from BJs Optical a few years ago, which don't have the anti-reflective coating either. They have no annoying reflections. I've never gotten the coating before on a pair of glasses and never had a problem. It was clear to me that these lenses were of inferior quality. I asked for my money back. Only when I started to get really angry, did Safi call the manager and refund my money. I went right to another optician and ordered glasses from them. I won't be going back to BJs Optical any time soon, and I feel like my BJs membership is now less valuable than it was before.
