Lettuce celebrate lunchtime with this cute little coffee/sandwich/pastry shop. Super quirky and the service was really nice. I will say the wait is a little long. The sandwich was good but I would have appreciated the bread to be a little more toasted and less buttery. I had butter all over my hands, it was excessive. Also maybe slice the veggies a little thinner to make each bite easier. I ordered the vanilla rose tea but I have to say it didn't taste like it. They did say that they're preparing an outdoor seating area which I think is a good idea. The decor inside is nice, showcasing local artist work. I will need to go back and try their pastries.

Interesting menu. This black flag is tasty and I love the fresh jalapenos. The purple Ube sugar cookie was good. Looking forward to trying the other items. It would make it easier if the menu was posted instead of just at the order window

I come here for the vegan sausage sammich and it's pretty tasty! Slim pickings for any vegan type breakfast foods around here, at least there's this place.

Whether I'm in the mood for a great burger, my favorite fries in town, chicken-fried steak, a club sandwich, or their homemade onion rings, they never disappoint. My wife had the Frito Pie, the chili was not spicy which was good but very dry so it was not very appetizing and almost tasted like eating paste. I had Mea Maw meatloaf and it had a heavy tomato base in it, no gravy came with it you would have too ask for it. The fries were warm thought asking for no salt I would get hot fries but found out when checking out they do not season their fries at all. Green beans were very good and served hot. They take cash or checks only, there is an ATM at the front door. They serve drinks in very large styrofoam cups have to be at least 32 OZ's as a minimum They were very busy that is for sure they have a very robust lunch crowd. Will have to think about stopping in again in the future. Many southern classics on the menu, gator, gizzard, chicken livers, fried chicken, fried fish, fried okra and many fried options.

So, I guess I have no other option than to publicly post my email message: "Hello Jacob, We are first time customers at this restaurant. Let me start on a positive note: - Shroom Burger and Garlic Fries were delicious! Now, for my disatisfactions: - We were at a 7PM graduation and needed a late dinner afterward. We chose your restaurant because you were open an hour later than others. No where on your website did I see any indication of kitchen closing a full hour before closing. Upon arrival we were told "kitchen closes in 10 minutes". - We quickly placed our orders and the marinara was the texture of water - INEDIBLE! I asked the server if they might have thicker sauce and her response was "probably not, kitchen's closed". An acceptable response would have been to double check and NOT serve substandard sauce to begin with! - I was drinking water. Forty minutes before closing the server took the three-quarter's full container and dumped it on the plants. I was planning to get more water! How about asking if anyone would like more before dumping. Basically we felt unimportant and not at all like valued customers. I am extremely unhappy with the service and plan never to return, despite the delicious food. Sincerely, DT

However, there was catering through Jason's Deli at the hospital. I don't usually write reviews in these cases. This was an exception. I had a Turkey sandwich boxed meal. It's pretty much what you would expect - sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie. Sandwich and chips were good. Then the cookie... good Lord, my entire 25 years on this Earth flashed before my eyes (in a good way). It was a soft chocolate chip cookie. As you hold it on your hand, the cookie almost feels as if it's going to collapse on itself. That's how soft it is. First bite quickly became second bite quickly became third bite and before I knew it, the cookie was gone. That cookie was so damn delicious. I feel like there's a good chance that there was a stick's worth of butter in that cookie. Don't let that stop you from achieving pure happiness. Remember that I had a pickle in my boxed meal? Yeah, I traded it for another chocolate chip cookie. Easiest deal in my life. My thoughts after eating that second cookie, "what a chump" and I don't regret it at all. Greed had taken over. After the lecture was over, I went back to that lecture hall. I had saw that someone left their chocolate chip cookie. Not sure what was wrong with that person. I prayed that it would still be there. So I purposely came back just to see if that delight was still there. It was. The good Lord answered my prayers. I ate that cookie. I was happy. I'm still happy as I think about those three cookies. The cookies here are phenomenal. This is unfortunately an understatement. No words can describe what I experienced today. If you want to live a fulfilling life, get a cookie here. Please.
