Incredible food with an incredible owner. Saad was pleasant and happy to serve. He gave me a free falafel which was amazing. Had a little spice and everything nice. Don't let the food truck fool you. This is a gourmet fusion of Indian food you will not forget.

The vibe of the spice is absolutely amazing! The food is phenomenal and fresh made daily! Nothing like McDonald's burgers says the owner lol! You can eat your food there or take it to go either way you'll be pleased! Run don't walk! I mean it! Fresh Pakistani, vegan, vegetarian and meat options for the food truck fresh lovers of the land. My friend and I practically inhaled the food while dancing in our seats and sipping cocktails from the bar inside ! If this is considered bar food, count me in every time!

The guy gave himself a $2.00 tip when I paid with my phone. I ordered chicken and lamb and he gave me chicken and beef thinking I wouldn't know the difference. I would have asked him to correct it but it took so long that there's no way I'd sit around hungry for any longer. The chicken is really good tho and they're open late so I gave this place two stars. Beware the fast-talking snake oil salesman pitch. He talked me into buying bread but didn't even include it.

Mad I can't find the great food pics

Good lord yall! Do not deprive your self of this amazing spot! Amazing food and the owner is so funny and warm! If I could afford to eat here 5 days a week I would!

This is the lamb kabob on rice.

This was my first time eating halal Indian mediterranean food and I am in love. I have now been once a week for the last 5 weeks! The flavors and quality of the food is beyond words. The owners ( I believe husband and wife) are very welcoming and the service makes you want to come back almost as much as the food. The area that the food truck is located in is new and the ambiance is spectacular. There are picnic tables and twinkle lights that make it a perfect date night. My personal favorite so far is the lamb gyro over rice. The rice has so much flavor, the lamb is tender and packed with flavor. I 100% recommend this place and wish I could eat it all the time.

Had a lovely dinner here tonight. The owner/chef made me a special plate of chickpeas and potatoes and Pakistani pickles. It was delicious.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

Doughnuts made to order out of an airstream, you say?…read more Looks like they used to offer mini versions but that side of the menu is all mask taped over. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

I was craving some Jerk…read morechicken (been in a BBQ food coma) and decided to try Tony's Caribbean food truck...yes, another food truck. I am the most adventurous diner in our household. From speaking with Tony Jr. today, they also have a restaurant in Pflugerville. I ordered jerk chicken, which fell off the bones and came with cabbage, rice and peas and plantain. I have traveled to Jamaica a couple of times, this Jamaican food was the real deal. The jerk chicken was a bit spicey but not set your tongue on fire spicey. The rice and peas along with the cabbage was perfectly seasoned. The standout for me was the sweet plantain, spoken like a plantain connoisseur. The plantain was sweet on the inside and slightly charred on the outside...perfect combination. The only improvement would have been for me to get a side of plantain. My food was delivered fast and hot. Tony Jr. was super personable and friendly. There is seating in the center of the food truck park. You hear tunes being played in the background. The food truck park is at the core of East Austin in a semi-residential area. Street parking is available for diners. I look forward to trying curry goat and oxtails and more.
