Thursday was a bright sunny day and the sun beams shone thru the windows to highlight the comic and toy goodness. New comics come in weekly and they have a nice back stock selection. They also have prints, t-shirts and models. Check out their Funkos and models. Recently they have had some pop culture guests like Lou Ferigno, some Power Rangers and some voice actors. Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

I think the coolest part about walking into B & L is that it is a time capsule that represents every comic shop I ever went to as a kid and young adult. This is a good thing. Larry is such a nice guy and he knows comics and has a great selection of wall books and back issues. He also gets new books on Wednesdays. The shop has comic supplies along with some great sports cards and non-sport cards. He carries other great collectibles and even some candy which I can't say no to...ever! Larry and B & L will have Free Comics tomorrow for Free Comic Book Day. Stop in and say hi!!! I didn't really know about this store until my church friend, John, suggested the store to me because that is where he found his Bible cover. So, I came to find myself a Bible cover for a new Bible that I bought a week prior. I bought the Bible while in Chicago which is a used Life Application Study Bible that I randomly found for $1 at a bookstore. I was able to find a brown covered Bible cover here at Books-A-Million in October 2025. It has an Ephesians Bible verse on the front cover (Put on the Full Armor of God) and side pockets on the inside of it. I also like the side handle to carry the Bible cover. While at the store, a guy friend from church called me and asked me to find him a large print Catholic Bible (with the aprophcyha) but I couldn't find the exact one that he liked. I ended up returning back to Books-A-Million on October 31, 2025 to buy a Catholic Bible for him. A few others later chipped in money to use in purchasing this Catholic Bible for his birthday in November. I couldn't find a large print Catholic Bible with Jesus words in red so I bought a regular print one with Jesus words in red plus a Bible magnifier. I returned to the store in November 2025 to look for something that they didn't have but per my posted photos, I bought some Dubai Chocolates (I am writing this review almost a year later). INSIDE -- the store is large and organized by various sections. BOOKS GALORE -- There are many books to choose from, including fiction and non-fiction. They offer books in areas of business, religion, mysteries, sports, romance, etc SERVICE -- It may be difficult to find help because the store is large. When I finally found assistance, the employee was helpful during my two October 2025 visits. I remember during my first October visit, the employee walked around the Bible section of the store with me trying to help me find a specific Catholic Bible. I'll definitely be back again if I am looking to buy a specific book (I traditionally shop at local bookstores).
