I came in to buy a fridge and a dishwasher. I was undecided on the fridge but knew I wanted a very specific Bosch dishwasher. Patrick rocked my world by convincing me to give KitchenAid a try. When I get it hooked up, I will update the review to let you know if it was a good suggestion :) As another review said, Patrick answered questions, and gave price quotes for the items I was considering that all came in under larger store prices. Delivery was originally quoted as free, which I knew would not be true given my address (my location has some unique difficulties for delivery). Other companies have flat out said they won't deliver to my neighborhood. One employee of Weir's, upon hearing my address, also said absolutely no deliveries to my address. Patrick, however, took the initiative to find out if that was actually true and if so, might there be a solution we could work out. Which we did! I paid a small fee for delivery, which I was happy to do, and in two separate trips (dishwasher was back-ordered), the amazing and talented Evan helped get the products to my house. Delivery was as smooth and painless as it can be at this house. Both deliveries were professional, and efficient. On fridge delivery, Evan, joined by Chris, installed the new fridge upstairs, moved the old fridge downstairs - and even put all the shelves back in for me, a nice extra touch - and smiled despite the tight staircase. Dishwasher delivery was much simpler - Evan brought the new one upstairs, took the old one away, and poof! like magic, I will be able to hear myself think in the kitchen again. I don't know if Weir's (or Evan) wants me to tell my neighbors how awesome their delivery was, but I am sure they would love me to tell everyone else. 5 stars for Patrick's solution-finding and price-beating, 5 stars for Evan's (and Chris') professional and cheerful delivery! read more

I bought a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher here all at one time along with a 5 year warranty on all 3 from Weir's Appliance. Refrigerator broke 2 times. They don't like to return your calls. They gave me an old dirty one as a temp the 1st round. They did finally let me have the 2nd temp they gave me to use instead of the same kind I bought because it was taking soooooo long (months) and I was trying to sell my place.....along with me going there and calling like crazy. They stuck me with the bill...over $300 for fixing the refrigerator which broke again!!! I lost 2 loads of food due to this. I bought a 5 year warranty! The place they called to fix it couldn't get them to pay so they sent ME to collections!! HORRIBLE company! They LIE, don't hold up to their warranties, don't like to call you back, the person you're supposed to talk to in hardly ever there (which I don't believe), make you wait months for any thing to happen, and you can get sent to collections for them not paying the service provided during the warranty. This is still in process for me...I am waiting for a phone call. UPDATE: I just paid the collection agency $338.64 so it won't go on my credit report. I am waiting to get a check from Weir's because they were taking too long to pay the bill. read more

We needed to upgrade our kitchen appliances and found ourselves looking for a new stove and refrigerator. We wanted to shop local and have known about Weir's for years. We were met by Dakota at the door and he took all the time we needed to answer our many questions. Once we found a refrigerator (a French door Whirlpool) we mentioned needing a new range. He took us back to their many displays of electric ranges and introduced us to a GE induction, free standing model. After demonstrating the range boil 2 cups of cold water in less than 90 seconds, we were hooked. We went home, did some online research and a few days later made our move. Now that we have had the range for a couple of months we have to say it has totally changed our cooking habits. If you are in the market for a new electric range, be sure to check out the magic of induction cooking. It's amazing! We had Weir's deliver and set up our new appliances. The crew was very friendly, courteous, careful and wore masks and gloves. Three months later, they sent out a repair tech within three hours of calling to help with a stubborn water filter replacement in the refrigerator. For no charge! I always purchase appliances from large outfits. But this time due to the pandemic none of the large stores had in stock the stove I was looking for. Said that, I called multiple smaller appliance store and was not to impressed by their price. Until I talked to Evan at Weir's Appliance in Tacoma. After having a very pleasant conversation with him. I back ordered the stove I was interested on at the same price than the larger stores with free delivery and removal of the old stove. The stove was delivered by Trace and Drew. I would like to add that they were very professional. They took the time to start the stove to make sure that the protective film in the oven was removed prior to cooking. I asked Trace about the company and he told me that owners are very good decent people and that he really enjoyed working there. I believe that if an employer treats its employees decently that would be a good indication of how they will treat their customer. So far I'm satisfied with this company and I'm willing to purchase other appliances from them in the future. read more

Twenty-two years ago, we bought all of our appliances from Weir's. Our dishwasher finally gave out and we went back to Weir's for a replacement. We worked with Jeremy Lawant, who was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the dishwashers they carry. If he didn't know a detail, he quickly looked it up for us. Jeremy treated us with tremendous respect, was responsive to all of our questions, and truly seemed to care that we got exactly what we needed. Just to be sure we were getting the best deal we went to another appliance store for comparison. There, we found the exact same model at the same price. Since we were there, it would have been easier to just buy it there. However, the salesperson simply led us to the dishwashers and told us to "let him know" if we needed anything and then walked away. When we wanted to ask him a question, he was unavailable. Another salesperson was busy on her cell phone. Costumer service matters. We drove back to Weir's to buy our dishwasher from Jeremy. Can't say enough good things about Weir's and Jeremy Lawant. read more

We had a dishwasher installed. Had to wait for shipment but was told up front about it when we ordered, It came into the warehouse and they called same day to schedule for deli. Ryan and he wife Steph (working partner's for 7 months.) delivered and were so careful getting in through the door and not bumping furniture. It was such a tight fit and made dishwasher stick out from cabinets. Ryan offered to change out plug and Steph ran to Home Depot and got flat head plug. They were so professional and explained some features we would have overlooked in brosure. Did not charge for extra plug. what a shock. Cleaned everything up and took away old machine. Our oven quit just five days before a big dinner party. We didn't know where to go or who to trust. I remembered Weir's giving us a cardboard donation many years ago when our son was in preschool--- figured they were still in business for a reason. We were met by Roland and he listened to what we needed and understood our budget. Unfortunately, the one we wanted wouldn't arrive by the party . I was thinking of how to pull it all off on a bbq , but Roland kept searching and discovered there actually was one in stock. Then he found out it couldn't be delivered in time. So he went the extra mile and talked to the delivery department and got it delivered two days before the dinner!! The young man who delivered the oven was so nice and made the delivery a piece of cake. We love the new oven and feel so good about purchasing it from Weir's. read more

My wife and I own an old house in Gig Harbor, WA, and we recently bought a new Samsung refrigerator from Weir's in Tacoma. Winona Block in Sales was extremely helpful and responsive to finding an appliance that fits our needs - highly recommend working with Winona! The installers, Ben and Dakota (as well as Chris during a previous visit to our home) were very friendly, personable, and professional. They put a lot of effort into making sure that the installation didn't cause any damage to walls, molding, doorways, etc. - even though our old house offered some significant challenges to getting the fridge into the kitchen. This also included moving the old refrigerator down a stairway into our basement. I would recommend these installation crew members to anyone that has special space/measurement issues for an appliance. read more

We bought 4 new appliances from Weirs after getting a total runaround from Penneys (too long of a story to go thru) and forget Sears (not even remotely feasible). Weirs matched Penney's prices so that wasn't a problem; easy to work with on delivery and installation, Ben and Chris were great installers. The dishwasher turned out to be defective (no power) so we decided for option 2; just bring us a new one instead of waiting almost two weeks for GE Service to come out (4 hour window) to repair what was delivered. Chris delivered and installed the new dishwasher and it seems to be working just fine (just installed today); but Weirs was more than accommodating to just bring us a new one, no arguing was needed. My old Fridge just up and died. Went to Home Depot, found the fridge we wanted. They said 1 week for delivery. Went to another local place, same thing. 1 Week. My fridge died, food was spoiling etc. I remembered seeing Weir's store. Went in, looked around, and after a little bit of time, which was nice they didn't hover over me once we walked in, some one came to talk with us. We told them our issue and what we were looking for. They told me 1 week probably, BUT they might get me a loaner until then! But turns out they found something else to my liking, set it up for 1 1/2 day delivery. We bought a new refridgerator from Weirs. We spent some time looking and then was approached by Jeremy and he answered questions we had. Price sticker was significantly lowered to compete with other box stores. Blaik and Nate were two individuals who delivered and set up the refridgerator. They called before their scheduled arrival. They removed refridgerator doors on the new and old refridgerator to get through the door and were careful not to scratch the door jambs and floors. They hooked up the water, removed all the packaging material and tape, assemble the parts and gave a quick run down of the settings. they also hauled the old refridgerator and packing material away. We had great in-person service with Jeremy for our first visit to the store when we were there looking for a stove replacement. Then after comparing other places we could purchase the same stove from we decided to take a chance on Weir's rather than go with either of the big box stores that had bad delivery reviews. We called to order the stove over the phone with Weirs and Winona was very helpful in price matching. The stove was on backorder and expected to arrive in March, but then we got a call that it was ready for delivery a few weeks early! The delivery by Miles & Ellis was also a great experience. I have nothing but great things to say about the whole team at Weirs! Dakota and Jeremy both made our experience buying a new electric induction slide-in range such an easy, enjoyable experience. They were friendly, thorough, and never made us feel pressured or upsold. Their prices are incredible, and they really have thoughtfully considered how to make each step of the install as painless as possible for their customers. Dakota remembered us from months before, made sure we were taken care of, and Jeremy was so helpful through the buying process! Fantastic company to deal with from start to finish. Loaner refrigerator option is phenomenal. Sales team was extremely professional and not high pressure in any way. They were always polite and helpful when I called to see the status of our order. Delivery team of Ellis and Drake called well before they arrive, made sure everything was set up properly and covered the set-up of the new appliance with me. Took their time to make sure it was right. As they were leaving, Ellis stopped and picked up a piece of packing that had come off the fridge when they brought it in. Marty and Devin arrived on time and after greeting went right to work bringing our new refrigerator in for installation. They careful with the appliance as well as making certain our floors were covered before installation. We were given a brief narrative about the new appliance. They also moved our other refrigerator with care to our garage. A door had to be removed to move the new appliance into the home. They left and a few minutes later we noticed a scratch on a drawer. We called them and they returned to review and found a second one scratched. Within hours we received a call that our replacements would be delivered the next day. Great service! Matt M was the best when he showed up to install our new GE Range. He was friendly and sociable as well as informative. He explained how to register my new Range as well as how to install the 'anti-tip bracket'. When Matt ran into an issue with getting the range to properly align with my countertops (range was and is level) he took the time to explain to me why it didn't seem to be lining up perfectly but assured me that the range was level and is in perfect working order. My 6 yr old daughter was running around being a huge distraction and Matt didn't let that bother him or show any signs of dis-interest or irritation. Thank you for a job well done Matt!! read more

My old refrigerator died on a Friday. Weirs did an excellent job of getting me the refrigerator I wanted and expediting delivery on Monday. Joe called ahead and arrived precisely when expected. He and his helper, AJ, were extremely careful when removing the old refrigerator and bringing in the new one up a number of steps and through doorways just barely wide enough to get through. They set up the new one, went over the operating instructions and asked me if I had any questions. They were very careful of our flooring and furniture as they moved the refrigerators in and out, and they removed all the packaging materials. Excellent job guys!! read more
