I requested a service call thru my homeowners warranty insurance to fix my dryer. The technician came out and thoroughly checked the dryer to see what the problem was. The parts were delivered in a reasonable amount of time of time as they updated me on that information. Easy to get an appointment to come out quickly. 2nd visit was great. Technician explain in full detail what I needed to do for my next steps to keep the dyer running properly. They fixed the problems for the dryer. It's running great. Refrigerator cooling problem service call. Tech: CEJAY came out on time and did full inspection then Coil Cleaning service. Job done& is working well very well now with temperatures on side by side freezer and fridge in normal ranges again. This time however we had waited a significant amount of time for a needed part from the manufacturer and they helped me to purchase the needed part outside of the manufacturer and we're here to put it in with in 2 days of it arriving! Really grateful for them. They had to come fix electrolux appliances and through the extended warranty the first service company was a no call/no show. After major drama with electrolux, RPS was assigned - they scheduled an appointment, confirmed it, and were here when they said they were. They were able to fix the issue, too! One thing I didn't love - the service guy wore a ton of cologne. It was like Axe Body Spray. He was so nice and helpful, but holy cow, I had to air out the house afterward. Had a dryer that stopped working. RPS gave me a ball park estimate on what the repair cost would be as the a worst case option. It was the worst case and it came to be just a tad bit under. CeJay was their representative and represented well. His badge said Certified Master Technician. It showed. I always give my appliances one chance on redeeming themselves. The cost of a repair outweighs buying a new unit or a new set for this matter. Cost was a bitter pill to swallow, but I do believe their price did fall into line with industry standards. If I could give them a negative star I would with out hesitation. I was given there service thru my insurance company. They made me wait over a week to start and then told me my appt. was at 2:00 that day. I work till 2:30 and get home at 3:15. They said that I said at 2:00...why would I have said that? Umm so instead of good customer service and saying maybe it was there mistake they insisted it was me not them that made the mistake. Guess that makes me the idiot or maybe there the blooming idiots that made the mistake. Highly recommend these folks. We live in a rural community and it's difficult to get timely repair services. We had significant issues with a previous company we used, and asked the manufacturer of our appliance if they had any other recommendations. They did and it was RPS! The appointment scheduler was courteous and we were able to schedule an appointment a few days from our call. Josh came out on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the part (all while at our home) and then scheduled a return trip in a week to install it. As a new homeowner, trying to do laundry for the first time only to find out the washer didn't work was daunting to say the least. I called RPS to discuss repair options and ended up with a new (to me) washer instead for close to what it would have likely cost for repairs. It was nice having a for-sure solution and not have to worry about the "what if's" of parts costs. The gal on the phone was so helpful, patient, and just as sweet as can be. I think I called her about 6 times that day and she never seemed even remotely annoyed by my relentless questions. She even sent me pictures from her personal phone so I'd know what the "refurbished" washer looked like. The guys who brought the washer out were awesome too. They removed my old washer and installed the new one (this was on the 3rd floor) with only a few good-humored dirty looks shot my way : p They also helped me identify an electrical issue that I otherwise would have had no clue how to resolve. They were quick, clean, professional, and now I have a perfectly running washer! Also, for what it's worth, this was all done in one day! RPS apparently does handyman type jobs too, so I'm definitely keeping their number for future reference! read more

Simple review here is for their honesty and integrity I had a issue where I called into RPS for a repair tech to come out but the team member went out of their way to guide me through a self repair over the phone and after a $5 trip to the hardware store and one minute of coaching from them, long running problem corrected. Unrelaible!! I would never call this company again. I went two months without a dishwasher because tech was incompetent and broke my dishwasher even worse after waiting three weeks for the part. He literally left the job with my dishwasher half installed on a Friday afternoon. I'm sure it depends on the tech but I wouldn't take my chances! I called RPS Washer & Dryer Service to look at my dryer when tenants in a rental property said the dryer wasn't working. They arrived when they said they would. They were professional. They listened to the problems that my tenants described. They called me and were very friendly. The gentleman I spoke with went the extra mile to describe the problem to me. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it. I couldn't have asked for a friendlier, more communicative repairman. read more

We used them to replace our foe pillars on the front of our house. After 6 months they started falling apart. We have big gaps in our wood where they filled with a bunch of caulk to pretend like it matched up. Over 1300 bucks for terrible terrible work that we are now having to try and repair. They also got paint on my patio and brick because when they painted they failed to put anything down. They also got paint on my shrubs but that has finally been able to be trimmed off. I would never recommend them based on my experience. Josh with RPS quickly assessed the problem with our dishwasher and ordered the correct part. In the meantime our clothes washer displayed an error code and quit working. Because they were there to install the dishwasher part days later, they gave the clothes washer a look. A motor bolt needed tightening. That's it. No charge. They could've said we can fix it for $$$ and we wouldn't have known the difference. Thank you RPS for your excellent service with integrity. My involvement with RPS was not good and my particular situation lead to feelings of being ripped off. This resulted in posting bad reviews on both the BBB website and Yelp. After reading RPS' reply I have decided to partially retract my comments. However, this is not a retraction of my entire post, I am still dissatisfied. In my original post, I quoted a statement from their website, "At RPS we have many services to offer: In home appliance repair, small handyman services, dryer vent cleaning and more!" I then stated, "They DO NOT clean dryer vents exiting the house! Consumer, please do not be misled." To be clear, RPS DOES provide dryer vent/duct cleaning, but there are limitations. They cannot clean dryer ducts exiting the roof on two story homes because they do not have the proper equipment to do so. My apologies to RPS for not granting them the opportunity to explain. After receiving their reply, it is my understanding this situation was fashioned due to a lack of communication. RPS failed to gather all the appropriate information relating to my direct situation. A conversation was had when making the appointment about my dryer vents and at no point, they disclosed work could not be completed on my ducting system. Even after I relayed to them I believe it may still be an issue with my vents but do not have access. In my opinion, RPS should have asked about the characteristics of my home and ducting system, but failed to do so. I am by no means a dryer repairman, but it is common knowledge dryer ducts need to be free of debris not only for proper operation but to prevent house fires. For me this is was a great learning opportunity for a young homeowner. I will no longer call a repair business without having all my "ducks in a row". In hindsight, I should not have expected an appointment scheduler to help me diagnose my issue over the phone. The outcome of this situation would be completely different if RPS would have taken the time to gather all of the details. I put my trust into a professional and it did not work out how I imagined. My opinion is, RPS should have handled this situation with integrity. At no point did they disclose to me to their reply given from my BBB review. "Diagnosing/repairing an appliance and performing a dryer duct clean from the wall to the outside are two separate services." I do not understand how a layman could understand the differences without properly disclosing this to their customer. My outlook on this comment is this. How/why are these two different services? All the information I have is my dryer is not working properly and I need it fixed. This cannot happen if the ducting system is not operating properly. In order for my dryer to work, you must view this as one complete system. If not, I would have to pay two different diagnostic fees equaling $160.00 since they are two different services to still be told they cannot complete the work. If they directed me to hire someone else to double check my vents or do it on my own prior to having a technician come out and charge an $80 diagnostic fee I would not be conveying a bad review of their services via Yelp or the BBB. RPS has great reviews posted on their website and Yelp. They are A+ rated with the BBB, which lead me to use and trust their services. I am by no means trying to "blacklist" RPS and want the public to be made aware of that. The lack of communication presented in my unique situation was a horrible experience and I will never use them again, thus the bad review. Please use this post as a warning prior contacting them for services on your dryer. I cannot speak on the other services they offer or other people's experiences. read more

I called RPS based on the review I found here--they FAR exceeded my expectations. Great assistance from the start with the woman who answered the phone and scheduled the appointment, and terrific service from the two men who'd clearly been hard at work all day long. They identified the problem (a quarter stuck near the pump) and resolved it in less than an hour. I've made a point to pass on my recommendation to our condo association. Impressed! Having problems with dishwasher. Gave me some advice to try when i called them. Only company of 4 that actually responded to my online request for service. Came out when they said they would. Were helpful, friendly, and didn't take advantage of us as i have experienced before with repairman. Would definitely recommend. read more
