While visiting Baltimore from Texas, our friend brought us to Weiss Deli for a late lunch, and it did not disappoint! The Rueben and Cloak & Dagger sandwiches were loaded with moist, flavorful corned beef -- every bite was packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, working hard to make sure everyone was happy. If you're in Baltimore, Weiss Deli is a must-visit for a hearty, delicious meal.

Read the reviews and was looking for a solid Corned Beef sandwich spot so we got here around 2 on a Thursday afternoon. We visited after lunch thinking there wouldn't be a queue but we had about 20 ahead of us. This is more of a take out spot. They had chairs lined up which might have been for customers standing in line and I saw some tables/chairs randomly placed in the distance which I guess are for anyone who wants to eat-in? Interior could definitely use a refresh. We ordered a corned beef sandwich and took some Corned Beef and Pastrami slices to make sandwiches at home. Pastrami slices were ok. This spot is definitely about the Corned Beef. They make sandwiches the way you want it and have a variety of cheeses. I saw Turkey and their own speciality sandwiches on the menu also. Tasty Corned Beef and more of the fatty variety (which imho is tastier than lean) and some of the best I've had. Ordered the Hot Dog with everything. It was okay although I saw signs stating it was the best in Baltimore. Service was friendly. Street parking only and we found a spot right away. Cash only so bring the Greenbacks. Nothing fancy from an interior perspective. That said, probably the best Corned Beef in the area.

This was real Corned beef ! Unlike the thinly shaved sandwich as usual this cut was fat and meaty. Service was good and fast . Easy pull up and park.

A Baltimore Corn Beef Row Staple! This review is very straight forth. Mad deliciously savory meat served on rye or your choice of available bread. Typically I'll have provolone, onions and mustard on mine (heated BTW!) Top your order off with some fresh Utz and Ginger Ale. I'll say this during the colder month, the lines are a little light. But as soon as it is warm, be prepared to stand in line! If you're looking for a sterile cafeteria experience, this is not your spot!

Great food as always. The staff is friendly and professional. Lunch time is always crowded some come early or after lunch rush.

I have had Weiss on my to-go list for MONTHS ever since I craved a Reuben one day at work and went scouring the internet for a good local deli. I live right around the corner, and once, somebody yelled at me from his truck as I walked by Weiss that "Weiss has the best corned beef in Baltimore, way better than Attman's." Unfortunately, Weiss is only open 9am-5pm Mon-Sat, which is tough with my schedule, so I have been tortured every time I pass by the closed sign on the way home. I had to wait until when my partner picked up a Reuben for me a few weeks ago. The Reuben used just regular sandwich bread but comes with enough meat for three sandwiches. I wish that they used a thicker cut of bread to balance the entire cow that they slap between the bread, but as the random stranger claimed, the corned beef really is the best in Baltimore. I want to go back to see what the inside is like myself, but my partner reports that it's "like a warehouse," and they had quick service. Next time, I might bring the sandwich home and split the meat into two sandwiches to self-adjust the proportions.

Man when I say I've rode past this place 100 times & never went to it always electing to go to Attman's. A buddy of mines was like you have to try their Rueben it's different. When I say it wasn't a disappointment at all. It's a small old school truck stop setup. The only issue is it's located on a busy downtown street literally like a half a block away from Attman's so the parking at times can be an adventure but it's worth the circling of the block. The service was amazing all of your sandwiches are prepared right in front of you by a very friendly staff with tons of gloves so it's no cross contamination to worry about. Plus it was a great old school feel to the place with the oldies playing in the background. Plus they aren't stingy with the meat. When I say my Rueben was loaded it's one of those sandwiches you're definitely going to have to use 2 hands for. But the truly best part of it all is the Rueben, bag of chips, & soda came in for an unbelievable price of $19 & some change. Something that's a blessing all it's self given the inflation times we are currently living in.

I've driven past THB for years, never paying the place any attention. My fellow foodie friend…read moresuggested a dine in breakfast, so that would be my first visit there. I was fairly impressed with the location and how quickly staff moves through orders. Pleasant staff, nice laid back vibes that morning. I had an everything bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee which did not disappoint.

Let me preface this by saying I was craving a cheesesteak. And I will add that this is a bagel shop…read moreand not necessarily known as well for sandwiches. But they do have a wide menu which includes cheesesteak so I decided to give them a try. Then came the 100% disappointing sad cheesesteak I was served. From the soggy bread, to the wrapper that stuck to my cheese and turned my cheesesteak into just the "steak" part. The flavor was that of a piece of bread soaked in water and tasteless. Overall did not come close to fulfilling my craving. Service was the same to follow. I approached the counter where I was greeted. The only customer service part of my experience. I told her my name and she said it would be a few more minutes. The woman then stated talking to her coworkers.. nonstop chatter. All the while the back cooks were bringing up food. And they were bagging it. After about 10 minutes of waiting. I interrupted the chatter and asked if my sandwich would be coming soon (at this point it had been 20 minutes since I ordered). She then asked me my name again and then grabbed a bag that had been sitting in the counter for some time and handed it to me. No apology.. nothing to show my bag had been sitting there for the last 8 minutes while I waited and she as the "greeter" forgot to check on it. So overall I would say the one star given is generous for the service, and food I received from this store.
