If you're willing to make the 1-hour drive from Denver, this brewery is known to brew tastier than normal beers, therefore trekking out could be worthwhile. I'd say it is worth it... We did order 2 flights of tasters from a menu with a multitude of styles and choices. And took some bottles home to boot. They are really known for their pastry stouts (aka diabetes). Most do not realize that they are brewing some solid IPA's too. From the classic West Coast to a hazy and of course the experimental dry hopped IPA. They do a spectacular job on the latter, creating a unique beer, not that uniform kind where each "new" IPA tastes so similar to the last (*cough* Modern Times *cough*). Here the flavor profiles are distinct -- the aroma bursting and the tasting notes well defined. With these breweries, no one really cares too much for the core beers -- only their exciting new releases, every week, it seems like almost. But, their Tasty Bits -- which they certainly dry hop on occasion -- is extremely satisfying. Bright tropical notes with rivulets of piney bits. Oh, and the blue-green beer looked mesmerizing enough, but tasted awful. An oversight, I'm certain. As for their sours, they weren't exactly anything to rave about, but solid enough. read more

Without question, this is the best new brewery I've tried in years! I loved that the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They were willing to discuss beer and provide excellent suggestions without dismissing or making you feel like you were just another number. Next, there wasn't a beer I didn't love. I ordered a wide array of samples and no matter which category the beer fell into it was just really, really good. It's been a long time since I've been to a brewery where all the beers were at such a high level. Finally, the atmosphere was really good. I should say, the option you want. First time going up since Covid and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the social distancing they offered! Plenty of outdoor space, an outdoor tent, and limited indoor. I will say nothing will beat the olden days of packing that taproom to the brim on release days but happy it's safe and they are able to continue to serve their fantastic beer! They also seem to have done some upgrades since the last time I was up. Their whole patio looks fancier with new wrought iron decor. I liked it! This brewery is worth the trip! So many options for a variety of beer styles. My boyfriend likes IPAs and I like sours and we were both able to find several options that we loved. I had the Orange Creamsicle Cheesecake sour and the Strawberry cheesecake sour. Both were not too sour and had a nice creamy taste, delicious! I bought a can of the Root Beer Float Stout to go. It was good too but on the sweeter side. I would only ever want one can at a time because of its sweetness. read more

Good brewery overall, except they decided to phase out Acromatics, their adjunct stout program, and just make them all Medianoche, their barrel aged lineup. Problem is, most of them are overly adjuncted to the point that often a sludge layer settles to the bottom. Fanboys call it being "blessed". I call it disgusting and amateurish. Dare I say they need more R&D for their pricey, hyped up Medianoche lineup. Stick with their hazy IPA's which they do well, despite many other options from other breweries that are just as good. read more

Awesome place! I had one of their raspberry coconut vanilla sours at a pizza place in Denver and liked the beer so much I decided to come to the brewery and sample other flavors. The beer is so flavorful and unique. Key lime white chocolate sour?!? Who even comes up with these? The food is equally as good as the beer and not your typical pub/beer garden food. The atmosphere is so welcoming and fun. Clean and very friendly staff members. I love they have an outside sitting area in the parking lot for overflow and a more comfy seating option. Great place for gathering for special occasions. The schnitzel was very good and the sauce excellent! Lots of beer on tap to choose from too. It gets a bit noisy inside but not overwhelmingly so as to prevent people from hearing each other. I just wish they had more low tables. read more

I've been a fan of WeldWerks from afar ever since moving to Denver since their flagship Juicy Bits quickly rose toward the top of local Hazy IPAs available for purchase at the liquor store. I've been meaning to make the trek out to Greeley for more than a year and for some reason just never got around to it until Saturday on our way out to Fort Collins. The hours listed show the brewery open at 11 am - this is only partially true during COVID. You can pre-order beer and swing by to pick it up - or they have a little table set up out front where you can purchase beer to go at 11. As far as table seating/tastings, those don't start until 1 pm, and we were recommended to make a reservation beforehand. All this being said, we showed up right around 11:20 am and the guy working the front table was the nicest dude and just freakin awesome all around - he apologized that he couldn't seat us this early, but graciously brought us out essentially a little mini flight of beers - half for me, half for my wife - when he heard that we had driven in from out of town and likely wouldn't be back in the area for a while. My wife ended up really liking their Hefeweizen - we have a beautiful 4-pack sitting in the fridge as I type this - and I scored a 4-pack of the Extra Extra Juicy Bits, which is the double version of their popular single IPA. This brewery specializes in haze and there are still plenty of options I intend to come back for - this was a great little warm-up for what I'm sure will be a marathon relationship with this brewery once things get back to normal. Always great to visit the brewery that makes one of the beers you've been drinking regularly to find that the staff is super cool and the facilities are chill-worthy. Man oh man!!! If this was near me, I'd be here ALL THE TIME!!! Great brews! Amazing staff! Cool space! The absolute trifecta!!! I can see why this place gets 5 stars with over 60 reviews! WeldWerks Brewing Co. is easy to find. If you make a trip to the Denver area, I would definitely add WWBC to your list of stops (even if it is an hour-ish north). It is kid friendly and dogs are allowed in the patio area. Music is all over the place - but mostly nostalgic tunes! Board games are available! You can bring outside food, and there are food trucks also on certain days. The first time I came through, I wasn't sure what to order (of course, I had their Juicy Bits - a definite must), but the beer-tenders were really helpful - so I ended up with 5 generous tastes (for a bargain price of $13) of a variety of hazy IPAs and a hefe. Seriously, I was done that first night after those 5 tastes (or maybe it was the elevation). And they were all delicious! Many had the tastes of the tropics (banana, mango, pineapple...)! My second visit got me a free pour - one of the guys was busy chatting away with one of the customers, and didn't realize there a line (I was next) - I was ok with waiting, but he offered that pour on the house, so nice!!! Absolutely worth the drive!!!! We have been waiting to drive up after trying a couple cans we found here and there, and today we did it! And man has it been amazing! We were greeted with friendly smiles and high fives! There's a ton of seating, inside and outside and free WiFi! There's not a ton of outlets inside but definitely a good study spot if you have a chargers computer. I'd also add that it was chilly inside so wear your jacket to enjoy the beer! My wife and I each got a 4 beer flight, and every single one was unique and tasty in their own way. I can't wait to come back to see what new brews they have! read more

Some of the best beer in the state can be found at WeldWerks. I finally made the journey and don't regret it. The area has plenty of parking with a huge open interior. In 2018 their goal is 100 new beers so the menu is constantly changing. I've never seen more flights ordered in my life and the team behind the bar is quick to fill, give a great customer experience, and get to the next person. I've been living in Colorado for about a year now, and I think popular opinion on best brewery in the state is Outer Range. However, I visited WeldWerks Brewing this past weekend and OH MY LORD, they had some of the best beers I've had while living here. Coming from the East Coast, I'm a big fan of IPAs. WeldWerks had about 8 IPAs on tap, some double, some experimental. The three IPAs I had were outstanding. I would 100% drive an hour back to Greeley, just to go to WeldWerks again. I highly recommend 'Dad Nap' and 'Tropical Lightning Storm'. I also had a double cheeseburger which was pretty solid (came with a side salad) and their fries were top notch. read more

There is an ample selection here, mostly IPAs and sours. The nuisance of hose to beer varieties is lost on me. But then I noticed... a California Common, "Commonly Uncommon" and a barrel aged strong ale. "Barrel Aged Derby Day" The Cali Common was a new type of fermentation process I'd not heard of before, apparently using lager yeast but at ale temperatures. At any rate, it was a smooth, very drinkable ale that was coppery in color and had light caramel notes. Derby Day is a strong drink, over 14% I believe. Yet the smoothest drink of that ilk I've had. I could sip the strong ale all day, and end up on my face if I did. I'd be back for sure, if this were my home town! read more

Last visit my girls grabbed the pulled pork tacos and they were packed with meat. Not what I expected and I mean in a good way. Plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon. This is a recent restaurant that opened in Downtown Greeley. It has popularity, and I've known people from the Denver area make trips up to Greeley just for WeldWerks. I dined here on Wednesday, June 14th. This place serves homemade beer, since the restaurant is also a brewery. I ordered the Colorado Ale, and it's far better than bottled and canned beer. For food, I ordered the double cheeseburger that comes with a mixed greens salad. The beef used in the burger was exceptionally high quality. It was cooked to perfection, and it was quite juicy. The salad used very fresh lettuce and it had a savory dressing on it. I was impressed. The service was fast and professional. The ambiance was beautiful. The dining room was spacious and modern. The patio was loaded with flowers. You also get views of brewery itself. It's nice to find good restaurants in Greeley and Weld County, since the area desperately needs them. I highly recommend this place for visitors in the Greeley area. Residents in Weld and Larimer counties should try this place as well. I'd even recommend Denver residents to come up here to try homemade beer at an affordable price. It was only $5 for the Colorado ale. I've been to bars in Denver that charge more than that for Bud Light and Coors. read more

Stopped in here while driving cross country from Hampstead, NC to Seattle, WA. I was introduced to one of their beers and have been watching them on instagram. I knew this was a place for me to visit. They are located on a main street and have their own parking lot. Bonus points for that feature alone as most breweries do not offer parking. Entering through the front door opens up into a large seating area with plenty of places to sit. A lot of bar stools as well as tables and chairs throughout. Not overcrowded by any means. Another bonus. There were no special releases, but plenty beer varieties on draft and to go in cans and crowlers. While I was getting beer, the kids grabbed a couple items from a food cart outside. The shrimp po'boy was pretty good. Overall I was very impressed with the location, parking, design, customer service, and of course their beer! Eventually, people caught in to the dark & handsome options. Now, it's getting difficult to avoid the crowds. WeldWerks is still putting on some prime liquid entertainment. Went here this past Saturday. Got there right when they opened. Patio had slot of tables and a covering so you weren't burning in the sun. There were a lot of tables inside, it was a big area. Large bar seating too. Going to Weldwerks I knew they mostly made IPAs and then did other beers also. I am an IPA drinker but the people I was with do not prefer them. I am glad the day we went they did have mostly IPAs but did have a Stout, Gose, Lager and Hefe on tap. Bartenders were very friendly. They explained all the beers. We had their standard flight. Really enjoyed the Gose and Choco Taco. That thing was amazing. (We did up getting a Crowler of it to go.) Very delicious beers. I do like the hazy IPAs but my go to will always be west coast IPAs. Always heard good things about this brewery before coming and they met my expectations. Will def be back! Cheers! read more

I've lived in Colorado since 2008. I never went to Greeley until 2017. What ended my drought? In a word--Weldwerks. At the time, they weren't canning. Finding their flagship Juicy Bits IPA in Denver was like hunting snipe or unicorns. Driving home or taking an Uber from Greeley after a few pints is a non-starter. This makes visits to WW like a pilgrimage. The latest one marked my birthday. We couldn't have chosen a better spot to celebrate. The sizable taproom offers plenty of seating, including a few spots outside. If you're settling in for a while, they offer plenty of board games. At the bar, staff are friendly, prompt, and accommodating. This is not Falling Rock (jk). A food truck outside will be waiting to help you moderate your buzz with something tasty. We met all kinds of folks: Greeley locals; beer tourists from as far beyond the Front Range as Minnesota; beer geeks like us who drove up from Denver; people who usually drink Coors who'd just had their minds blown. Typically, 20+ beers are on tap, so unless you have a favorite, flights and/or small pours are the way to go. Having a DD, we tasted an assortment of 12 brews, mostly NE IPAs and stouts--even a sour. As expected, all were a cut above the usual standard and several were exceptional. I recommend any version of the Juicy Bits IPA or Medianoche series of stouts. Overall, WW offers a welcoming vibe, friendly staff and patrons, & world-class beer at the forefront of taste, quality, and innovation, whether in CO or anywhere else. If you like what you tried, see if you can take home some cans or a bottle. You won't regret it. I'm already looking forward to my next trip. read more

One of the best Colorado breweries I have been to they make some crazy styles sours and stouts

During a recent trip to CO my family and I stayed at the double tree. Was super excited to see a brewery one block away. I called to see if they allowed dogs and was thrilled to hear they had an outdoor seating area. Many beer styles available all with great flavor. Over three days I tried half a dozen different with my two favorites being the coconut lime sour and all the double ipas! Beware the triple, muy fuerte! Staff super friendly. Misters felt amazing outdoors. Beer tent with Astro turf and ample seating was great. Enjoyed the corn hole and Jenga. read more

Doodoo smell & lactose beers. This place smells like actual feces. It's also really easy to brew a good tasting beer when you put lactose in it (which is basically ever beer they make). This place is an actual joke. Who wants to sit outside and inhale microscopic particles of feces?! You people are INSANE to offer patio seating.
