Nearly every piece of furniture was wrapped in a moving blanket and nothing was scratched. All of our wall art and TV's were carefully packed and arrived in perfect shape. But I do NOT recommend them for packing your boxes! We hired them to pack our entire house on 3/10/26. They left many things unpacked that day and the crew who came to load everything the next day had to finish the packing. The young man who packed our kitchen did a great job, better than I would have done. Nothing was broken when we unpacked the boxes and every box was labeled correctly and thoroughly. But the rest of the house was packed horribly! Random items from separate rooms were put together in the same box. Some breakable items weren't even wrapped. The huge wardrobe boxes were used for very big and heavy items instead of our clothes. And some of our clothes that were on hangers were just shoved in boxes with other things without being folded. Some of our curtains were wadded up and used in a box like packing paper, making them extremely wrinkled. My mattress pad was wadded up and shoved in a box that was way too small and the box wasn't even closed! (See photo.) Many of the boxes weren't labeled at all, and some were actually labeled incorrectly, so when they were unloaded, they were placed in the wrong room, making us look for days to find our things. We have had to open every single box to figure out where it belongs. We have moved several times, but we have never seen such a sloppy packing job! My teenagers packed better than these guys did! We have been in our new home for a week now, and we're still trying to find things. If you plan to pack your own boxes, these guys are great at moving them. But when it comes to packing, they need some serious training! Very disappointed!

It wasn't a huge deal they contacted me right away and offered to drop it off the next morning. It happens, moving can be chaotic. They quoted me 3 hours and they stuck to those 3 hours. They were so quick and efficient and super careful with my furniture and my things. They were cheaper than most of the other companies that I reached out too and they were a lot more kind and straight forward with quoting. They're local to the central valley so I try to stick with local vendors. Another thing to mention is that they are a smaller company, so getting to talk to someone is very quick, it is easy to book with them and it is easy to work with them in general. The reason I chose this location was the flexibility in hours, i understand my rights as i am part of a legal firm that practices in contracts! Keeping a prepaid payment for 2 days due to you changing the locks to upgrade your system is an illegal lock out, especially when i request to be let known which specific date you changed my locks. The other staff there are amazing, Emma is very unprofessional and disrespectful ans has no customer service skills, she couldnt even carry a conversation with me in the office! She acted as if i was burdening her even for a receipt!

I needed to move the contents of a two-bedroom apartment and 10x14 storage area from North Fresno to Tower. Meathead Movers quoted me a NTE of $3600. Facing extreme sticker shock, I contacted Well Done Moving and my message was returned within the hour. My move ended up costing $1,050. But price wasn't the best part. The movers showed up on time with a moving truck and a personal truck, both of which were completely filled...I was only expecting one truck. They handled all of my furnishings with utmost care and worked non-stop the entire day. I had a couple emergencies that necessitated me leaving the apartment and later leaving the home while they unloaded. I came home to a nearly empty truck and my bed headboard and frame fully installed. Even without direct supervision, the guys had all the items in the correct places as indicated on the boxes. Furniture was placed according to my hurried instructions. These guys are careful and considerate and brutally strong. read more

I used Well Done Moving this past Saturday to move only a few miles within town. The 3 guys they sent were magnificent! They loaded everything up efficiently, carefully and with the best positive attitudes. All three of the guys had a smile on their faces the whole time, were polite and confirmed with me about everything! When we got to the new house they unloaded everything super fast and put everything in the rooms they belonged it. They even moved a very large, heavy safe and got it all set up in the right place. We had all of our possessions temporarily in a storage unit in Fresno and were moving to Brentwood. We had scheduled movers to handle it yesterday. They kept delaying and delaying until they finally just said they weren't coming. We were frantically trying to find help at 6:00 pm Saturday night. We called WDM and within a matter of minutes both Able and Phillip contacted us and we made arrangements. They made a really bad situation for us turn into the best moving experience ever. I can't say enough about how professional, friendly, and careful with our possessions they were. I have moved many times and these two are by far the absolute very best. My wife and I recently moved from Fort Worth, TX to Fresno, CA and we had Well Done Movers unload our truck into our apartment. I was totally impressed with the professionalism, speed and care for our belongings that all three young men exhibited. Theys guys hustled but never nicked a corner or rubbed a side with even ONE item - large or small. My wife was most impressed with the fact that they removed the protective wrapping, plastic or bubble-wrap AND CARRIED IT AWAY WITH THEM! No piles of packing material to dispose of - and the .material was generated by somebody else! We are only in the apartment for six months while our new house is being built but you can bet I'm calling these guys when it's time to move into the new house. read more

I work full-time, and so does my spouse, moving ourselves was out of the question! We have three young children, one of them being a toddler, and three family pets. We hired Well Done Moving based on feedback from others and are so happy with our decision. They got us packed (I had packed a lot already), loaded, and unload in under 8 hours, which was within our budget. Everything was carefully wrapped and arrived in one piece. The crew was cheerful and accommodating to requests, and they set everything where we asked. Huge bonus, our beds were even set up, so we didn't have to do it late in the evening! We were all able to sleep in our new rooms, in our new home! Can't speak highly enough. They're awesome, and worth EVERY penny! read more

I called to set a date and feta quote. Carlos advised me he would send me an email. I never received the email. On a moving day, we scheduled an 8:00 am arrival time. They didn't show up until 12:30 pm. I had an important appointment at 2:00 pm, so the secretary and I rescheduled to the next day. Carlos did not call me, or answer his phone. 3 hours later I received a text stating he would not be assisting me in moving. I looked up his company, this man has no contact licenses for a moving company. He is operating illegally. I found out that he schedules with the highest bidder. This man is unprofessional and hires young inexperienced kids to do the work. read more

They took care in loading, helping with some of the packing, and taking upstairs (one flight) what we needed there. I used Well Done Moving on three separate occasions. The first time, several years ago, I moved from my West Fresno apt (second floor) to a new place near River Park (1st floor). I was very pleased, the two movers I had were efficient. They even wrapped all my furniture, which I wasn't expecting! The second time I used them, I moved from my Riverpark Apartment to Kingsburg. I had the same consistent service. This last time around, I requested their help from my place in Kingsburg to a home I just bought in Hanford. I had acquired three times the amount of stuff, but the guys showed up with a big moving truck, and three guys, and handled it. Highly recommend!! read more

Well Done Moving has actually applied for a moving license but it has NOT been approved so they are operating this moving business illegally. They do NOT have a California Household Goods Moving license therefor they can NOT have the required insurances in place. Consumer beware! If someone is injured YOU are the responsible party and if you look in your home owners insurance policy it will explain that your insurance will not cover you when working with unlicensed companies and under the table tax evaders. read more

Carlos came to our home to give us an estimate for our move. He seemed polite, knowledgeable and interested in our move. He looked through our home and said he would e mail a quote that afternoon. No quote. I called him the next day, he said I would have the quote in two hours. Still waiting and it has been three days. Also, now he won't return our phone calls. I was amazed with the care they took handling our possessions and would most definitely use them again in the future. This is the best moving service I have used. They showed up right on time with 4 guys instead of the discussed 2. These guys made sure to cover and wrap my furniture so that it's protected during the move. After the job was done they did stick to the agreed upon price even though more guys had showed up than what had been quoted for. Abel and Carlos did a great job moving my mom out of her Assisted Living apartment last month during all the Covid restrictions. They properly wrapped the furniture (everything) and it all arrived to her new apartment without damage. They were courteous and friendly the entire time.
