Completely redone by the experienced folks with the Bartolotta Group, the space is a knock-out! My spouse and I arrived early and grabbed some drinks at the expansive bar overlooking the lake. The staff was warm and engaging, and I'm difficult, asking tons of questions and making irreverent comments. They rolled along, laughing and adding to our good time. I'm always wary in Lake Country, because my politics and affect differ from the majority, but the Commodore makes no distinctions. When our friends arrived, we grabbed a table and had a fantastic meal. Our Wiener Schnitzel was great, and our friends raved about the Beef Wellington. Service at the table was professional and well-trained. Maybe because I travel and have lived in several metropolitan areas, I found the prices more than reasonable for the gestalt experience. Other evenings throughout Lent will support different organizations. For $30 we enjoyed a wide-ranging buffet which included clam chowder, salad, potato pancakes, fish tenders, small red potatoes, pearl carrots, and a variety of desserts. We took our time and enjoyed each course, and also the ability to have easy conversations in a nicely quiet room. The Old Fashioned drinks were done well, and the entire evening was very nice. The fish buffet was held upstairs with a beautiful view of Nagawicka Lake. The tables are spaced apart nicely and the service was attentive. I attended a wonderful wedding last night at the only barn wedding facility in the state. Women…read morewore dresses, skirts and pant outfits. Men wore suits, business casual and jeans. The barn was nice and clean. They have beautiful bathrooms. The wedding ceremony was at 500pm in front of the oldest hickory tree in the county. They set up 200 chairs with an aisle down the middle for the wedding party to enter. The property has a nice area to take pictures and enjoy and outdoor pre-reception. Our reception was inside the barn we ate comfortably and heard bride and groom stories, prayer, a charge from the father of the bride. Dinner was catered by Thunder Bay Grill. The wedding party DJ played nice taped music during the dinner. Dessert was a cheesecake. At the end of the reception we launched balloons with lights in them sending off in the air on a new adventure, just like the bride and groom. A beautiful night. I highly recommend this facility.

WOW this was a very good car show with a great diversity of vehicles from the super old to today's vehicles. They had everything from drag cars, race cars, antiques, restomods, restored, good condition, clones, stree rods etc etc. I really enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at all the cars as a car collector person my self. It's really cool looking at everyone's cars because everyone's taste is different so you get to see some really cool cars from so many manufacturers in one spot. The House Signature Overnight Prime Rib was our choice with mashed potatoes and horseradish sauce on the side. These were done to perfection (medium rare) and a good size. My only changes would be a little less au jus with the Prime Rib. It was swimming on the plate and looked a bit overwhelming. Our server was Christine M., and to say she made our meal wonderful from start to finish is an understatement. She obviously enjoys her job and knows how to make everyone feel welcome, which goes a long way towards a great meal. When we booked the Valerie it was still in the building phases and we only had the pictures of the visions Matty had. We are so glad we believed in Matty's vision because the venue is breathtaking. The venue just insanely beautiful from the suites, to the ceremony space, to the reception space, to the bars, and even the bathrooms. The communication the Valerie provides is top notch! They are always quick to respond which is amazing when you are planning the wedding. Matty is always willing to help whether it's with giving recommendations or helping answer questions. He also makes contact with the vendors you chose to talk to them about everything you need to know about the venue! The day of the wedding was amazing, Matty and the point of contact helped so much to keep the day running smoothly. The bartenders were also amazing. My husband and I have said many times over how we wish we could come up with another event to throw just so we can book this venue again!

Everything was delicious. The sausage gravy was seasoned well and the biscuits were crispy on the edges and fluffy in the center. The French toast had a nice caramelized exterior and was cooked perfectly. I couldn't pass up some bakery to take home and got a blueberry muffin and a peanut butter/chocolate chip scone. This scone was fantastic; not too sweet with a great balance of chocolate and peanut butter. What really makes this a five star place is their service. We have tried other places in the surrounding area and the owners will usually ignore us since we aren't regulars. While Creole Cafe definitely has their regular customers, but what sets them apart from some of the other spots is that we didn't feel out of place and the owners made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be frequenting Creole Cafe in the future!
