My son had a dentist appointment and…read morethe lady who did his xrays was very nice when dentist Kim walks in he told me his teeth were really bad he "probably" has 8 maybe 9 cavities I tried telling him my son has asthma and takes a lot of steroids which is known to cause tooth decay. He didn't listen instead proceeds to try and make me feel like a really bad mom for letting my son have cavities, he then takes a look at his teeth and tells him your a big boy stop acting that way my son was nervous because ofcourse any child would be... he then starts to pinch my son on his arm several times to let him know that's how its going to hurt so they can numb him. At this point I'm already upset but my son's teeth are bad so I'm trying to cooperate with them and tell my son to calm down it won't hurt him as he's getting ready to poke him to numb him he pinches my son again and instead of numbing his tooth he pokes his lip. The dentist then gets up angry telling us he won't be able to help us and to find another dentist and walks away. A police report has been filed and I have reported this to my son's insurance which is Cigna. I am so upset this dentist is so unprofessional and needs to be taken out of the dental field please avoid taking your children to this dentist and read all the other reviews I should have done that before.

I suppose that would be more money for them! Plus they didn't put through the necessary care I needed that my insurance would definitely cover. The billing person didn't put through from beginning to end the Care I truly needed for this one issue. Even though my insurance company told me they would cover it. They are the worst in dental care. They don't listen to their patients. Nothing was gone over what they were going to do before they summited to my insurance by the billing person. They added things that I was not aware of. I had to call my insurance and find out what they tried to put through. Yet didn't add the right information for the reason I need dental care . You can't get through to the office, when you finally do, they immediately but you on hold for 20 minutes or more. The girl that answers the phone is extremely dismissive, rude and never follows through on what she promises. She doesn't care about the patients that need immediate answers. She promised to call back and update me, same day, she never followed through, so I called back days later, only for her to dismiss me once again, She told me she was going discuss with the doctor, my concerns and she never did. Most unprofessional Dental office I've ever experienced. So disappointed with Gentle Dental in Perris! The dentist and staff need an huge professional upgrade. Question everything!
