My family and I had a very unpleasant experience with this business and in particular with the Office Manager Claire DelTufo. We hired them to fix a leaky pipe in my brother's home that we are trying to sell. After the first time around that the two men showed up to "fix" the pipe, my dad took a look at it later on and noticed it was still leaking so he called and asked them to come back - turns out another part was needed because the worker broke that part when trying to work on the pipe so my dad bought it and gave it to them to "finish" the job (we'll see if they decide to charge us for the part my dad bought with his own money based on the conversation I had with Claire which I'll get into momentarily.) We then find out that the pipe is still leaking because an assessor came in and mentioned it. So my dad fixed it as soon as possible as it was clear that Del Tufo Plumbing & Heating is unreliable. I then gave a call to the office and the first woman I spoke to was very pleasant but she said that Claire would have to give us a call back to get more information from us. A couple of minutes later, Claire called us and had an attitude straight off the back. When we explained what happened, she was like "Well what do you want? Money off the bill?". I of course said that would be nice since they didn't actually fix the pipe but she then refused that request in a very loud and aggressive tone. I then said ok to the denial of requesting money off the bill but then asked if she could provide feedback to the men that did the job since they did not actually fix the pipe and I do not want this problem to happen to someone else. She proceeded to scream at me about how she trusts her workers and doesn't understand why she should give them that type of feedback and that we should expect a bill soon. I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially if you need to deal with Claire as she is incredibly mean, rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional.

Kevin transparently and honestly told me I was better off getting providence water contacted for repairing some of it which I appreciated. When my boiler and radiator were leaking, Kevin's crew came out fast to look at it. Ultimately took a little while to get everything fixed but the guys worked professionally and efficiently to get the job done. The bill came in a little high for just patchwork (no new components or parts were used so it was 95% labor except for some plumbers putty) but it was lower than the "high end" of the quote I got. Despite the cost, the benefit here is you know what you're getting and that (so far based on my experience anyway) is an honest job and reliable company. So, if you're looking for the cheapest, fastest option you probably want to go elsewhere. If you're looking for a reputable company that tells you straight up what's going on, gives you an estimate and sticks to it, then Five Star is your company!

Absolutely horrible experience with Sureflow Rooter…read more We hired them for a sewer backup issue, and the situation became significantly worse after their visit. The basement was left with visible sewage contamination on floors, walls, pipes, and surrounding finished surfaces. Instead of properly cleaning and sanitizing the affected areas, the sewage appeared to have been smeared around the basement. What should have been a professional sewer service turned into a biohazard situation that now requires professional remediation and possible removal of contaminated materials. The technicians and management were extremely unprofessional throughout the process, and after we raised concerns about the condition the basement was left in, communication became dismissive and calls were repeatedly ended without resolution. If you are dealing with a sewer backup or any situation involving contamination in your home, I strongly recommend hiring a company that takes proper containment, cleanup, and customer safety seriously. Based on this experience, I would never use or recommend Sureflow Rooter again.

Sureflow did it without any issues. The second place wanted me to pay a dispatch fee which I didn't want to do if they also didn't want to open that panel. Sureflow didn't charge me a dispatch fee. The 3rd place no showed and when I called to figure out what happened, they were vague about when they would get to me. I called Sureflow and they came on time at our agreed upon date. I highly recommend Sureflow rooter and will definitely call Sureflow again with future drainage issue.
