I came home yesterday to find two men in my drive who told me they were there to clean my gutters. I told them the gutters had already been cleaned, and they agreed that the gutters were cleaned. But they had a work order. A work order that I never confirmed or signed off on. I called yesterday to try to resolve this and I was told someone would call back - no one did. Today I received an invoice for the work I did not want and was not needed. I called, and was told I would be called back. Instead I got an email from Kasandra Love, your GM, telling me that there was a work order, so you'd be charging me . You can't just say you have a work order and then send me a bill. That's not how business works. I called Kasandra and left a message. Someone else called me back, asked what I wanted, and then told me someone would call me back. If I had contracted with you to have the work done, this would be disappointing customer service. Since I'm not a customer, it's just disappointing in general. read more

We were quoted $150 dollars to lean gutters and downspouts. The work was done and we were billed $150 for the job. We obviously needed the work done due to the sludge that came out. This would have been a five star review if they would have cleaned up after themselves a little better. There's still gutter spatter all over the second story from splash up that wasn't washed off. However, I'm pleased because I feel like it was a very fair price for a job that was done well. read more

Called for a chimney sweep - The said to be available from 1pm until 5pm - At 5:20pm I called and was told that they would not be able to get to my job today. Re-scheduled for 9am the next morning - At 9:20 I called to make sure some one was coming - They said someone was coming and had left 20 minutes before (which is when they should have been at my house) - At 11:40am, I called and had them cancel the appointment. I entered into an agreement with Wellman interiors to clean my gutters on May 1. They said the work would be done in a week. I had not heard from them and decided to inquire on May 19th. They advised that they would get to it by the end of the month stating their crews may be working locations out of the area or may be out of state. At no time during the quotation process did they bring up there crews may be out of state.....otherwise I would have gone with someone local. The courtesy of a phone call would have gone along way to enhance their customer service but the GM said they don't call residential customers concerning scheduling delays. I can't speak directly about their actual service but would give their customer service and follow up a failing grade! read more

DO NOT USE this company! During the gutter cleaning, the Wellman Exteriors employee bent and/or dented almost everyone of my gutters. Some of my gutters are now hanging inches off my house and the rainwater just falls straight down. There was mud stuck to every side of my house. The leaf guards on the back gutters were broken and thrown in the yard. I emailed pictures to the office and was told my house is probably old and my gutters were most likely not secured correctly. Also that the contract is for cleaning the gutters but if the mud and leaves end up on the siding of my house it's not their problem. And if I didn't pay they will add 3% to my bill and turn me over to a collection agency read more

I would have rated this a one star, except the gentleman that did the service was very professional. The communication between you and the office, and the office and the field guys is extremely lacking. I had to follow-up one time to get someone out there to do the gutter cleaning, and an additional three times to get them to come out to fix the gutters because they didn't have time to clean and fix the gutters on the same day - even though that was on their ticket. I should have had a hint when I asked them to put me on the schedule and they said it was going to be the following week and couldn't give me a day or time. They just said they would give a call ahead. Seems like a very poorly managed schedule or process. When they were there they did a good job. However, it wasn't worth the headache of repeatedly calling back and getting empty commitments. I would rather spend the time to do the gutter cleaning myself or call someone else. read more

I used Wellman for a project at my previous house and was pleased with the work. I requested a quote for a project at my new home and received a fast response that an estimate would be provided. After a month, and many emails telling me I would have the estimate that day or the next, I still don't have the estimate. I certainly didn't need an immediate response, but I did expect to get something. read more

This company should not be used for tree removal. They damaged my property (I used Angie's list to get a coupon for their work) after dropping a tree trunk on our outdoor fireplace. They now want to bill me for a portion of the work, without replacing the stones. I have tried to work with them for the past 3 weeks to get this resolved using Angie's List. Will keep you updated on progress for resolution, after service provider posted a personal attack for all to see on Angie's List from 6/11/12 - 6/26/12, when they replaced that verbiage with a 'but we've told her twice the stones are coming around 7/2/12...' It's now 7/9 and still nothing's been fixed. It's now 7/16 and still awaiting word from the provider - no updates on the second set of stones they ordered...but since there's been no griping about paying for the stones but not being able to replace them, I assume they either weren't ordered or still haven't come in. read more

Had an existing chimney cap fall off. Was quoted and paid their minimum service charge, which is currently over $100, for someone to come out and put it back on. I was home when it was done, the worker was here less than 5 minutes. About a year later it fell off again. When I called to see if it was even attached rather than just placed back on top of the chimney I was told they have different workers all the time and I would have to pay the fee again (which has increased by about 30%) for the same work, and I was not permitted to speak to someone about the work completed. Was told that their "guarantee" is only for 30 days. read more

I had a terrible experience with these folks. I made my original appointment for the morning (8am-12pm) for someone to come sweep my chimney. I received a call around 11am that they would not be able to get to me that day, claiming that I am outside their typical service area (even though when I made an appointment, I was told this wouldn't be a problem). They asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day and I stated I would not take another day off of work in hopes someone would show up. I was then offered a Saturday appointment and 10% discount for the services. Wouldn't you know it, no one showed up to that appointment either, and this time without a call! After calling back to see what the deal was, I was again told that I was removed from the appointments for the day due to my location and asked if I wanted to schedule again. Who in their right mind would reschedule that appointment? Not this sane-minded individual. Lucky for me, they keep calling and emailing me to see if I would like to 'take advantage of their services.' What services would those be exactly, Wellman Exteriors? I'm yet to experience them and hopefully never will... read more

I would like to say this is a good company but they never did show up. I called to have my gutters cleaned, they said they would be out the next week due to weather. I agreed to this as this is understandable ( I guess. It hasn't rained but one day, but okay). Anyway the entire next week went by so I called back on Friday to see what the plan was, after all, I was told they would come the next week and that someone would give me a call when they were planning to come out. At this point no call or visit. When I called Friday they said they would come out tomorrow, which is a Saturday. I wondered if they were open on Saturdays, but if that is what they stated then that was fine with me. Well needless to say it is now the following Wednesday and I still have not seen nor heard from them. I get online to look up the number to call them and what do I see? Other customers within Yelp who have experienced similar situations. Nope I think I need to find someone else read more

hired to clean upper and lower gutters and repair work while i was not at home. paid $500 bill before realizing upper gutters were not touched and all repair work was not completed. i am not positive that all lower gutters and downspouts were cleaned either. do not let this company do work for you unless you are home to supervise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! beware!!! read more
