One of the things that I noticed with SSFCU is customer care and efficiency were a priority both in Drive-thru and inside. Recently, we went through drive at this location and received not the greatest experience we expect from SSFCU. The initial teller was polite and friendly, but the one that ended the transaction not so much. This particular teller had me come into the bank (totally defeating the purpose of us going through drive-thru) for what reason, who knows. There were no huge withdrawals- no withdrawals at all, but a deposit. Nothing out of the ordinary. There was one other banking customer in line and plenty of tellers open. Just as soon as I had walked in they gave me the receipt. Why was this even necessary? I understand things are changing in the way banks are doing business but at the very least efficiency and politeness should still be top of priorities. For the record, it was only us in drive and yes, we took into consideration inside customers. Again, there was one customer in line and tellers still open. While I don't plan on changing banks as that's just silly, I do travel an hour to get there and would appreciate timely, friendly service.

Over the last year and a half the ATM at this branch has been broken 75% of the time. I'm being…read moregenerous with that percentage. It's probably closer to 85%. Twice in the last month it would not let me deposit money even though it appeared to accept it. The chute opened back up and my money came flying out. With the wind I ended up having to chase after my money blowing away. Not being able to retrieve it all I had to go inside on the next business day because I couldn't get a $50 bill blowing across Evans Rd. Luckily they credited my account the $50 that went missing. This is the most convenient bank to my house and the one that I frequent the most but it's getting frustrating week after week not to be able to do my banking. When I brought it to the attention of the branch manager he just kind of shrugged and said yes we've been having problems with the machine. Well 12 months later the problems are still happening. They have been aware of the situation and will not replace the machine. I would like for this problem to be corrected so I can update my review back to five stars. Customer service applies at all levels whether it's in person or at the branch ATM. Come on Chase, do better!

In the end it was easier to get in the car, drive to the bank, ask the question in person. Technology is for the most part, ridiculous in my opinion. I liked it much better in the good old days. The Robotic replacement of human beings is totally for the birds. A complete waste of time and energy in most cases.
