If I could give this location and customer service 0 stars I would. The branch manager here has absolutely zero manners. After I arrived, the first thing he said to me was that he tried to call me multiple times in an unkind and hostile tone. I told him I received calls listed as "potential spam" this morning before my appointment, but nothing appearing from a Wells Fargo number or I would've answered. Mind you, I also got a text confirmation at 10am (after those "calls" he made) CONFIRMING my appointment. Why would the text confirmation occur if they had to cancel my appointment due to a sick call? He couldn't answer that. If I had gotten a cancelled appointment text, I would've called immediately rather than waste my time going to the branch location just to be told they couldn't fit me in, when they should've made arrangements accordingly. Mind you, when I later tried to call the branch to get his name, no one even answers the phone (and I tried multiple times), so even if I did call back, it wouldn't have done any good from the lack of phone service. He also had this full conversation with me in the waiting area standing and hovering over me, rather than being professional and asking me to come sit and talk/resolve the issue in his office space. The branch manager then blamed the other branch who helped me make this appointment last week, saying it was with the wrong person they made the appointment with, but also "claimed" he didn't even realize I needed a notary until I arrived and all of a sudden they called out "sick", too, in addition to the banker who called out "sick" earlier? It feels as if he makes things up to his own needs, instead of explaining what actually happened to cause the miscommunication or lack of staff/overbooking and apologizing for it. He placed the blame on everyone but himself. And then instead of helping me when I was upset and asked for someone else to speak to, because I didn't feel like he was being helpful or kind, he said he was the branch manager and there wasn't anyone else to speak with. (At this point he could've literally found ANYONE else with human compassion and a soul and their personalities would've been better than his awful one). He told me I had to make another appointment on the phone app or he could make one tomorrow. I told him I work nightshift, I can't do tomorrow (he continued to try to convince me to make an appointment the next day THREE times instead of listening to me that I couldn't come any other day this week due to my nightshift schedule). I repeatedly asked him why can't he call some other branches and help find me another location that might be able to squeeze me in (since you can't do same day online). He said that I can do more on the app and that I should do it that way. I told him I had no issues with the other branch making an appointment for me before, at which point he again said they did it wrong and he would be calling to report that person. I said even if he did it wrong, at least he tried to help me, which is more than I'm feeling at this point. I then was tearing up from frustration at how he was treating me and said I was upset and he was making me feel like I no longer want to bank with Wells Fargo. He then stood up and said "then I'm going to walk away now" and left me in the waiting room. Even if this was a scheduling mistake, this branch manager did NOTHING to make me feel like he cared about my situation or helping to make things right from a customer service standpoint. He's a disgrace to Wells Fargo and I hope they provide him with some serious re-education on what customer service means or better yet, find better employees to represent their business. The next WF location I drove to (immediately afterward) had no issue whatsoever helping me and providing good customer service with my situation, as well as compassion for the terrible experience I just had. This just goes to show you that the Hamilton Plaza branch and its manager have some serious customer service issues and my recommendation would be to avoid the Hamilton Plaza Wells Fargo at all costs. read more

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at approximately 9:19 a.m., I received a phone call from Wells Fargo Bank. Much to my surprise, I was informed that I had to reschedule my request for Notary Services from 12:00 p.m. to 10:45 a.m. Unfortunately, my home bank canceled my 10:45 a.m. appointment because I was 15 minutes late, and my 12:00 p.m. Notary Appointment was given to someone else. They then asked me if I wanted to reschedule at another bank. I declined because I did not want to risk encountering the same issue again. This is the worst wells fargo branch i have ever been to! We went yesterday and the teller (I cannot recall the name but she was heavyset, blonde with a high pony tail) was very rude. I could tell she was being very judgmental which is highly inappropriate as a teller in a branch. Today, I had to go again hoping for a better experience and they could not follow their own rules discriminating between personal and business customers. Their sign says only 1 roll of coins per customer so I asked for one. They went back on their sign and said only business customers. DO NOT GO HERE. You will be judged and humiliated, the bank on Hamilton is so much better. This one is so small, I wouldnt be surprised if it closes down especially with such horrid employees and poor management. Wells Fargo is stealing my money. I opened a CD account last year and before gets matured I called and requested to close down my account because they interest rate was .01! And I wanted to go with other banks. The guy who I talked to on the phone confirmed that he closed my account and said I will receive my cashier check in 2 weeks. When I was talking on the phone with him he was on speakerphone and my fiancé was next to me and heard our conversation. I am positive they have our conversation recorded due to training purposes. I also have all the timing and dates that I called them online in my call history. Long story short, I never received my cashier check so I called to follow up and they told me my account got renewed! THEY RENEWED MY Account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! So it was nice of me getting them a chance to close it down and give my money back but they aren't!!!! I opened a few cases so far and I keep getting rejected. THIS IS NOT LEGAL AND ETHICAL. During the pandemic stealing from people? Shame on you. It's been more than 3 months I am fighting and the results is nothing. WELLS FARGO DOESNT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO KEEP MY MONEY. If you have the same problem please reach out to me because I am about to sue this awful company and this is the only way to get my money back otherwise I am positive they are going to renew my account again just like this time that they did. read more

I stood in line for a teller because there was no one to help, or even ask for help. 20 minutes later after standing in line the teller says no one can open an account. The representatives on the 800 # who intentionally misinformed me and the digital limitations aside, I'm closing my account this weekend, mainly because an email to my account manager (who didn't bother to offer the promotion when I signed up) has gone unanswered for over a month and the email to the manager has gone unanswered for four days. I've been banking with Wells Fargo since 2010 and this branch seemed busy but very well-run. Someone was walking down the line, checking with everyone about their needs, and she pulled me out of the line and directed me to a manager who was very knowledgeable. This manager was the "above and beyond" type of person and he even suggested some easy ways for me to avoid fees and he literally saved me money right now without me asking. He seemed genuinely eager to help and even insisted that I sign my money orders unless I forget (because it happens all the time apparently!) It was all very quick but I felt like he helped me a lot over just a few minutes. This is how you take care of customers! Fast, helpful service. Very impressed. I wish I could go into the full detail of my experience but I just wanted to say that this location is doing an amazing job . The cleanliness and atmosphere are great . I went in on a Thursday , almost evening , and the wait time was less than a minute. Huge thank you to the staff , specifically Andrea and Jaime ! They went above and beyond to make sure my time inside was efficient , knowledgeable on things I did not know , and also executed solutions to the issues I was having . Very understaffed for bankers. There were 2 helping people and 2 just hanging out by themselves. The greeter was super nice and made sure I had what I needed before waiting. This is the absolute worst Wells Fargo I have ever been to. Everyone in here has terrible customer service and both my husband and I will definitely be closing our accounts and switching banks because of today. I went in to change my last name as I'm now married, the banker would not change my last name unless I showed him a marriage license even though my US passport and DL show my new name. Yet to open a new account all you need is an ID. WF again proves why CHASE has better customer service, where I was able to quickly do it with no problem. read more

Lines are long at this particular Wells Fargo branch and it literally takes almost an hour to get your banking done here. The ATM machines are absolutely FILTHY and can do to get cleaned once in a while... I don't know why they are so filthy but they can potentially be a health hazard for all the people who use them. Since most diseases are spread by the hands and so many grubby, grimy hands manhandle ATM machines whose not to say these aren't vectors for disease?! IT'S FLU SEASON, WELLS FARGO!!! This isn't just for Campbell store, this is for Wells Fargo as a whole. I used to be happy with this bank until they changed the requirements on my account and then I begin accruing fees. Then I call and try to fix my account to minimize the cost to me and get told that I have to change my account number in order to fix the problem. This meant that I had to change my checks, bill pay, and direct deposit and what ever else was linked to my account. Then one day when I finally have time to go in to the bank, the banker tells me the opposite. They can change the account without changing my account number. So overall, I get told different things by different people. Wells Fargo has had my business for over 13 years and I have never been so disappointed with such awful customer service. With banks trust is the number one factor in storing my money with them. At this point I can't say that Wells Fargo has my trust. read more

Overall, I love Wells Fargo as a company. However, this location isn't the best. The customer service is great inside and the people are very responsive and friendly. The reason I gave this place three stars is because of the tight parking lot and because it doesn't feel safe enough at the ATM machines. Unfortunately, I don't think there's much Wells Fargo can do to improve it, either. The parking lot is narrow, the spaces are skinny, it's a very busy area (car-wise), and to get back out to the main road you have to make a left turn with not much visibility to the left and the light is usually backed up anyway, so you have to wait for the light to cycle through. If you do manage to get in there and get a spot, the ATMs are right next to the front door and have all the usual aw unity measures, but often there is a homeless/beggar sitting pretty close by asking for money from the cars stopped at the light. I've never had a problem or heard of any incidents, but it is a little uncomfortable. TLDR: Parking and leaving the lot are pretty difficult tasks, and there are homeless near the ATM at times. Customer service and interior are on par with every other Wells Fargo. read more

SUPER HELPFUL!! Came in about 10 minutes before closing for a large cashier check. They were able to do it on short notice, thankfully, because I was in a rush to get to a car dealership. Unfortunately the dealership couldn't take the cashier check on account of their policies so the next day I returned to this location and they deposited the cashier check back into my account and were able to withdraw the total amount in cash instead. Holy crap these people saved me!! If I lived closer to this location it'd be my go-to for sure. I cant remember the teller manager's name or the tellers who helped me but they were seriously so patient and helpful! read more

He gave me all the information I needed, sent the fax for me(and gave me a copy) put up with my kids, gave me some financial advice after checking out my account and even walked us out the door. I had one experience here and it was more successful than planned. It was brought to my attention that I made some miscalculations and it rendered my account over drawn, but they reminded me how to manage it properly and in great time because I was in a hurry! It was great taking care of everything before it was too late and I was not late to work. My helpful bank teller was Darthy, I forget the name of the manager but she was very reassuring too! I recently was asked to participate in a survey through Gallup based on my experience here and there was no comment section for a personal review. So I wanted to take it upon myself to rave about the excellent service at this Wells Fargo. I moved into the area about 6 months ago and this bank has surprisingly blown me away. I never thought I would be writing a bank review but the level of service was something I couldn't ignore and I wanted to share it with others! From the moment you walk in you feel like you matter. Not in the way like they want to annoy you but these people are just kind, caring and attentive individuals who are seeking to help you but also are genuinely interested to just chatting it up. However, the team is very aware and that yes, some people don't care to speak and they respect those who just want to come in, get what they need and leave. Totally normal! But for those like me who truly enjoy s good casual conversation and have more questions beyond what I'm even there for. It's just awesome. These people are well educated in anything you are inquiring about or even if you are both chatting about how hot it is. I will continue to always go to the bank not only was the quick and speedy service but the awesome people that work there. You guys rock! read more

Ok, I lost my personal bag that had my checkbook and other important papers. More importantly, I was tracing my route that I took today that included that Wells Fargo. Unfortunately, there was an older man who shrugged his shoulders in a "who cares" kind of way when I asked him if he had seen my bag. I know that it wasn't their fault that I could not find my bag, but it felt as if nobody cared if I found it. I won't be going back to that Wells Fargo.
