Cell phone access used to be easy but now it wants to also do the "double check" and once you answer the text properly, it directs you to go back to the site - which is stuck on the verification page - so you log back in and get the same thing all over again! another verification request. I'm really disgusted at all these businesses making it impossibe to access your account online without a smart phone. Just don't lose your phone or you won't be able to access your account, unless you walk into the branch - something which seems to be discouraged. She knew my husband and I by sight and calmly explained our options. I've only had an account for 2 years and she still treated us as if we were valued clients. Contrast with Keybank where my family has had account for 30+ years and we were left standing for three hours and told that we, as mere customers, couldn't talk to anyone besides the personal banker whose service we had issues with. Banner may not be open on weekends but they won't try to upsell you every time you walk in the door and they will treat you not only as a person but as a called client

I was following up on a question the Bellevue branch had about a transaction I had made the day before. I tried calling the phone at the Bellevue Schwab branch but I could not connect with a person at the local branch. It seems Schwab has lost the importance of having a local branch to serve the people in the area. What could have been a simple call to a local representative ended up with me driving to the office. I don't believe it's a question of having people available because when I arrived at the local branch, three representatives were at the front desk. After finishing my business with one of the representatives, I tried calling from the lobby. I got transferred to Texas. I would ask Schwab to please pickup the phone and talk with your clients.
