I came into the Wells Fargo on Disc Drive in Sparks. The bank was beautiful. It just got remodeled 4 months ago and it was so nice, clean and upscale. I met with Associate Roving Personal Banker, Kristina Najar. She was kind, professional and she had a great personality. I ordered a new bank card and she answered all of my personal Loan questions. I felt that my banking experience was a Five Star Customer Service Experience. Also the new white chairs were so soft...like butter and the lobby was beautiful and upscale. I did ask the bank manager if I could photograph the lobby, but he said no. I do understand as a safety precaution. Anyway, the bank was quiet and I was able to speak to Kristina in between her appointments. So lucky for me. What a fabulous Banker and Banking experience today. As a roving personal banker, Kristina gets to go and work at many of the Wells Fargo branches. I was so lucky she was at Disc Drive today. Thank you so much. 2 tellers working at 2pm on a Friday. Line about 25 people and they can't staff enough on a Friday when they know everyone comes in to cash checks. Also I waiting in this line for 45 min just to be told there is no notary public available!! What bank doesnt have a notary available?? This location is one of the worst I've ever been to. It's a Very nice place it was very busy the day that I went in but I still had one of the ladies that works there help me reset my password so I can use the mobile app and reset my pin to use my account. There wasn't much workers but they're doing really good for the staff that they have very friendly staff. I'll be coming here regularly. read more

I have been a Wells Fargo banker for over 40 years, today I feel like I have been raped of my money! I made a large deposit from the passing of my father, Wells Fargo is holding it for 12 days! I was informed it would be up to 7 days, let's just add an additional 5 days so they can use the money! I've been with Wells Fargo for 23 years and while some personnel in other locations have been far less than helpful; Travis as this location was great. This location does not answer their phones (even the Wells Fargo representative from the main office could not get them to answer; they simply don't do it). So, I drove there and Travis was extremely helpful. I hope that a positive review does not get him fired; Wells Fargo usually does not put up employees who are customer-service oriented. read more

This location is convenient and located on the corner of Disc Dr. They have plenty of parking since they are located in a small strip mall. They also have drive-thru ATMs and banking services. If you bank with Wells Fargo this is a easy location to access your funds. read more

So - I move to Reno only to discover that Washington Mutual only has a mortgage branch here. No banks. Since I will be here for a while and I'm not keen on mailing deposits and paying ATM fees, I decide it's time to switch banks. I stop into this branch of Wells Fargo and spend a very pleasant 20 minutes with a very nice service agent opening a savings and checking account. Flash forward one week and my welcome statement arrives...with my name spelled wrong and BACKWARDS! Hmmm...I should probably fix this before the IRS or Homeland Security come knocking...... I go in to this branch and the very nice, but apparently stupid, service agent is busy with someone else. I sit and wait. 2 minutes later a different, somewhat less nice service agent asks if he can help me. Off we go to his cubicle where I explain the problem. At which point he tells me he is leaving for a doctor's appointment and will do his best to fix it in the 30 seconds he has before he 'MUST LEAVE OR BE LATE!' Can you guess what happens next??? That's right! He messes it up. And meanie me has to force him to stay at his desk and actually do his job for another 2 minutes, making him late for his ride to the doctor and kicking off ARMAGEDDON. So far, banking with WF has been fine - it's a major financial institution, what else would you expect? But I think I'll only be using the ATM at this branch from now on. read more

The bank tellers are always extremely polite. I love how they say ''I'd be happy to help you here" I feel like they are really professional. It's convenient for the area that I live in. They have a drive through and drive up atms for 24hr banking purposes. Just an FYI for those that didn't know you can upload checks via mobile on the app! I do it all of the time. She was rude and didn't want to help me, told me to wait next time for the merchant window to open up, which was closed but she said the person next to it would take care of the merchants. Every other teller has always called me forward in these circumstances. While there was also NOBODY else in line anywhere. And another teller was open as well. Yes, a line formed while she was helping me but the teller next to us helped 3 people go through the line before the "merchant window" she wanted me to wait at opened up. The location of this bank is a little out of the way for me but not too bad. However, my experience at this location is never the greatest. The staff here seem to be in a rush to get people. What I mean by that is they look at you and smile but you can tell the look on there face is why can't this day be over. Anyways I needed a personal banker so I sat in their waiting area. I was the only one and noticed more people are coming over to sit. Well this personal banker comes up and I'm think finally we've been here a while. We this couple that arrive no more then a minute or two started talking to the banker. I was sitting right next to them so I ended up hearing their conversation. Since the personal banker knew them he automatically took them back. Oh and since I was sitting there, I know that they did not have an appointment set. Or I don't think I would have gotten that mad. What the heck I've been here for like 15 minutes or so. I had a little one with me and his attention span is short. Those of you who have children can relate:-) so the next banker comes and another person jumped up right away before the banker said anything and they walked back. Ok I'm mad at this point. So finally three times a charm and this banker ask a specific question and I was the only one who answered. The guy seemed nice and took me back. We were there for about 5 minutes and I was done. When walking out I felt relieved and leafy because I finally got called for my turn! read more

I worked with a personal banker Kyle W. What a great guy. I had some issues with my new account. I called Kyle took my call. He quickly realized there was a problem. He set up a time for me to meet him. I of course got busy and couldn't make it. (Forgot to tell Kyle) He called me and changed my time to later in the day. Once I got there he was very nice, went above and beyond for me. I can't say enough good about my experience working with Kyle. Hope he sticks around. Recommend this place, ask for Kyle. Had an issue with a deposit. After several phone calls to my usual branch which just flat out refused to help (disc drive) I then went to the Kietzke location. The office manager Sheree was more than willing to do what she could without breaking an rules. It really helps when you get a persona like this backseat banking can be so frustrating. Having someone who knows what it's like to be a customer, and then uses their powers for good instead of evil. I really was considering switching banks. But after this interaction. Then I sat there waiting way longer than I needed to, to simply view an account and move stuff around. Every person I talked to treated me like I was wasting their time. This Wells Fargo is one of the better ones that I've used. The tellers are usually pretty friendly and rarely make mistakes. I once was given an extra $100 while cashing a check, which I returned. The biggest issue I have with this location is the placement of the ATM machines. The one on the South side, next to all of the drive-thru teller windows is fine. But the ATM on the West side of the building is almost useless. You either have to get out of your vehicle or do the whole forward and reverse thing a couple times to try to jimmy your vehicle over enough to reach the screen. The nice thing about that is there is rarely anyone else using that ATM. I stopped by yesterday to pull out some cash. There was 4 cars in line at the South ATM and none at the other. So I pulled up, jumped out and did my transaction before the first car in the other line was even done. Anyway, the inside of the Bank is pretty nice and was redone recently. I will continue to use this location as needed. read more

The most recent experience I've had at this location was pretty horrible. The company as a whole is going downhill and losing a lot of customers and I now understand why. As a former employee and current customer; I shouldn't have to come into a branch or call the phone bank and explain to them what needed to be corrected on my account to avoid a monthly service fee. That's why bankers go through six weeks of extensive training, apparently that's not enough though. The second situation I faced was working with THREE different bankers to process beneficiary services. I had to call the Disc Dr. branch (where I initiated my transaction) multiple times to see the status of a refund and check deposit hold. I finally went into the branch because nobody had the decency to call me back. Come to find out they hadn't bothered depositing the check. During the process of going through multiple bankers, they kept my mother's death certificate and shredded it. Death certificated cost around $12 per copy, so thank you Well Fargo for shredding $12. They don't even need to keep an original copy! Completely horrible customer service. The COE Tim Sloan should be ashamed of this location and probably many others. During this process each banker I interacted with gave me a different answer to being able to process a dispute. The second banker assisting me claimed to have done "everything as your banker" that she could do, which was nothing. This specific banker added the branch manager and another banker to the email, so I fired back, obviously pissed off that they were not helping me, let alone communicating with me or one another. Nobody on that email had the decency to respond because they knew they screwed up. The Disc Dr location has gone to complete crap since Michelle came in to "manage" it. Nobody in there cares unless it's something to benefit them. I walked in one day and banker greeted me by saying hi, watched me sit in the lobby and asked me if I needed a banker. Obviously, or I would have gone to the teller line. I'm disgusted with this place and will be changing my accounts over to a credit union where they actually care about their members. Wells Fargo has screwed so many people, customers and former employees. I would NEVER recommend this place to bank or work at. read more

So, last week I set an appointment with a business advisor to apply for a SBA loan. I show up for the appointment and the gentleman tells me that they don't do those in house, that he will take my information and pass it on to a corporate advisor where they will contact me and discuss the loan. He then proceeds to write my information down on a few sticky notes (not a form or anything formal) and ask me how much money I have to put down. What!? Why would I give you money for a loan so you can give it back to me, with me paying interest on it too boot? I understand that the guy may be new, but he should at least understand how SBA loans work. And if you're not going to do the loan "in house", then just take my information over the phone. Don't make me drive over for a 5 minute meeting where you tell me you can't do anything. And, to top it all off, it's been a week and I haven't heard anything back from the advisor. read more
