From last month when I had something come up at their ATMs outside to when I walked in shortly all interested in opening a bank account. Patty and Aleena begun with nothing but utter care and compassion for my well-being especially when I expressed interest in opening an account. Today, Patty continued to demonstrate care and well-being, Leslie was quick to welcome me and walk me through all the steps and got me in and out in no time before I knew it with opening a new bank and credit card account. My cousin who just came to the states and has all legal documentation in order was questioned about opening a new bank account with Wells Fargo . I had to educate the banker about a green card , and that it means he is legal here in the United States . He said he couldn't have a social security number with a green card which is completely false . Our appointment was at 12:00pm and it's currently 12:10 and the Banker stepped out , not treating us like actual people . I am a United States citizen and have over 3 million dollars with chase and keep a small account of 20,000 with Wells Fargo for business purposes . Always a quick stop here, whether depositing or withdrawing cash at the atm. Always clean outside and seems like a safe area. Machine never gives me a problem except for when it is doing a self maintenance or is being serviced. You can either drive thru or walk up for atm. I only have to go inside once in a great while. When I do, the inside is really clean and the bankers are really nice and so tremendously helpful! I do recommend this branch if you live in the area or have Wells Fargo and just need to make a quick transaction or two! read more

I band at WF because my sister and I have a business account. I have never been impressed with their service. Today while in the Upland branch I was waiting in line with no one behind me. One other person infront of me. Two patrons left and we move forward to the open teller positions. One of the tellers stayed open to help, the other quickly put up her "go to next Teller sign". Then sat there doing paper work, really she could not remain open and help the last customer in line? This is so typical of this bank and their service. I have been in their before on other issues. Some of the tellers are fantastic but I think its time to find a new bank. read more

I've only been to this Wells Fargo Bank in Upland maybe once or twice. It's really not on my way to my Mom's house or on my way home. But if I happen to be in the vicinity and I need to get some banking transactions taken care of, then I'll drop in. Anyway, it's a decent size bank. Not too many bank tellers available when I was here. Luckily, I wasn't in a hurry to get some place otherwise I would have went somewhere else. I normally don't walk into a bank to get stuff done unless I have to. I prefer to use the ATM... it's just more convenient. Staff was okay. Transaction was smooth. Don't know when I'll be back again. We had an appt today 8/03 @ 9am. We show up early as we are coming all the way from Victorville. For the bank to call us 5 mins before our appt to say that gal who was going to attend to us is not coming in. Very unprofessional. We never received a call about our appt being rescheduled. Very odd they wouldn't honor an appt when someone calls off. Why put it on the customer?. That's an internal issue and if someone calls off there should be someone else to assist the customer. Why would you only have two tellers working a Friday rush hour when it's over 90 degrees outside? A woman almost passed out and an elderly man was standing for what I think is too long . It just doesn't make any sense to not staff a branch appropriately. This happens every time I come to this branch. It doesn't show that they care about their banking customers . I had an uncommon situation where I was given a $20 as part of change at a local grocery store. Unfortunately, I didnt notice while there that the $20 bill was mutilated because it was ripped and missing approximately 1/5, before leaving the store. So you could totally tell it was what it was, just missing a small part in my opinion (I wish I had a picture to show). I went to this Wells Fargo location in Upland because it is my banking institution and figured they would not have a problem exchanging it. Back story, I used to work at a bank and knew there was a "mutilated bill" stack that was able to be exchanged by the bill (provided the bills were recognizable). I asked the teller if I could exchange it and she said No, and asked if I have tried exchanging it at a grocery store :( I said no because I did not want to necessarily be going around from store to store or bank to bank seeing who would take it during the pandemic. Long story short, her supervisor Roxanne was able to approve the exchange. It did make me feel bad at first because I was a long time loyal customer and didnt think this was a big deal. Today. I got a call from the branch manager, Patty, and she was super PROFESSIONAL and POLITE, Understanding, and made sure I had been taken care of. She appreciated the feedback and said they would use that so that policies are executed consistently. I am sharing this because I was completely impressed with Patty's service, acknowledgement, and professionalism. She went a step further and notified me of the updated branch hours moving forward. I would give zero star if there is an option for the service that they gave us today. I've a premium bank account (PMA) with Wells Fargo for more than 10 years. And, today I scheduled to open a new saving account. I didn't select any specific bankers. And, Antony (at first, he said he was not comfortable to provide his name because he knew what he did bad to us) was a banker to service us. He was rude, and seems to be racist to us. He provided the service with bad attitude. So, we talked to his manager name Roxanne Reed. She was supporting him, and also rude, and not willing to help us. So, we decided to go another bank. When I arrive at the branch and meet someone at the door telling me that they need to close because there are no tellers to conduct transactions, I'm looking to transfer funds to another bank that is solvent. The absolute worst branch, they are always understaffed and can never do anything besides basic deposits and withdrawals. They always say you need an appointment and don't have anything available for days. Would reccomend saving yourself time and going to a different branch. read more

After almost 20 years banking with Wells Fargo, today I walked To cash a check the teller Roxanne Reed (sahift manager) wrote on the back of my check then to tell me that she cannot cash it. It's a Federal Treasury check safe to cash anywhere. But now no bank will touch my check because she wrote her numbers on it. Lack of her training is unacceptable! She should have not wrote on my check BEFORE telling me she can't cash it. Came here as a walk in to fix the bank account they opened incorrectly. They told me that the wait would be unknown because they have appointments and are booked for the day. I didn't have time to wait so I booked an appointment for another day. On the day of the appointment I walked in five minutes early and then was finally greeted after waiting fifteen minutes. I told them I have been waiting for my appointment and they said they are behind. I asked them do they have a timeframe of how long the wait will be and the banker said he has no idea... will update how long it actually takes for me to be see. I am giving a 4 stars for a worker; not the bank. Erik Reyes stepped in to help us close accounts for our mother who passed. All went so smooth and he knew just who to talk to, rules, laws and took excellent care to close accounts. Otherwise, I think we would have had a lot of wasted time and unnecessary court time that was needed due to some inexperienced ones. I recommend talking with him if you have issues. This is the worst bank I have ever been to, first the atms don't work and then when you go inside you're made to wait. I have a disability so I was told to sit at window 8 where I waited for 18 minutes and then the guy who helped me was more worried about his break then doing his job. Thank God there are more Wells Fargo than this one. I will never come to this bank ever again. think i get mixed feeling for my bank.. never had any good experience with any banks so far.. since I have all the bills on auto pay/bill pay trying not to lose the payment history but if I can get all those transferred i think I would move my bank to like a credit union or something.. filed a dispute for something I didnt authorize but only answer I got back from the bank was that since there is a signature in the signature line that I was liable to pay for that... BUT COME ON... This branch is not one of them. I went in, and it was obvious by the look I got from them, they wanted to not help me and go home. They didn't help me. When they finally came back to talk to me, they said their systems were already shutting down. That was a lie. Rude guy walking around the floor like he's owns the place. He was also bleeding from his face and walking around with napkins to his face. I don't think that's very professional. Leave the floor if you're bleeding. No one wants to see that. He should NOT be the face that customers see when they first walk in. I went in this week to make a deposit and see what I could do about getting my fees removed from my checking account. They started charging $15 on my checking once my home loan was paid off. I spoke with Ron who has always been helpful. He found a way to remove several months of fees and changed my checking account type so I would not be charge if I either maintain $1500 balance in one of my accounts or use my ATM card 10 times in a month. Stop paying those fees! They won't offer if you don't ask. read more

Maria asked me to come to the bank for "Mortgage Day" and provide listings from Evergreen Realty & Associates, Inc. for Upland, Rancho Cucamonga and a few of the surrounding cities. I was to be there for only a couple of hours during the middle of the day. I ended up spending the entire day at the bank. I greeted their customers, met new people and had a wonderful day. A friend of mine had a terrible experience with the bank, I told him to come into the bank while I was there and to speak to Maria. I've been with Wells Fargo.since 1980. I feel very at home at this branch. I really like Ron. He works in the accounts section and really, really knows his stuff. I'm disabled and when he sees me he gets me set up with a teller as fast as possible. He greets customers. He's such a delight. Wells Fargo gave me two overdraft fees of $35.00 ea. on Christmas Day!! At no time was my balance negative and I made deposits just prior to Christmas but they didn't post them until after and charged me two overdraft fees. They would NOT work with me, and after much persistence on my part they GRACIOUSLY excused one. All I can say is CREDIT UNION. It was so important for Wells Fargo to screw me on Christmas for $35.00 dollars that they are going to loose my business account forever. Can we all say CREDIT UNION. Not worth a rating!! I couldn't post without one. I went in this branch to cash a check from a trust drawn on this bank (I am not a customer). I was so badly treated, it was as if I was a thief trying to cash a bad check!!! I had 2 pieces of ID and they refused to cash the check!! Stopped for my usual business; which always requires "teller assistance," the manager came over and assisted. Then the teller asked me about renter insurance because I was getting a Cashier check for my rent. She then referred me to Carl (I think) who helped me look at insurance options! Seamless customer service from start to finish. I know the are required to up sell but I didn't feel like I was being haggled to buy. That was a refreshing change! Great job to all the staff who was extremely courteous . I had recently hurt my back and I was helped to the door and to my chair. A+ read more
