Then a dentist again no real introduction comes to look at it. They were very excited about this. You know why? Because they wanted to charge me $325 for the extraction. But my insurance covers extractions 100%. They also wanted to charge me $235 for a cleaning. My insurance pays 100%. They're scammers and rip off artists. Do not, I beg you, do not go there or trust them. When I said no the insurance verification gal walked me to the door and said good by. Great customer service. She called me sweetie and within 2 minutes felt like it was her job to give me her "shpeal" as she put it about bring my CT scan and that I needed to do that and not always does their system work or can they log into Wellstar. I was trying to explain to her that it was an old CT scan and then she stated "Well then we don't need that and it doesn't matter" after cracking her knuckles and berating me. She was snappy and rude. My husband even was shocked at how she was speaking to me. I told her I would speak to my Dr about these matters at which time she just looked at me like I was being rude. She didn't realize at all that I have been in the medical field for 30 plus years and would never speak to a patient this way. She continued to talk to me like she was my Dr! at which time I again said, I will speak to my Dr about these things. Then she kind of laughed and walked out of the room with a huff. I did mention this to my very wonderful Dr. who was very professional and listened. I will stay a patient. Even when checking me out the MA came in, rolled her tongue over her teeth, cracked her neck with a head roll, and proceeded to ask me (thank God) yes or no questions about getting an MRI. Thank God I'm very well versed in all of this procedure so it was short. She really needs a class on speaking to patients that are in pain and new to the facility. I went to Dr. Holtz to have a Cyst removed from my finger…read more Dr. Holtz wasn't recommended to me, rather I found him through my provider Directory. My Insurance provider directory had some reviews of Dr. Holtz, no verbiage though, just stars. I scheduled an appointment with him and over the course of our appointment, he examined the Cyst, its location on my finger and came to the conclusion that removal would be straightforward and there was minimal to no risk. The surgery was routine; unfortunately, the outcome was not. I was left with permanent numbness in portions of my finger, along with another lump caused by the procedure which I now have to have removed. Doctor Holtz never saw me after the procedure, instead I was directed to and seen by his PA. His PA insisted that the lump was just run of the mill swelling, I suspected otherwise and was right, something I find abysmal considering I am not a medical professional. His PA was unprofessional in other ways as well, telling me that He was going to write a referral for hand therapy and then following through 3-4 weeks laters when I finally got a call from someone. This despite me calling twice attempting to follow up and never receiving a call back. I sought a second opinion concerning the numbness, and was stunned when the Hand Surgeon who provided the second opinion told me that the numbness was likely caused by poor surgical procedure. More specifically, I was told that the type of incision Dr. Holtz made was not appropriate for the location of the Cyst, did not properly expose the anatomy of my hand and very likely led to unnecessary disturbance of the nerve causing the permanent numbness. Had Dr. Holtz made the appropriate incision type (trap door), it is likely that I wouldn't be in the position I now find myself in, forced to go to another surgeon to correct the surgery Dr. Holtz performed. My experience all around was awful, and I would not recommend Dr. Holtz to any of my friends or loved ones.

Since I've been going twice a week per my treatment plan my neck pain has all but vanished I haven't had a single migraine which also means I haven't had a need to take any medication. And the doc is genuinely interested in how you're doing as a whole person which is an awesome change of pace. Everything is so efficient and runs smoothly. Part of treatment is the relaxation room which has quickly become my favorite part of the whole week. So I genuinely look forward to going to the doctor. A few years ago prior to extensive shoulder surgery, I Googled "best shoulder physical therapy near me." What I ended up finding was the best group of therapists I could hope for. Since then, both my husband and I have continued to see them to heal from more shoulder surgeries and my two hip surgeries in the past six months. Fortunately these hip surgeries occurred in two calendar years because my insurance only allows 20 sessions per year -- period. (Don't get me started on the lunacy of that!) I work with Laura V. most often and Amanda as my therapists with DJ or Abigail as my usual aide. From the front office staff to everyone in the therapeutic area, everyone is so professional and kind. Should you have any need for physical therapy (and who doesn't?!) and live in the Acworth area, this is your place. I have referred them to so many friends, and I am happy to post this review.

It's super common in breastfeeding moms and super easy to treat. All I need is a prescription for 14 days of Diflucan or generic and it will go away. Baby got an oral prescription already from her doctor. We have to be treated at the same time or we will just pass it back and forth forever. Today I managed to get my super busy mother in law to come by and watch baby so I could go to an urgent care. I didn't want to take the baby to sit in a room full of sick people. Filled out forms, waited about 30 minutes and get to see the doctor. I tell him what the problem is and he fucking tells me I'm wrong and that its IMPOSSIBLE for me to have thrush in my milk ducts. I tell him its common and the pediatrician even confirmed it she just couldn't write me a prescription. He tells me I'm wrong and I have mastitis and don't know what I'm talking about. I was never even examined. He ignored everything I said and finally told me he couldn't help me and acted like an asshole and told me he would do me the favor of not charging me and I could just go. I'm so mad. What a waste of time and I still no prescription. I can't even just give up and suffer because it could turn into a bad case for baby and make her really sick. I am literally crying right now because all I want to do is see a doctor and get help and apparently Dr. Carlson can't help me. He should just stick to his sports physicals but I probably wouldn't even trust him to do that.
