Quaint country atmosphere offering many baked on-site treats and homemade jellies, sauces, salad dressings. The cashier at the front of the store offered us samples of raw honey and apple cider....of course had to buy both! You can also find common staples there like milk and eggs. We were driving towards freehold mall and saw this orchard on the traffic signal .. we turned in to see what's in the store. There were actually lots of "home made" eatables - like bread/ cakes / Pies / honey etc. I bought a couple of cakes , as it seemed to be fresh . Tasted ok.. we don't eat egg and the cake had a lot of egg-smell. It's ok to put egg in cake but many shops that we tried don't get the egg smell. There is also a cafe and wine tasting room in this orchard. They sold vegetables , soaps and many other items . Love coming to this farmers store /bakery. This is the last place to actually get non modified /GMO free pies. I came here after refusing to buy cider donuts at Battleview due to their recent changes to mass production of their pies and modified food ingredients. Wemrock isn't Aldi's for those ridiculous reviews arguing prices and pie size. Not sure why you even came to a farm for a farm fresh pie and then complained about the price or size. Farm fresh means from farm to table and in this Farm's case Non GMO or another word Not Bioengineered and No Modified food starch. The bakery is always busy items are baked fresh on site and to order. The country store carries or makes limited ingredients goods, local produce, fresh eggs, and Amish goods from country kitchens without hazardous preservatives or phosphates. I was able to pick up a few things between the cider donuts the fresh cider, a bottle of wine from the on site tasting room, some small batch homemade ice cream, apple jelly, apple butter, and an apple pie. First of all the apple pie was very fresh and it tasted fresh! The cider donuts everyone was great from the plain doughnut to the cinnamon sugar to the white powdered, granted the plain doughnut was my favorite it's a little bit of apple butter on it or some of the small batch ice cream I picked up. People need to educate themselves exactly what the difference is from grocery stores, mass manufacturers and that of small local farmers that still follow the old ways of making goods. It may not be for everyone because budgets do dictate what people are allowed to buy but education on knowing who produces your food and what's in it can benefit all. read more

They Advertise that they care about their customers?! Trying to reach out to the manager for well over three weeks. Left messages with multiple staff. I won't list their names, but at least one staff member said they would leave a note for the manager. Others said I would get a call back. Never got a callback ... ever. I reached out again and again and again. Reached out via social media, and it comes back as undeliverable. (So I wasted at least an hour of my time/effort writing a note that will never be seen). :-( Completely ridiculous... How hard is it to take 10 seconds and call the customer back? In the last three weeks I have almost sold a house. I had a sibling go to ICU and be diagnosed with lymphoma of the brain. I have celebrated multiple milestones with family. I have done 1 billion things and a lot of them were life-changing, and yet if I had a business I would STILLL be able to spend 20 seconds to call a customer back. I wanted to upgrade my review from three stars to at least four if not five. Didn't wish to downgrade it but even despite my prior help with you and my further attempts to reach out, not even a single call back let alone resolution of the issue. Why are three one-star reviews "hidden"?! Is it true that the pies are not made locally and are made in another state like Ohio as another yelper said?! That might explain a lot about the taste of the recent pies I had. Doesn't explain the high price-point though! read more

Wemrock Orchards had been a frequent place for us We bought pies from them on the way to the New Jersey shore. The last time we were there, which was today October 26, 2025 my wife was checking out and gave an American Express card to the cashier who looked like and acted like a woman of authority, possibly the owner or a manager. She had pulled back brown hair and middle aged. She said to my wife after she had rung up the money that there's a 3.25% charge for American Express cards. My wife said I was just here two weeks ago and you didn't have that charge and she said well we do now all the stores are doing it. My wife said to her well you didn't tell me you didn't give me a choice and the woman said well I'm telling you now so now you know. If I had been in the store, I would've told her to take the groceries and stick them where the sun don't shine, but I wasn't in there and I heard this after the fact, but I will never go back there again and I hope people read this and watch carefully for this woman with the pulled back brown hair and the nasty attitude. On a $60 bill they made a whole $190 on their little fee tack- on. Hardly worth smarting off at a customer that you will lose forever. we must've purchased 200 pies over a 10 year period from them. read more

Passed this place for years and never went in......Small with a limited selection of preserves,bakery items and crafts but the focus seems to be on their wines. Got the Apple Cider donuts and was sorely disappointed.... stale, overly sweet and had not the slightest trace of apple cider but enough powered sugar to choke a toad and mess up my car's upholstery. Wanted to try something other than Delicious Orchards so came here. It is in a weird location fyi. I got some pies from here and they were delicious. They are filled to the brim and weight heavier than they look. They have all sorts of treats too. The donuts are better than delicious orchards in my opinion. (Went on 10/10/21) Another cheat day craving! I wanted apple cider donuts for about 4 days leading up to the day I went. Yelped a few places and decided on Wemrock. It appears they have a winery on site which looked pretty cool to check out but I went strictly for the sweets! The actual venue is typical for an orchard. Very inviting and all the smells from the different baked goods were amazing. I got the donuts but also decide to try a few others items(haha). In addition to the donuts I brought a double chocolate chip muffin, sugar free banana nut muffin, sugar free blueberry muffin, an apple muffin, and chocolate covered coffee beans! Now I did not eat all of this, haha. Just sampled a bite of each(again it was cheat day!). The donuts were as expected. Sweet, light, flavorful, I felt I could have eaten at least a dozen. All of the muffins were fresh and tasteful. My favorite was the double chocolate chip. The chocolate covered coffee beans were different, haha. But addicting. I felt like I just kept eating them through the day for some reason! All and all, good decision for cheat day and a nice spot. read more

The morning started at Battleview Orchards (which was teetering on madness with the sheer amount of people - not to mention way too many of them decided they didn't need to wear a mask at all, which is a shame) and their store (about a quarter-mile down from the apple-picking portion) was just as hectic. That led us here... to Wemrock. From the outside it didn't seem like much (no offense) but just as you're stepping over the threshold - that smell.  That divine aroma of all that is holy and baked and sugary and autumn-y. When my family grabbed our hand-carts to start shopping another customer stopped in front of us, "You'll gain ten pounds just walking in this place!  That's why I only come once a year!", and then she magically disappeared (I'm not even kidding).  And she was right. This corner has Tomasello Wines, the other corner has a crew trying to keep up with the fresh apple cider donuts (which was impossible as the store started to get full), another corner has all sorts of small-batch jams and jellies, not to mention fresh veggies and various baked goods on every table. $80 dropped in a matter of minutes and we made a beeline for my car to rip open one (of four, cause we're greedy and live too far away) of the cider donut bags and... perfection.  Fresh and warm and cinnamon-sugared throughout.  Later when we arrived home we cracked open their apple cider and it was reminiscent of walking through an orchard... simple and fresh and clean. He's saying this from the backseat of my car, where he and the NMT were watching YouTube videos while we drove to relatives' in Central Jersey. We were following my sister, the FDC, and her hubby, Pastor Baby Back Ribs (of the Church of the Unabashed Carnivore), and FDC had indeed turned into the parking lot of Wemrock Orchards. The orchard store is rather unassuming in many ways, a one story building of painted wood straddling a corner, signs along the side of the road as you approach declaring things like "fresh baked pies!" and "local produce!". We enter and it is very much a country store, with displays of wonderful smelling baked goods - pies, breads, cookies, Irish Soda Bread and the star of the show: Apple Cider donuts. Intermixed are other items, including the soothing smells of handmade organic soaps, hand dipped chocolates, bags of chips, etc. I picked up some soaps, a bag of the donuts and some hand dipped chocolates. The donuts, as I say, are the star of the show: doughy but not dense, delicious mix of apple and spice and sugar. The hand dipped chocolates were also quite good, with quality products. The soaps make my shower an aromatic experience, and they leave my skin soft too. We came here on a split decision drive by and saw this inviting farm store. The place did not disappoint! Lots of produce, cider and other home made goods to choose from but I made a beeline for the cider donuts. They make them fresh and in the back you can stand and watch how it's done. We came late so it looked like the donut area was getting ready to shut, when I spied blueberry flavored donuts too! The lady had one last bag of half apple cider and half blueberry so I grabbed it! Yeah!!! Lovely donuts with sugar and cinnamon coating! I paid cash otherwise I would get charged a fee for using the plastic. Excellent salsa all the salsas are amazing the corn and bean is really too good to put down! They definitely have fresh veggies, baked goods ; coffee; and other things I'm surely forgetting. Plenty of parking making it easy to walk in and out. One thing that makes an extra great stop is the wine store in the front so far I have not had a bad wine from it;) Currently with covid19 they have curbside pick up and hand sanitizer in the store; so precautions are being taken to make us feel safer. Love this little farm. I got a few pies for the holidays here and grabbed an Apple strudel and some pickles and fruit. Let me tell you about that apple strudel...wow! It is perfect, fresh, flakey and all the yumminess. My husband looooved it. The pumpkin pie was great and well balanced, and the apr crumb is great. They even have no sugar added options. Everything you could want in a smaller size, charming country store with fresh, local produce and more importantly the sweets!! It's like taking a page right out of a movie script, this country store reminds you of days past, with an enchanting store front surrounded by a hilly parking lot making you feel like you've traveled back in time. Stepping inside is amazing! This small store could not be better laid out! Yes you can find all of the local produce you could care for, fresh apples, berries, vegetables. But the real reason most come here is for their famous pies, donuts, pastries, and local honey, and so many more goodies! Their selection of local honey is pretty large, with lots of varieties. If you like honey you should check this place out! This is without a doubt many locals' favorite country store! To be honest they don't carry my favorite pies or donuts, but they are excellent here. I picked up a apple pie yesterday because I was in the area. Brought it to my dads house. His girlfriend also picked up an Aldi's apple pie. I hate to say it but this is probably the worst apple pie I have ever had. So disappointed when you cut open it looked terrible. Was $15 and I just threw the pie in the garbage. If you take a look at the Aldi's apple pie it's just was so much more appealing. My go to place to pick up apple pie is twin Pond. I firmly stand by that they Have the best pies around. Whemock gift baskets are top of the line! Brenda helpped me go through the many items they have to pick out ones I specifically thought my father would like. She also put me in touch with Tomosello wines which I was able to purchase 3 and have them added to the basket they were making my father for Christmas..Lisa the designer, was able to get creative and find great items I might not have picked out myself and really put together a tremendously wonderful basket. It was delivered right on time with a hand written card for that extra touch.. I'm so glad I went with a local farm who cares about their customers and the high quality of work they do. I finally did last month with Mini-Me, what a sweet country store!! I love that they have all these jars of jams, jellies and pickled veg's, but I really appreciated the honey selection. Local Honey, honeycomb and local bee pollen on the East Coast seems to be about $2-$3.00 more on average, the what I used to pay for on the West Coast, but the value is still worth the price and quality is 100% choice. I love creamed honey with smooth peanut butter on wheat toast, it is a delicious way to start the day. I purchased a beautiful apple pie and some tasty breads as well as pastries. A few small pumpkins for my Boerboel to eat as a holiday treat. The coffee area was closed, since We arrived a but late, but Mini-Me purchased a handful of the flavored honey straws for herself and cider donuts. The staff was mad busy with customers but they still had big smiles for everyone. I haven't been here in awhile, even though it's less than ten minutes from me. The store is a little dark and not very welcoming but they were serving pies at a charity event I went to. I tried their blueberry crumb pie and was surprised that I ate the entire piece! Pie is usually a hit or miss for me--it's either too sweet or it has an aftertaste of artificial sweetener. Crumb pies I stay away from completely, because crumb toppings are always loaded with sugar. But for some reason, the blueberry crumb pie just looked so appetizing. I absolutely love this place and think they have the best apple and peach pies ever. The crust is always perfection. I could eat pies for days just to savor the crust. The filling is always perfect IMO. Not too sweet and fruit still tastes " just picked". I've had their donuts before and they are what you might expect from a farm which are great, but off the charts if you're lucky to be there when fresh made and hot. Honestly I haven't tried much else in the store because I just can't consider straying too far from my staples. Def worth the drive out if my way to go there. Got a cherry pie from here for Thanksgiving. Pie looked nice and brown and smelled delicious. Although it was cooked properly, it was lacking in filling. The pie had a nice hump on top which leads you to believe the pie is nice and stuffed but the hump was just a baking bulge and when it broke there was about 2-3 inches of space between the top and the filling. The cherry mixture inside tasted good but was sparse and for what they charge for a pie I would expect more. I can get a better, larger, more filled pie at Sams', BJs' or Costco for about half the price. I like to support community businesses but don't cheap out. It's a pie that's supposed to be warm and delicious and stuffed. read more

This a quaint and hidden little bakery/ grocery. We came here to try out the Tomasello winery that is located inside. It was an amazing Groupon find! My family living in Jackson didn't even know this place exisited. You walk in and they have fresh fruits and veggies. There are some deliciously smelling baked goods like pies and other sweets. They have cold drinks and even ice cream! But if you vear off to the left you will find the tiny wine tasting room for Tomasello. You can taste 6 wines, they can break it up to be 3 whites and 3 reds or however you would like to break up the six. The bartender was really knowledgeable and helpful in picking our wines basted on our tastes and what we really liked. I wish there was more seating, especially at the bar. Everyone was standing and I almost felt rushed with the bartender in front of me. The wines were very nice and full of body. We both ended up getting a bottle of Merlot is was fantastic! So I have been going there for many years and my children went to school with the owners children, but I have moved away and when I go there once or twice a year a enjoy there pies, this time it was daughter birthday and she loves pumpkin pie, and I brought it home and less than 2 days later it was covered in mold. I'm not cheap person but it was 17$ not cheap, I called them telling how my daughter was disappointed and asked for refund and was denied, they told me it was my fault I had mold in my house that got onto the pie, to sell expired goods as fresh is not only illegal it is terrible, what kind of people run this company to think it's just fine to poison my daughter? Bakery is hit or miss. Sometimes good but sometimes really bad. The people behind the counter are also not very helpful...sometimes snippy.

I love Wemrock. They have amazing fresh apple cider, and the apple cider donuts are to die for. I'm the past I've ordered fruit baskets from them, and they have never disappointed. So I want to address just how amazing the staff at Wemrock is, especially with how helpful they've been during the COVID-19 pandemic. They have fresh fruits, vegetables, pastries, and other goodies, and with just a quick phone call, they will prepare your grocery order for curbside pickup. No going in the store necessary. Everyone has gloves and masks, and is still super friendly from 6 feet away. They either load your groceries into your trunk, or they will leave a box for you on a table and call you when your order is ready. Really sweet amazing people. Food is always delicious.
