Visited the area from VA & there were many fast food restaurants around. They were closed though, so we had no choice but to go to Wendy's. They had a very slow drive thru line. I figured our food would be fresh because of it. When we got to the window to get our food, they said they had to cook our nuggets & would bring ALL of our food out fresh. We had no problem with that & waited in spot #2. When we got the food, everything was old except the nuggets. The fries were cold. The burger was wrong. The nuggets were yummy. I truly can't stand fast food, but it was late and we needed to hurry up and eat something. I agree with the previous reviews about their slowness and orders being wrong. My suggestion is to PLEASE check your food before driving away. They will probably get it wrong or give you something old. read more

Holy S*** - pay attention to the reviews. Everything lukewarm, asked for hot fries after we had sat down and realized they were cold, and didn't even get acknowledged - just took my tray and started putting other orders together.... Cashier who had just touched our cash money is the one handling the food / serving the fries. This place should not be in business. read more

I needed a standard visit. I don't have much expendable income these days and so I rarely splurge on something like fast food-- and I qualify Wendy's as a splurge. The crew were rude, unprofessional, using foul language while the drive through window in which I sat was wide open throughout the entire 20 mins we sat there waiting for... garbage. The cashier even asked us about how much we were planning to order and that maybe we should go to a different Wendy's across town. We paid for a large meal and the Hi-C was just water. My burger was wrapped in 6 wrappers. Why? Because the old, old paddies were drowned in so much mustard it was inedible. Thanks, jerks. Now I go hungry because I can't afford anything else and you all decided to do your jobs very, very poorly. read more

Ordered off Uber eats and I'm fully convinced they don't even read the ticket before making the food. Don't bother excluding things you don't like. For example, if you order a chicken sandwich with no lettuce or tomato, you're going to get lettuce and tomato. If you can use your thumbs it's not a big deal but I'd rather my order come as I specify. Slow the hell down and read the ticket. The food is good which is why I'm giving it 3 stars but they crapped the bed on my fiancé and my daughters order. After fees and tip -- almost $50 for a wrong order. read more

Friday night, 11:30pm. I could have raised a cow faster than the drive through line. Ok, that's an obvious exaggeration - it was just after midnight by the time I made it through, so it was about 35 minutes. For fast food. Interestingly, the workers were congregated around the window as they laughingly handed me a bag of food. Got to the hotel when I discovered it was not my bag, apparently. Did they know this? I'll never know. And I'll also not go back to a store that employs workers that are either a) incompetent, b) malicious or c) racist(?) Of course, this could have been a complete mistake - but for the four of them to hand me a bag that contained a few chicken nugget bits and a few fries when I ordered a double cheeseburger and a large fry is a nearly inconceivable mistake. I wish them the best, but that was my last time as a patron. read more

This location is alittle different then most Wendy's I have been to. They seem nervous and not prepared at all. The manager was telling the gal at the window to take one order at a time. After waiting in line for 10 minutes with one car in front of me I ordered 2 chicken nugget meals and a triple cheese burger meal. It took them another 10-15 min to actually get my food. The order was all wrong and again they were not really busy. I would suggest going on down the road to a different Wendy's. This restaurant has a management and a quality issue. This has happened on more then one occasion. I do believe that is my last trip to that Wendy's until they restaff or hire a new manager. read more

I always go through the drive through and this isn't my first time complaining about simple, avoidable issues. I wasn't told sorry one time out of the three times I had an issue with my same order. The last time I went through the drive through I was given a patty with a slice of cheese folded and thrown onto it. I was told, "add the patty if you want but I am not making you another burger." Then the door was slammed in my face as I pulled off. I asked him the managers name and he said that he was the manager and his name is Drew. First time- burger was completely wrong and had ketchup and Mayo all throughout the bag. Second time- 1 of the patties and cheese was missing on my burger. Third time- the singular patty and cheese slice was all I received besides terrible customer service. Thank you manager Drew, you ruined my favorite fast food restaurant. I won't be returning until I see an improvement. Would give 0 stars if I could. Seeing as the rest of my food was cold and my frosted were melted by the time they got my burger right. read more

They are complaining that 3 reviews are not enough to indicate how horrible their restaurant is. I hope my review helps to clarify it. We have been going there at least twice a week at lunch. The food has progressively gotten worse. My husband used to love the chicken sandwich. Lately the chicken has been overcooked or not done. It is so undercooked he can hardly bite it off. Tonight he bought 2 small chilis and they were only 3/4_full. The sandwich looked like it had been thrown down on the counter before they wrapped it up. There was no tomato and the wrapper was just half on. Who wants to eat a sandwich that they won't make the effort to wrap it correctly? There was no crackers even though my husband asked for extra ones. I'm calling the home office. It won't help but we are local people and we hate to see Wendy's go down like this. 1-865-691-1393. For whatever reason, Wendy's restaurants have been extremely slow lately. I'm usually pretty patient and I'm aware of worker shortages, but I couldn't find one reason why my experience at the Alcoa Wendy's ended up so poorly. I sat in line for almost 20 minutes, plus 5-10 minutes waiting for my order to be taken once it was my turn (everyone in front of me had to wait that long also). While waiting to have my order taken, any cars that were ahead of me got their food and left. I finally placed my order and got to the window, and I heard the drive-thru employee tell the next people in line to wait. All I got was a chicken sandwich and a coke and it was ready instantly. The drive-thru employee stood there arguing with who I'm assuming was a co-worker and their manager with the window open for me to hear. Plus I noticed a pretty well-staffed kitchen. 6-8 employees or so. I had really hoped the dining room was full or something, but there was literally only one customer inside. I can't imagine a reason now why it was all so slow. I hate to write negative reviews, especially of restaurants because I am a restaurant manager myself, but the people and maybe the higher-ups really need to know. read more

Risked my life and limb crossing the highway/boulevard from the airport to get some lunch. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean but the food was pretty mediocre. Hungry after my flight, ordered a double but found the sandwich dry and fries unappealing. The signature "frosty" is a teeny imitation of its former self. There are a lot of places to eat in this area so Wendys is going to have to step up their game. read more
