Negative stars. Most ghetto fast food location in the US. I love Wendy's so we skipped past all the other fast food places (more on that later). Ordered a hamburger meal with ice tea. They didn't have ice tea, who doesn't have ice tea?? We had to wave someone down at the window even though we were the only ones there. They gave me attitude when I asked for my credit card back, I was worried they were stealing the info. They need a better dress code and attitude adjustment. Updated Review, 7-8 Years Later: So... fast forward nearly a decade since my last review of this Wendy's, and somehow -- miraculously -- it's managed to get worse. Which is impressive, honestly. It's tragic, really. The one fast food joint whose food I actually enjoy is literally steps from my backyard... and it's staffed by the most clueless, disaffected, sticky-countered, apparently-untrained group of people I've ever had the misfortune of ordering a Frosty from. Let me paint the picture: I place a mobile order for two Frostys -- not a Baconator, not a custom order with substitutions, no fries, no drinks. Just a small and a junior chocolate Frosty. A lay-up of an order. A one-hander. Frosty 101. Instead, I get dropped into some sad little purgatory queue with six other orders. Because I'm the last to arrive, I'm told they'll "get to mine" once the rest are done. That'd be mildly irritating if I wasn't standing there with my freshly-vaccinated, grumpy two-year-old who just wanted a post-doctor's visit treat. We wait. Ten minutes pass. No Frosty. No updates. No urgency. Just one overwhelmed-looking woman pacing around like she's cosplaying as someone in the weeds. Honestly, I've seen mannequins with more problem-solving initiative. At one point, I thought, "You know, I could summon my dead grandmother from the grave, give her a shovel, teach her how to use Western Union, and she'd still get me a Frosty faster than this staff." This whole place reeks of, "I came into some money, bought a Wendy's, and hired my entire extended family to run it with zero experience." You renovated the building, redid the lot, probably spent a small fortune making the place look decent. And yet somehow forgot the crucial part: finding a staff -- and a manager -- who know how to give a single flying Frosty. If there's a silver lining here, it's this: maybe one day this franchise will go out of business and end up in the hands of someone who actually cares. I'm so disappointed in this location. Wendy's is always so consistent and top of the line but this location is the exception. They just handed me a flat WARM soda with no ice and acted like I was crazy for wanting ice. I had to go next door to McDonald's to get a cold drink to eat with my Wendy's. I work close by and needed something quick. I order a biggie bag with no ice in the drink. I got the drink first and it had ice. I looked past this and continued to get my order. I drove back and when I got back to work I had 1 sauce which isn't the correct sauce I ordered. I ignore it and continue to pull out my food and when I pulled out the nuggets I found a piece of what looks to be a plastic bag attached to one of the nuggets I just pulled out. Quick service, good food, and good menu selection. The staff was nice and I got my food within 5 minutes of ordering. The menu has a lot of good choices, for picky and non-picky eaters alike. This location seemed to be adhering to covid standards well. Most of the seating inside is prohibited due to social distancing. Only 1 person is allowed in the bathroom at a time. I got the new pretzel bacon pub cheeseburger. It was tasty and I'd definitely order it again. I know a lot of people are big fans of their baconator so I'll be back for that! read more

I don't know what is going on with the chain but I think they are trying to go out of business! This location just like the nearby one by the bridge, was recently renovated and looks nice. However the service is simply awful! Too few people who are too overwhelmed! Placed a mobile order to save time but when I went to the drive thru the line was several cars deep. By the time I got my food it was nearly out to West Street, which is a very busy street! The store is a public nuisance in that way! It took nearly 15 minutes to get something that I pre-paid for. As for the food, it's Wendy's, there's nothing special about this particular location. I like Wendy's thinking it's the best fast food restaurant that there is. Terrible service. We had a mobile order for drive thru pickup. They gave us the wrong order. We went back around and had to wait 20 minutes in line. The service was so slow. When we told them they gave us the wrong order, they snatched back the bag and gave it to a doordasher who had been waiting for that order. I don't think they're supposed to give food to someone after it's been in the hands of another person. Seems unsanitary. They were extremely rude and condescending, even using profanity. We showed them our mobile receipt, and a woman in the back was yelling that "if we don't have the paper on our end, tell them to go away." We also did not get a refund or compensation of any sorts. I made a yelp account just to review this place. By far the worst fast food location I have ever seen. I've given this Wendy's many chances over the years, it is one of 2 Wendy's in Annapolis and unfortunately both of them have an entirely ghetto staff, but this time pushed me over the edge. The location was dead, barely any cars in the parking lot and I was the only person in the drive through. I ordered a 5 dollar biggie bag. When I got to the window the man said nothing, never said what the price was, just stood there and waited for my card. I payed and got my drink, then waited several minutes before the man came back and asked me what my order was again. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE DRIVE THROUGH and the parking lot was empty, how could you forget my order? I then waited another couple of minutes for my food, only to see they gave me the wrong burger, somehow. Not only did they give me the wrong burger, everything about it was dirty, the bun was covered in ketchup, the patty looked like it had been dropped on the floor and was in pieces, and it smelled like fish. I was beyond pissed at this point. I didn't care about a refund on 5 dollars, but the food went in the trash with the swiftness. I will never eat at this Wendy's again and the people working there need to be fired. Bulldoze the entire location while you're at it. And you know everyone in town knows to avoid this place. The McDonald's next door has so many people at it the line was spilling into west street creating traffic, while this place was dead. Truly disgraceful. read more

Definitely won't be returning to this location! The only reason this location received two stars was because the ending cashier gave me a nice smile to go. I arrived at this location on a random, quick stop before I sit in the body shop and honestly should've keep driving. A simple order of fries, a spicy chicken wrap, 4 nuggets and a strawberry lemonade turned into triple the amount of items... and I received an attitude when it was approached at the window. I, being familiar with customer service, apologized if there was confusion on my end but that was almost a regret when I could hear baggers (and the other employees) smacking their lips as if I entered the wrong information. REGARDLESS, I won't be returning. I understand customers can be at fault for certain mistakes... as I stated before, I'm not unfamiliar to customer service or food administration... but please understand your staff can be (and was) at fault. Stopped by on impulse to try the new breakfast sandwiches. Sign said 2 for $4 breakfast sandwiches. Quickly learned that it doesn't apply to all their breakfast sandwiches. Only the ones on a small hamburger roll. So I got two sausage egg and cheese sandwiches on the burger buns. I have to say these were the worst sandwiches I've ever had. They had been assembled from precooked pieces and were only lukewarm. The cheese wasn't even melted. The sausage was cool, dry and the edges were hard and sharp from being dry. There was no butter, margarine or other condiments on the sandwich and none were offered. The bun was a little unusual; not my first or second choice. The egg was acceptable but cool and a little dry. The best feature of the sandwiches was the spicing in the sausage. Had it been hot and moist, it might have been pretty good. So far the best breakfast sandwiches are at Burger King and Wawa. Get the sausage, egg and cheese croissant Sizzli when they're on sale. Burger King will even sell you a double meat sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. You won't need lunch. read more

Let meart by saying I have visited this location three times this week during the evening in hopes of grabbing dinner, instead of cooking. However, each time I visited the store no one answered the drive-thru microphone to place an order and when I finally gave up I drove to the window to order and each time I was told they were closed. Please note this was between 7 and 7:30pm each time. Now the biggest surprise was the last time I visited the store I could see two employees in the back appear to be having sex in the back. One of the people was a short African-American woman and a young man and there appeared to be no one else in the building. Went there again today for breakfast hoping they would be open and spoke to the manager on duty and informed her (Laran - maybe misspelled) of what happened during the week and I was blown off like I was making up a story and because I showed up 10 minutes before 10:30am I was informed they are no longer making breakfast, but they went ahead and made it anyways however I did not trust the food in fear they spit in it so I had to trash my entire order. I will not longer return to this restaurant and I highly recommend anyone else to do the same if they don't wish to eat food that has been spit on! read more

I should start by saying I actually like Wendy's food. But this location is Seriously the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. They were not open their posted hours - I got there at 9:40 and the dinning room was closed even though they were supposed to be open until 10. The drive through was slow, took over 20 minutes and there were only three cars in front of me. Once I got to the order window, no one answered. After about two minutes I called out and they said they would be right with me. I waited a full five minutes after that and still no one came. I called out again and After a few more minutes someone came and took my order. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold, the chicken sandwich was chewy and luke-warm. And they didn't put the chicken nuggets in the bag for my son's kid meal - which I didn't find out till after we got home.
