We rarely eat at these burger places but we were stuck in the Mall on a rainy Saturday and we tried it. All I can say very delicious burgers and fries but GREASE galore. We do not eat a lot of greasy fried foods and this was up there on the grease scale. Especially the French fries. It was a bit pricy for two adults and two kids. 40 bucks and we didn't even get drinks! Wow! Post pandemic dining out has gotten very expensive. Really not worth it beyond the convenience. read more

Every once in a while I just say "screw it" and blow my diet. Today i thought why not eat a hot, fresh, and greasy burger and fries. I don't know if the fact that I have not had a burger in such a long time is influencing my taste buds, but this burger was awesome. Not 5 star awesome, but pretty tasty. 1-1-24- I came here after seeing the color purple movie . My mama wanted five guys I got something else!!.. we were greeted immediately the whole staff was very nice! The manager I presume Gilberto went above and beyond for my mom, she asked if he could put a sugar packet on her tomato (Yes it's CORRECT it's just how she was raised & now Me too ‍) . The staff obliged whom was making her food which I thought was very nice!! Because they don't have to!.. anything while in that moment he assisted or his staff so the customer service was definitely A One! .. Five Guys is ALWAYS on point with their served hot burgers! & bottom Bag filled French fries! So that's nothing to boast about cuz it's NEVER an issue!! However customer service is at most but this location there was NONE!.. I'd gladly return to this location so thank you Gilberto and your staff for making my mom's Day! and the sugar packet esp because at times her arthritis in her hands hurt her! So I graciously. This location is located in Annapolis Mall. My mother got her food there. First, there were 3 women standing there when we walked up. No one greeted us or anything. Finally I said can we order. She seemed to have a slight English barrier. After we ordered my mother's food and received it. Her burger was messy & her fries tasted like they were reheated. We love five guys in GlenBurnie and in Columbia, but this location just missed the mark for us. Since there isn't an In-and-Out on this coast, this is the best burger place (not buying the Shake Shack hype). The burgers are amazing and large enough to satisfy my big appetite. I like this location because they are fast and efficient. They have a system where the cashier calls out the order to the grill crew and they confirm they heard the order by saying "Got it!" I like that they offer the lettuce wrapped option because I'm avoiding bread. Perfect order and the burger was yummy. I just wish Five Guys would get more cheese options because everything's better with Cheddar... at least in my world. Lol. read more

Chris C. is right that the bag I received my food in was unusually greasy. That said, this was otherwise a standard Five Guys experience. Same consistently good burger and good fries. The staff appeared to be non-native English speakers and some of them seemed a little flustered, but the cashier was very polite and I have no complaints in that department. Only bummer was that rather than a ketchup dispenser they appeared to just have packets. Maybe I missed it. And of course I missed the peanuts, but you can't expect peanuts in a mall given how serious the allergies can be for some people. The mall was extremely busy on a Saturday night and there weren't a ton of tables around. I was going to eat in the mall (by myself on an errand to Annapolis) but I sat down next to a group of young men who were extremely foul-mouthed and seemed rather sullen, so rather than listen to that while trying to enjoy my burger, I decided to walk on back to my car and listen to some podcasts while I ate (great for the digestion FYI, depending on the show of course...) The only thing was I parked near Nordstrom and oh my God, this mall goes on forever! It must be a mile long. The whole time my bag getting greasier. I had to carry it balanced on top of my drink so the grease didn't bleed into my clothing. Those ain't easy stains to get out! The lesson, don't order carryout at one end of a mile long mall and park at the other. read more

The lady called my number gave me my sandwich and it was incorrect the staff said "why didn't you read the number" IDIOT I did but the sandwich was still wrong, can't believe they were mad at me for their screw up needless to say I got my money back and ate else where! This is a relatively new location; it didn't exist back when I was an Annapolis resident. I don't often review chain restaurants but I love Five Guys (note - numbers should be spelled out when under 10). This location features really friendly staff who are very accomodating to strange orders (like everything on the side to deal with the finicky taste buds of my soon-to-be four-year old!). Good stuff. I am also a fan of their cajun fries, but when you order a large, they give you way too many ... and I'm probably the only person that will complain about receiving too much food. One of my favorite places for beef burgers and fries!! The beef is very flavorful (almost like fresh, home grown, range fed beef like I had growing up in SW VA). The available number of toppings is great including jalapenos! And OMG, the fries enough to feed a family of 4 with the regular order. Add some vinegar and seasoning they are really outstanding. The Five Guys in the Annapolis Mall serves as one of the cleanest and one of the tastiest places to eat in the mall's food court. The great flavor of the beef coupled with the savory toppings and fresh cut fries makes it the perfect place for lunch or dinner. I personally witnessed some unsanitary acts and conditions at the Annapolis Mall food court. Some acts and condition so poor, a health inspector will not think twice about shutting a few of the places down while posting hefty fines on the remaining few establishments that demonstrates such poor standards. However, Five Guys at Annapolis Mall always seem to present a clean kitchen, serves the tastiest food in the mall, and always give me fast and courteous service. read more

Five Guys is a go-to burger place for me. This one (Annapolis Mall)...not so much. First indication of trouble was when I picked the bag up from the back seat of the car. The bag was soaked through with grease (it was literally dripping from the bag) and ripped open almost spilling the contents onto the ground (part of me wishes it had). Thankfully it's a rental car, and thankfully I got the loss damage waiver, or I'd be buying Hertz new upholstery. The burger was fine...just fine. The fries were probably the worst I've ever not eaten (Sorry, but I just couldn't do it). They were so grease-soaked and undercooked they came out of the cup in a single lump shaped like the cup itself. You just can't accidentally mess up an order of fries this badly...this took practice, and a lot of it. My advice is to skip this Five Guys; there is a MacDonalds across the street. read more

Its edible and not super expensive, but the balance of taste to calories isn't there. ALL the reviews on the walls are published BY 5 Guys. None are real. They're all in those local tourist fliers where the local business organization publishes the "great things" in its area. Generally I love 5 Guys burgers but today was a different experience altogether. This particular location needs to go back and be retrained. Burger was okay but sloppily put together. But the fries, ugh!!! I ordered a small order which came in a small cup. 3 fries in the cup and then a huge amount all dumped into the bottom of the bag with the burger thrown in on top. If that wasn't bad enough, they weren't cooked!! Limp and greasy. I took them back and the man at the counter took them over and had the fry girl start a whole new basket. She and the other girls kept talking about making sure they were overcooked. After pulling the basket up every few minutes they finally asked me if they were done enough for me. Then the fries were dumped into the tray and again scooped into a bag. Not the small order I originally ordered but a whole bag full. I handed them back and said I ordered a small order and just wanted them cooked, not raw. Think the oil must need to be hotter because they were still greasy and limp with a little more color.
