Still poorly managed. I ordered online, drove to the store, saw that my order was being processed, then it dropped off the screen. It didn't move to the "Order Ready" category on the screen, nor did it come out and get placed in the rack where online and delivery orders were placed. There were a number of people coming to place orders, and others milling about waiting for their order to come up. I presume that they had come to the store to place their orders and were waiting for them to be ready. So I didn't go to the counter to ask the staff the status of my order, noticing that they were rather disorganized. I didn't want to create more distractions. It would prolong my weight. Finally, after almost everyone cleared out the fellow behind the counter asked if I had an order and what was my name. I told him and he said, "oh it's been here for a while." At that point, I got frustrated and told him that if an order is finished you put it on the screen as "ready" or move it out to the pick up orders. Why else would you have a shelf for online order pick-ups!?" He didn't respond and I just left. I'll only go back to that Wendy's if it's the last resort. read more

It's Haloween night 2025 and I wanted to treat myself to a chocolate frosty which is one of my favorites from this fast food chain. I thought about getting some candy like Sweedish Fish, but in the end the chocolate frosty seemed like it would be a little bit healthier and somewhat easier on my teeth. I went through the drive-thru since it would be faster, and placed my order for the single item chocolate frosty. I was served quickly, however when the employee handed me the frosty, the cup was not completely full. Secondly, the price for tge medium sized frosty was over $4.00, which was higher than what I had paid just a few months before. I had asked the gentleman if he could please fill the cup completely. He took back the cup and acted like he was doing something with it for nearly 30 seconds. I thought it was a strange move. He handed the cup back to me and it has virtually the same amount. I came here for a super early lunch today, and when I arrived there was literally no customer inside of the store. I believe that there were cars in the drive thru waiting to place their order, which is usually the case. I only saw two employees who working on the back, and the female employee immediately stopped what she was doing to take my order. That's what I call professionalism, and I appreciated it! I ordered the Biggie Bag combo meal which includes the double stack burger, four piece nuggets, small french fries, and a small drink. All for $5.00! I opted to eat quickly inside of the dining room, and it was super peaceful and quiet, which was nice for a change! COLI FROM EATING HERE*** In 2004 here at this location, I was hospitalized at Virginia Hospital Center for getting E. COLI at this particular Wendy's. I was too young to press charges, but I was deathly ill for over six months and was on all kinds of medication for a year following a meal here. This store needs to change procedures in dealing with customers' credit cards. On my first drive-through visit, the store accidentally kept my friend's credit card. On my second visit, I nearly left without getting my credit card returned. That's because the store's procedure seems to be to run the credit card, hand the customer food, and only then possibly return the credit card--if the cashier remembers or if the customer asks. I had my window rolled up and the car in drive before the cashier started to hand my card to me. There are some mornings when I fell like I'm absolutely starving, and this was one of those mornings. I was at the point where I wasn't functioning well at work, so I decided to run over here real quick to get an early lunch. I already knew what I wanted which was the double stack biggie back combo meal. I've ordered this several times this summer, because zi fel that it's a good value. It includes a double cheeseburger, four piece nuggets, small fries, and a regular fountain drink. I think that it's a pretty complete lunch and the quality of the food is a step above the average fast food restaurant. Besides I can't eat out at fancy restaurants every day. I'm frankly surprised by some of these negative reviews I'm seeing. I've experienced nothing like this at this location. My experiences are almost exclusively limited to the drive thru, but they do a great job. My favorite things... 1. The service is always very fast. 2. The fries are always fresh and especially crispy. 3. Although it isn't necessary, they offer a 15% military discount. It's very thoughtful and has often served as the tiebreaker when I'm deciding between places to eat. read more

I was very surprised tonight 3/21/14 when I ordered a couple double stacks that were made with old hard edged cheese. Absolutely unacceptable, those two burgers costs about 8 dollars together, and on top of that I asked for a coke, only to get to my workplace and find out it's a diet coke.
