I have been to this location in the past but after tonight's visit, I'd rather starve than come back here. I'm not usually this harsh or brutal on my reviews but this was beyond unacceptable. My order was $40 and consisted of two 10-piece nugget meals, a Jr cheeseburger with ketchup only and a grilled chicken wrap meal. I'm handed all the drinks, NBD. Handed a bag & told to, "have a nice evening, beautiful lady." I'm in between appointments (one from 1630-1730, the other 1800-1900), trying to feed myself and two hungry kids, so I don't check the bag. My bad. Total rookie mistake. We get to our second appointment with 15 minutes to inhale dinner, and both the grilled chicken wrap AND the Jr cheeseburger were missing from the order. When I called to complain that half the food was missing, I was given two options - either drive BACK to the restaurant to pick up a fresh order *or* they'd "take down my name" and I'd get a free meal the next time I visited. I opted to drive back and get my food, because at this point, it's after 7 pm and I haven't eaten yet. I arrive and there's 1-2 people eating inside, a couple that had just placed a to-go order and me, trying to fix my botched order. The floor just inside the entrance was sticky and appeared to have smooshed French fries all over. The counter was not clean in appearance. The person with whom I spoke on the phone was actually surprised that I was "already there" since speaking with them on the phone. I politely asked for a small fry (hoping they'd be hot & fresh, since the ones that were supposed to be with my original meal were 90 minutes old & cold). As I stood, waiting for my replacement order, I watched a female employee with red braids handle a small fry and 4-piece chicken nugget with ungloved hands. I hate to be this person but its always something ordering from this location. Today I place an order on uber eats for a spicy chicken sandwich with medium fries and a medium drink. First it took over an hour to receive my food even though the delivery time said 30mins. I would blame it on the uber driver but he text me to inform that the workers messed up the order and had to remake it. When he brought my food and i sat down to eat the fries were cold and horrible. I move onto the chicken sandwich and i saw this (picture inserted below). This is unacceptable. Service was as expected, very little interaction from a mobile order, got it very quickly. I ordered the new Pretzel Baconator, my first time at Wendys in over 10+ years, and a coke zero. The coke zero was watered down just like this restaurant. The Burger was the most overhyped thing I have ever had in my life. For $9 I could have gone to Five Guys and got something worth my money. The pretzel was bland, the patties were dry and simply tasted like your average bacon cheeseburger. OVERHYPED, I suggest anybody who LOVES this gets their taste buds reset. read more

We came here twice during our vacation. It's not the prettiest place, but we had no problem with the food, the staff or service. This is a good place to go to when you need something fast in downtown with a little more variety on the menu compared to other fast food places. This was likely the WORST experience I have ever had at a fast food joint. Ordered and paid for food for pickup on the Wendy's app for myself and my coworkers. Order went through, charged my bank account and the app shows the order number, details, payment -- everything. Three different employees went through my receipt on my phone, walked away to, I assumed, fill the order, and then just nothing. I stood there at mobile pickup for almost 35 minutes before the 'manager' came over and told me they didn't get the order so my only option was to cancel it and reorder. I inquired about the $32.27 I had already paid and how it will take 5 business days minimum to get the reimbursement -- but they wanted me to pay another $32.27? Manager says "if you want food, yes." I stated that was not a very good option -- they can see the order on my phone, the payment, everything and how is it okay that they can take my money and not provide what I purchased? Manager says "I didn't take your money" and walked away. I asked for his name and the district managers name so I could lodge a complaint as I had now been there almost 45 minutes and NO ONE told me there was an issue. He REFUSED to give me his name and the district managers name. I told him I was lodging a complaint and would need his name -- he refused. I asked where is the signage with the manager/assistant manager/shift super info? That should be posted somewhere? Where's a business card? Literally ANYTHING. He flat out refused to even stay at the counter and work this out. I called corporate headquarters while in the store - explained the situation -- they point blank told me the manager's behavior was completely inappropriate and not Wendy's brand. You KNOW I made sure to announce that little tidbit over the counter since he wouldn't come and handle it like a manager. When I asked one of the employees his name -- he raised his hands and said.. yo, I just started here not too long ago, I don't want to get involved. Like WHAT?!? Corporate said they could issue me an immediate credit so I could reorder -- but after dealing with that manager and seeing how he behaved as well as the condition of the store? There is NO WAY he would have provided food prepared correctly and without spit/dirt/filth in it. Corporate also stated they couldn't cancel my order. I couldn't cancel my order. They filed a complaint but couldn't give me a timeframe of how long it would be before I received a call from a different department that COULD cancel my order and issue my refund. What kind of illegal practice is that?? Take a customer's money, not provide the purchased items, and not allow the customer to cancel the order or receive a refund until someone from a different department feels inclined to contact me? I asked the agent, Katie, to please confirm that she was, in fact, telling me that while they can pull up my order and see that it was placed and paid for -- they couldn't have the store give me the order nor could they cancel it and I, too, could not cancel it but that I could wait an undisclosed amount of time to receive a call from someone that might be able to get my refund issued in an unknown amount of time. She confirmed. I also asked her to confirm that since Wendy's took my funds and did not provide product/service that they were acting illegally. She would not confirm and hung up. Unreal. I have started a dispute with my bank already. I will lodge as MANY complaints as I can against this particular location. This place needs to be shut down. The number of negative complaints online about this particular location regarding order mistakes, undercooked/overcooked food, watered down drinks, cleanliness, staff and management is pretty telling. read more

I do not recommend. Please do not go to this Wendy's. I went in with my granddaughter, ordered paid. Then, the cashier began arguing with another employee, cursing and began to push each other. Of course, I didn't want my granddaughter to hear and see, so I walked away to get our drinks. The machine was out of order. When I asked for a refund, she said no. If you answered yes to either of the above questions, I've found the perfect Wendy's for you! Once a year my girlfriend and I eat at each of the fast food establishments and order anything on the menu we want to eat, referring to it as the "Purge". Last Friday was a rough one and it was the perfect day to Purge on some Wendy's. When we walked into this location we were roughly the second group in line and the first thing that caught my attention (and everyone else) was that the place itself was absolutely filthy. Napkins all over the tables, pop all over the floor, random condiments on the tables, and the list goes on and on. When it was finally our time to order the gentleman taking orders spent the first minute and a half texting and laughing at his phone before asking what we wanted. I ordered chicken nuggets, French fries, a vanilla frosty, and. Basic cheeseburger (don't judge me, I only come once a year!). The food itself took 33 minutes to come out and that's not because of a long line, the staff was way to busy joking with each other and standing there to actually do anything, leaving one kid to actually try and get everyone's orders together. How was the food though? Well, it was standard Wendy's quality and nothing more. The chicken nuggets were hot which was nice, they tasted pretty good. The burger was a standard Wendy's burger, no complaints though. I only ate some of the French fries but enjoyed them for what they were, and the frosty was a decent frosty. Overall, I would absolutely not come to this Wendy's again. This might of been the worst fast food experience I've had and it's not something I want to relive. There's enough Wendy's in Buffalo that it's worth a little more of a drive then to deal with this place. read more

As we all know during these trying times the dining room was closed but the drive thru was at full capacity. The area around the store and the parking lot was clean. I didn't wait in line long there was about 4 cars ahead of me. The person taking my order was nice and efficient. I asked for a large fry and a chili. He checked to make sure they had chili before completing my order, they did. I asked for it fresh and hot. As I approached the window they processed my card and immediately handed me my order. I asked " is this fresh" the response, Yes. It was. The fries why super hot where I can barely close my mouth. That's how I like it. The chili however tasted different. I wasn't sure if those were porkn beans in the chili as I began to eat it but I just stopped eating it as I don't eat pork. Just in case those were pork n beans, I didn't want to be sick. I don't leave a lot of bad reviews, but have to here.... This is honestly the worst Wendy's in Buffalo - at least as far as the drive thru is concerned. The drive thru is always backed up - this particular time I was stuck there with no way out for OVER AN HOUR!!!! There were only 5 cars!!! When I finally got to the window and got my food I could see why. All of the staff members were huddled together just goofing off and gossiping about inappropriate stuff loud enough for me to hear through the closed window. Mobile ordered 2 chocolate frosty's Main Street Buffalo location. When approached window to pick up I was told someone with same name already picked my order up?!?. I asked the kid if it was same mobile order number as one on my phone. Which he didn't even look at and told me yes. Than proceeded to ask if I was going to mobile order again when I was right in front of him. The kid asked if I wanted the manager which I said yes!.
