You'll be ordering from an endless array of delicious flavor combinations, so customize away! The French fries were perfect, a mark of a great casual restaurant, as were the onion rings. It got really quiet while we were there. If I had been working behind that counter, I would have to grab a shop rag and some Windex to hit that front door in between customers. (Technically it did, their fries changed & different items on the menu), but they were just as good today. I am a garlic freak & that Aioli made them the best fries I've ever had. He brought in some gorgeous flowers from his garden to brighten the place up. It was a really nice touch. Stopped here at BurgerIM for lunch yesterday as I was in the area and wanted to try something new. The menu intrigued me and had a selection of items I really look for ( They have Lamb !! ) Ordered a Gyro Wrap online with Fries for pickup. Online ordering was easy and the order was ready about the time they suggested. Gyro was tasty and well wrapped and fries were great. Nice clean eating setting with cool decor and some nearby parking that helps. When you walk into a restaurant during the Saturday lunch rush to find there is no rush, you start to worry that maybe it's empty because the food sucks. That's what my mate and pal thought as we entered the silent room. There are tvs playing cartoons and Food Network on mute, no background music. The food is so photogenic you'd think they're making models for the menu. It's stable to boot, not threatening to fall out of the buns like some sandwiches I've struggled to eat. I stole one of each, noticing how there wasn't any greasy residue in the paper trays. The sizable onion ring had an audible crunch, and the fries were crispy while remaining soft on the inside. The place itself is very spacious, has some televisions out so you can keep up with sports, and of course, a menu featuring a bunch of different types of burgers, side dishes, and milkshakes to make even the grumpiest people smile for at least a second. I was struggling to pick just one so I ended up ordering the 2 minis with one being a cheeseburger and the other being a fried chicken sandwich. We also ordered a side dish of onion rings and I definitely ate a some of my girlfriends French fries. How was the food you ask? Cheeseburger- I was a big fan of the cheese and the burger. I would definitely rather eat this then go to a fast food chain like McDonald's or Burger King and I was even a fan of the presentation. Be ready to have your expectations of getting into a shabby fast food restaurant shatter right after stepping in here. The staff were kind enough to help us select the right dishes as per our preferences. With their suggestions we were all set with our order. We started off with the BurgerIM Fries and the Onion Rings. Firstly, the Onion Rings were simply out of this world. It's crunch is so loud that it can be heard from another city(not kidding) and pairing it with their house sauce gives you a one way trip to food coma! Their Fries are served cottage cut style and are perfect to nibble on with your burgers and drink. Next up was the main event, their famed Gourmet Burgers. We got ourselves the Crispy Chicken Burger and the Falafel Burger. The amazing thing about this joint is that you can make customizations to your burgers, so of course we had to add an Onion Ring to our burger. First one up was the Crispy Chicken burger which blew us away with this burst of flavors. The buffalo sauce was lip smacking, the crispy chicken was super juicy and the bun was exceptional. I saw the three star review and thought: "Should I even bother to give this place a try? But then again, things simply did not seem to add up when factoring in the negative reviews. The food in the photos seem gourmet and delicious, but there were some reviews that stated otherwise." So, I decided to find out for myself. Upon entering this fully halal establishment, the delicious aroma wafting in from the kitchen greeted me. To make things even better, the extremely welcoming associate at the front of the house/register warmly welcomed my rather large party with the biggest smile. Customer service like this is rarely seen these days! I also immediately noticed how well the place was designed. It was spacious and well lit. The bar style counter was a nice touch, and the other tables appeared comfortable. The ambience was calm and peaceful. Even the kitchen seemed to run smoothly despite our huge order. The family box we ordered contained eight 3 oz. burgers (these are smaller 3 oz. burgers that are between sliders and regular burgers in size), wings, onion rings, and fries. I like how we could customize each aspect of our order. For example, we could add bacon (halal bacon), or swap out regular fries for sweet potato fries. We also ordered two dry-aged beef burgers, and a salmon burger on the side. The order was prepared very quickly despite the crowd that was beginning to show up. As for the food, I could only describe it as very satisfying and delicious! The burgers were all juicy. I ordered different types of burgers (Angus beef, dry-aged beef, grilled chicken, and salmon) to analyze the scope of what this place could output, and to see if the negative reviews were true. All of the burgers were well prepared and presented beautifully. The dry-aged beef burger is a must try in my opinion. It is a place where everyone could visit, as halal is simply a humane/healthier method which Muslims follow when sourcing the meat, as with Kosher for example, so it is not only limited to Muslims. They've got a big space with a lot of seating available. The place is really clean and has a chill vibe to it. Their USP is the gourmet burgers and we were surprised to see that at a fast food chain. He stopped me mid order to take a phone call from the owner and was also trying to assist the guy delivering soda. They may need an additional staff member to help out. When I walked in I seen a coworker of mines enjoying her meal with her guest. Her guest pointed out that the milkshakes they make are delicious. This spot is located in the heart of Hertel Ave, walking distance to many other restaurants, bars, and shops. I ordered through Grubhub to do carry out. The ordering process was easy, however, there was no estimated time for pick up so when I got there the food had been sitting for a bit and was not as fresh. As far as the food, it was good, not great. I ordered their two pack, which gives you the option to choose two different sandwiches by giving you smaller portions ( each sandwich was a little bigger than a slider). I liked this option so I could cover more of the menu. I'm going to give them another chance one day. I had their food and I wasn't impressed too much. It wasn't nasty at all. Well the salmon burger was nasty and undercooked. I don't like my fish tartar. Most was'nt nasty, there just was no wow factor in anything I ate and I was disappointed with the chicken burger, the chicken patties are processed. The other chicken burger with cheese and spinach is a better piece of the chicken breast but not special in taste either. I had the fries and onion rings they were good. I've had other burgers there, beef, but honestly I just don't see me paying money of my own for one of their burgers. I wasn't sure about ordering from BurgerIM due to the varying reviews on Yelp, but since my husband was all for the idea, I went along with it. We ordered through DoorDash and had the food delivered: two falafel burgers, one order of regular fries, one half-and-half order of sweet potato fries and onion rings, and two bubble teas (grapefruit fruit tea and mango fruit tea). The food was sadly lukewarm, but I'll chalk that up to getting it delivered rather than picking it up ourselves or dining in. Both types of fries and the onion rings were still tasty. If you really like onion rings, I'd recommend getting a full order of just those, rather than doing a half-and-half order, because we only ended up getting four onion rings in our half order and were bummed out about it. The falafel burgers were disappointing, though. Not only was it lukewarm, but it tasted like raw chickpeas. We love falafel, but not when it's not cooked properly. Our toddler enjoyed both types of fries, but wasn't a fan of the falafel burger, so in this case his tastes seem to line up with the adults. The bubble tea drinks were fine. The boba was slightly overcooked, but I wasn't expecting perfect boba from a place that doesn't specialize in it. Would I get BurgerIM through DoorDash again? On their grand opening night, I thought I'd give BurgerIM on Hertel Ave in Buffalo, NY a try because of a recent article that I read about the restaurant. My girlfriend and I got to the restaurant, opened the door, and tripped on the step up underneath the front door - just like everyone else who entered. Talk about a first impression... Decor: The decor of the place definitely feels like a low budget fast food restaurant. There's old popcorn ceilings at the first half of the restaurant, the back half has no ceiling, cheap painted wall panels were leftover from the previous establishment, and there's paint drops all over the track lights. The seating layout was horrible, especially the 4 tables that had 2 seats each directly aligned with the 2 lines leading to the counter to place an order. Food: We decided to go with their trio, which are a total of 3 slider burgers and we turned it into a meal with fries and added onion rings. I was excited to try the uncut burger, which is their version of an impossible burger (vegan option). We took our seats and waited... and waited... and waited. 30 minutes later, a gentleman walked up to the counter from his seat at the front of the restaurant and asked for the status of his burger, which he had been waiting for over 45 minutes. He shouted a statement that I couldn't have said any better, "What's taking so long?! It's just a burger!" That's when we saw the owner of the franchise walk up to the service window and saw the line chef shouting, "just send the burgers out, the fries aren't ready!" Here came our trio burgers with no fries nor onion rings. My girlfriend and I stared at the 3 burgers - all of which were identical and resembled burgers from other fast food establishments, but slightly worse. There was nothing on the burgers to help us identify which burger was the vegan option. They also looked exactly alike - same toppings, patty, buns, and so on. The burgers were cold, which means they've been sitting on the counter for the 30 minutes we were waiting. The patties were dry and tasteless. The toppings were cheap and scarce. We were told by who we assume was the restaurant's manager that it's their grand opening night and they're behind on orders because they were swamped with customers. Looking around, we saw 6 tables full of people with disappointed and hangry expressions, a line just beginning, and someone else tripping over the step at the entrance. We hope it was just a bad night for the restaurant and that their food and service is better than what we experienced. The falafel burger was fantastic. It's also vegan! The fries are a cut that I haven't seen before but are great for dunking them in ketchup. The restaurant is big, bright, and very clean. I had an amazing first experience here. read more

If you are wanting a burger, this is a neat place to try. It's spacious and clean inside. There is beef, salmon and a plant based burger on the main menu along with circular fries or onion rings. I liked all of the toppings and sauce that was on my angus burger, and the fries were different and interesting! This is a quick burger option for lunch that is a step up from fast food, yet priced about the same. I was happy with the price. Three of us ate combos for $29 and some change. read more
