Ok, so this was the 2nd disappointing order wr got from this Wendy's. Mother's day we just decided a couple of chicken sandwiches, fries and shakes would be a simple dinner. My husband walked in the house and I opened up the bags to cold, limpy fries. 2 cold sandwiches and 2 shakes. My chicken sandwich was so small, I thought my hubby b ordered a Jr. Sandwich, he said no it's a regular., but they had no lettuce. It was the tiniest piece of chicken on a tiny bun with a squirrel of mayo. 2 bites and I threw it away, same with fries, then my husband took a bite of his burger and said it was tasteless too, threw his away, so we only drank the shakes. Horrible experience. It happened about 2 months prior to this time, but only 2 burgers that time were bad! These werethe worst experiences and I was led to think they were better and fresher than McDonald's and Burger King, I beg to differ. Not going for another chance for 3 strikes! read more

worst wendy's i've ever been to. made my frostys wrong, went in to lobby to get remade and STILL made it wrong.

I come to this location semi-regularly. The service is never good, but even with Wendy's you expect a certain level of service. Waited over 20 mins for my food, as did numerous other customers. They first said they forgot my order because after a certain amount of time an order drops off their screen. Then said the cook had left so they were waiting for him to come back to make the burgers then got my burgers and they were the wrong burger , but at that point I just gave up and ate what they gave me. read more

Well today I call 15 minutes away and I ask do you have the strawberry frosty. I am told YES WE DO. so I get there 15 minutes later and guess what ??? We don't have the strawberry mix but we have the chocolate. Well I don't want that. Ok so can I have a 6 piece nugget. " would you like the spicy nuggets". NO I HATE SPICY PLEASE NOT THOSE!!!! I get my order and Pop a nugget into my mouth. And guess F---king what. It's spicy. You cannot imagine my anger. I hate spicy food. And especially when I told them to please avoid this. We went through the drive-through this morning to get the French toast sticks. The staff is very friendly my order was correct and the food was delicious. I will definitely make the trip there more often to get those French toast sticks and try some other things on the menu. read more

I had good, fast, friendly service. I didn't have any problems the food was good and hot. The establishment was clean and inviting. And it served it's purpose. They did leave out my sauce and mispronounced my name but I'm not too upset since we were inside. But I went back up and got it and they gave it with a smile. So all in all it was ok:) read more

This Wendy's is literally so terrible. You walk in there and every single person ignores you for like 5 minutes. Doesn't even bother to tell me one second please or anything just stares and purposely walks in the opposite direction. Almost everything from there gets messed up. Wow what a change! The management must have been listening because they sure turned this place around. The host at the drive up "Colleen" was great tonight! She spoke clearly and was very nice to talk to. So was the young lady at the pick-up window. Outstanding service tonight, considering the drive up line was out to the street. They kept it moving and were happy doing it. My triple was fresh and they even gave me napkins! That's the way I remember this place being in the past! Keep up the good work guys!! Worst Wendy's ever. I've been going here since it opened. It's always been my favorite fast food. Now the fries are not cooked all the way, sandwiches aren't made right, and they can't get your order right to save your life, and if they short you food? You just lost your money cause they won't refund you, they want to send you a coupon that doesn't even cover what they ripped you off. Management doesn't care. I love Wendy's and usually this Wendy's does a pretty good job but lately it's just been bad service every visit. Either the girl at drive thru is very rude and snippy or they get your order wrong. Came through at about 11pm. Not only was one of my spicy chicken nuggets missing, but the order I did receive was hard as a rock. They were so old that there was no moisture in the chicken or the breading. Lately the quality of the food hasn't been up to their "standards". Needs new crew members and new management to lead these crew members. read more

I was very disappointed. I went through the drive thru and ordered a large chili with onions, a side salad no dressing and 3 plain hamburger patties and a small Frosty. When they wanted to charge me 4.29 per party I had them take those off. Love my pooches but not that much. So I got no crackers or spoon with the chili and no straw or spoon with the Frosty. I placed my order and asked for all the food to be fresh. The manager took the order and told the staff that I wanted the order fresh. This other manager says to her all the food is fresh and seconds later my food is there which means nothing was made the way I had asked. I took one bite of nuggets and they were cold - the fries were warm at best and the burger was cold. I took the nuggets back and they were made FINALLY the way I had asked. Used dirty men's restroom when I arrived and told staff the soap dispenser was not working, and finished meal used it again before leaving and still no soap, question is; how are the employees washing their hands! I have never had a worse experience at any other fast food joint than today. First off, I'm fairly easy to please since I'm normally just looking for something simple. In the end, I got what I wanted, but I think it's a darn shame that I had to go to the Wendy's in Crown Point TWICE and waste a half an hour to get the correct meal! The waiter was not the friendliest, and I felt I was being hurried up to order when there was no reason to be pushed on. When I got the order and drove back home, I saw that they messed up the toppings on my sandwiches, so I went back and expected to have a little mercy for the trouble. NOPE! The manager was just as indifferent to me as the person who took my order was. I got the new sandwiches and they kept the old ones (probably to throw away when I could easily give the food to a friend). I didn't receive any compensation for my time and gas wasted to receive my order the way it was placed originally. read more

They have always been my go to bite to grab on the go since they have a lots of healthy tasty options with good service. Lately, I haven't had anywhere near a good experience there. If it's not for the beyond rude employees who can't even say a simple "hello" or "thank you" someone's forgetting something. Two times in a row they forgot nearly half my order, my next visit I sat at the speaker for a good 5-10 minutes where no one took my order and I left in frustration. It was only around 11 at that time on a Tuesday. After those visits it's just been completely rude service. After tonight, I think won't be coming back until management does something about this. I've been coming to this Wendy's since 1998. The service has always been stellar, on a few occasions I even told the workers at the drive thru I thought they were awesome, they thanked me and I thanked them. It's sad to report this Wendy's is sliding down hill, way down. The service is slowing to a crawl, the cashiers have trouble counting coins to the point I have to tell them what to give me back. On one occurrence the cashier shorted me 5 dollars,shut the window real fast and walked away, so there I am waving my arm until some other worker seen me, opened the window and straightened things out. This place is obviously under new management and it's not what it used to be. The drive up monitor where you place your order was covered with some sort of sticky gum obscuring my view of the total price of my order. It's been like that for two months at least. I did phone the manager and she did clean it but should a customer have to do this? Tonight I sat in the drive thru for nearly 30 minutes, when I pulled away I decided this was my last visit. read more
