Sometimes you have a good experience and somtimes you get a bad experience, especially when you're trying something new,i follow a lot of people on YouTube who do food reviews and I'm telling you, run, run, do not get the new chicken strips they're nasty and do not get their baked potato and it didn't even do it right! Because half was rotten shame on you Wendy's,and they don't understand English,they only speaks Spanish. WTF! Always get ur food cook fresh,especially after i saw them put the old French fries back in the hot oil.That's hella nasty. I have been coming to this Wendy's for 20+ years. Never really had issues, besides the people working there having horrible attitudes. Tonite my husband went to get us food through the drive through because I am pregnant and was craving it. He came home and found that they did not give us the extra things we paid for... okay we let it go because it was 1.00$. But then I looked down and pulled out a straight.black-ish brown. Hair. Sigh Against my better judgment, I stopped by Wendy's in Daly City and ordered the Krabby Patty meal. It was, dare I say it, pretty good. The patty was flavorful, and the fries were just crispy enough. But of course, I already know where this is going... straight to my thighs. The staff was competent enough, the service was quick, and the place was shockingly clean--though I doubt anyone but me even noticed. If I'm forced to endure fast food, I guess Wendy's is tolerable. Specifically came for the Krabby Patty Kollab that debuted today in partnership with Spongebob's 25th anniversary. Walked in and ordered at a kiosk. Food took about 10 minutes due to a number of delivery orders. Krabby Patty Kollab Burger - 1/4 pound beef, two slices American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, "top-secret Krabby Kollab sauce". Tasted like a regular Wendy's burger. There was barely any secret sauce on my burger so I didn't really taste it. Tried it on it's own and its similar to a thousand island. Unimpressed by the presentation and innovation. Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty - vanilla frosty with pineapple mango swirls. Actually pretty good. Thick. Fruit swirls flavors could have been a bit more prominent. Overall, this collab between Wendy's and SpongeBob was unimpressive. For such a huge pop cultural reference and special anniversary celebration, nothing particularly felt special. read more

I purchased a Double Krabby Patty meal, medium, with a Pineapple Under the Sea shake. What I got was a small fries, 4 nuggets, a small chili & a pineapple shake. I called Wendy's immediately when I got home to advise of the mistake. No one answered besides a voicemail, which I gave my receipt number, the cashier's name, the time stamp on the receipt. No one ever called me back, & I had surgery 2 days later & was unable to make it all the way back down there. If you have a voicemail - USE IT! Wendy's , I have always been welcomed by the staff, the ordering is simple, and the chain has a decent Reward program. That's said, though I like the Frosty the burgers are lacking at a comparable price point when compared to In-N-Out. I had been craving a Bacon Burger so my pick was the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger. Sadly the beef patty lacked any grilled texture, and the burger was tightly wrapped resulting in a bun that became steamed. So I'd say not the worst burger I've ever had, but I'd pass on Wendy's if you have a better Burger joint in your area. read more

Not sure what kind of company culture Wendy's have...but my most recent experience here was absolutely terrible. Fast Food is like an indulgence for me and I love getting a good burger and fries now and then. I don't expect the most outstanding customer service either, because....it's fast food. But definitely expect good manners and common courtesy. I ordered a burger, fries and chili yesterday - the fries looked really oily, was half warm and cold and definitely an indicator it's been hanging out. Since I checked my order, I kindly asked the cashier lady if they can remake it for me. Her comment was, "OMG" with a side of eye roll lol. Okay...a simple yes or no would suffice, but she threw in some attitude which was definitely uncalled for. She said something to the cook in Spanish, who then also said something with attitude in Spanish while looking at the fries. He apparently "made" it fresh, but just picked up another small bag of french fries that was sitting under the heat lamp and handed it to me. I took a look at it, saw a teaspoon of oil drip from the bottom and was totally grossed out. I turned around and tossed it into the trash, where it belong. Sometimes when the food quality is bad, it's whatever, but having poor customer service and a repulsive attitude is not okay. This happened 11/29 ordered my food drive thru as I was at the window paying already. The work was on the side inside sneezing around my food. Didn't want to start a fight so sent a message to customer service. Still no response from management. Also they could have made I food over all the employees just looked at me like who cares. I felt so bloated after eating Wendy's but isn't that at any fast food restaurant you eat at? In the moment it tasted so good. My boyfriend brought me home Wendy's after work. The Baconator was stacked with meat, cheese, and bacon. He also added onion strings to the burger. The fries were a tad soggy but I personally like it like that. I loved dipping the fries into my Vanilla Frosty. By using the Wendy's app you can get cool deals so my boyfriend was also able to get us some free chicken nuggets. The chili tasted great on its own but I add their chili hot sauce to give it more of a kick along with sour cream and crackers to give it that extra creaminess and texture. read more

Long way to go. I was really hoping to grab a chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich but missed the cut off time by 15 mins. This is after waiting five mins in line for someone to acknowledge people were at the counter. The guy in front of me was just stun as me wondering if we were going to get help. And I would have sneaked off if I wasn't sure how much noise I was going to make. The floor was sticky like in the old days in movie theaters. It was a sad experience compared to the last Wendy's I went to in Pearl City. I did get a double baconator which I enjoyed but the fries lacked salt. Bacon makes everything taste good. My kids enjoyed the meal (I did as well as I stole some fries and a nugget). Well ... what can I say other than using the Drive-Thru is your single best option when visiting here. I can't really recommend eating inside the restaurant as there were no napkins available even though I was told they were available. It's actually better to go through the Drive-Thru and eat in your car in the ample parking lot. I highly recommend ordering food through the app for a good reason and a not-so-good one: The good reason is that you get points toward bonus food, and the not-so good reason is that you minimize interacting with the staff which is usually a fluctuating experience (from good to bad). :-/ A nice trick to eating here is to order right around the time breakfast switches to lunch. That way you can order their AMAZING breakfast fries instead of their regular ones. read more

We ordered from them through UberEats today after the storm. Our food arrived pretty quickly and it's still warm and crispy but couple of things are wrong or missing. They forgot to add sweetener and lemon to my iced tea, the sour cream and butter for my baked potato, and they gave my boyfriend bacon and cheese fries instead of the bacon and cheese baked potato he had ordered. Other than that it was alright, everything is just what you would expect from Wendy's. The pretzel bun I upgraded to for my son of baconator turns out to be unnecessary, you can't really tell the difference between that and the normal bun. The baked potato is kinda bland, I added a lot of salt and pepper to it. The new ghost pepper ranch sauce is NOT SPICY AT ALL. I'm so disappointed. I loved Wendys and this was the only location near me. Ordered through their Wendys app and they forgot items in my order. I complained on their website and a manager called me to get it fixed. I told her to just make it up the next time I ordered and she said it was fine. I called in another day when I ordered from them and talked to her to add an item to this order for the previous mistake which she did... but when I took a sip of the drink it tasted like the syrup in the machine wasn't right because my coke zero tasted just like carbonated soda water.. I brought this to the managers attention and she just dismissed it saying that it wasn't their fault and that there was nothing she can do. The burger is absolutely amazing. A lot better than McD and BK. It is unbeatable if you ordered via mobile app which the burger only costs $1. The frosty is good. Nothing unexpected. The quality is good. Maybe I should buy a $2 frosty key ring instead of buying a medium frosty next time. For the garlic fries, which is the reason why rate this place 4/5 instead of 5/5. OMG, you guys, I have to tell you about the absolute worst experience EVER at Wendy's. It was so disgusting, I'm still having nightmares about it. Buckle up, because this is going to be gross. First of all, I ordered a chicken sandwich, and guess what? It was RAW. Like, pink and slimy raw. I thought I was going to puke right there. Then, I got a burger with NO BUN. Seriously, who serves a burger with no bun? It was just a sad, lonely piece of meat. The fries were next. They weren't even warm. They were FROZEN, like they just took them out of the freezer and dumped them in my bag. But the worst part was the Frosty. I was so excited for it, but when I took a big spoonful, there was a ROACH LEG in it! I nearly died. As if that wasn't bad enough, the place was filthy. A rat ran across my flip-flop and disappeared under the oven. I dropped a frozen fry on the floor, and a bunch of roaches started walking around it in circles, like they were doing some creepy ritual or something. I was totally freaking out. I ran to the bathroom, hoping to escape the horror, but it was even worse. I stepped in poop as soon as I opened the door. The bathroom was flooded and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in YEARS. The toilets and urinals were clogged with, you guessed it, more poop. And the toilet seats were smeared with it too. It was so disgusting. Then I noticed the urinal fresheners. They had bite marks on them! Who does that?! The sink was full of poop too. I couldn't even understand how the employees washed their hands in that mess. I peeked over the counter to see where they were making my food, and it was a total nightmare. There was a dirty, wet mop drying over the French fry heat lamp. And I saw this lady by the fryer. She put her hand in her pants, pulled it out with poop on her fingers, and started putting fries in the fryer. The grossest part was when she turned around. There was an extra-large fry hanging out of her waistband with brown stuff on it. I couldn't believe my eyes. So yeah, this was the WORST experience ever. If you care about your life, your stomach, and not puking everywhere, stay FAR AWAY from this Wendy's. It's like a horror movie, but worse. read more
