OMG, you guys, I have to tell you about the absolute worst experience EVER at Wendy's. It was so disgusting, I'm still having nightmares about it. Buckle up, because this is going to be gross. First of all, I ordered a chicken sandwich, and guess what? It was RAW. Like, pink and slimy raw. I thought I was going to puke right there. Then, I got a burger with NO BUN. Seriously, who serves a burger with no bun? It was just a sad, lonely piece of meat. The fries were next. They weren't even warm. They were FROZEN, like they just took them out of the freezer and dumped them in my bag. But the worst part was the Frosty. I was so excited for it, but when I took a big spoonful, there was a ROACH LEG in it! I nearly died. As if that wasn't bad enough, the place was filthy. A rat ran across my flip-flop and disappeared under the oven. I dropped a frozen fry on the floor, and a bunch of roaches started walking around it in circles, like they were doing some creepy ritual or something. I was totally freaking out. I ran to the bathroom, hoping to escape the horror, but it was even worse. I stepped in poop as soon as I opened the door. The bathroom was flooded and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in YEARS. The toilets and urinals were clogged with, you guessed it, more poop. And the toilet seats were smeared with it too. It was so disgusting. Then I noticed the urinal fresheners. They had bite marks on them! Who does that?! The sink was full of poop too. I couldn't even understand how the employees washed their hands in that mess. I peeked over the counter to see where they were making my food, and it was a total nightmare. There was a dirty, wet mop drying over the French fry heat lamp. And I saw this lady by the fryer. She put her hand in her pants, pulled it out with poop on her fingers, and started putting fries in the fryer. The grossest part was when she turned around. There was an extra-large fry hanging out of her waistband with brown stuff on it. I couldn't believe my eyes. So yeah, this was the WORST experience ever. If you care about your life, your stomach, and not puking everywhere, stay FAR AWAY from this Wendy's. It's like a horror movie, but worse. read more

I made a mobile order to make it a little bit more convenient for myself. I tell them I'm picking up a mobile order at the speaker. They told me that the order isn't ready and to come back to the drive-thru window. So I circle around and now there are five cars ahead of me. If you don't want to do mobile orders then take it out of your system. Then people will go somewhere else. This place sucks. read more

September 4th , 2024 I went to Wendy's 9:45pm with my husband and daughter to get food, but this lady in the drive through was so rude and helpless. When I was ordering she seems she was in a hurry asking us many time "anything also" even though we told her to gave us a minute bacause my daughter was deciding what to get, then when we got to the window we asked her in a nicely manner if we could cancel a fries to get something else, and she said NO, and then my husband asked her for ranch sauce and she gave it to him and shot the window hard, she didn't even offer ketchup, or said hi or thank you. If someone is going to work in customer service, a least they need to be respectful and helpful. Never going back there. read more

I do not identify as a fast food eater but cravings exist, and, as a mere human, at times I succumb. I hit the drive thru one evening and was greeted at the ordering menu with a professional female voice. Shoutout to my strong working women and the powerful women everywhere. She took my order promptly, which I appreciated, but at the time I hesitated on the beverage. She had me pull over to the side where I waited less than two minutes for my food to be prepared, and it was in these two minutes I made up my mind to add a drink, which though a small addition could still be considered inconsiderate in a way all after the fact feel me. She came to my car with my food, and as I asked to add a bev, she expressed attentiveness and was ready to serve me as opposed to sighing or groaning in response to an additional request. Just moments later, I received my large lemonade. Thank you Wendy's Daly City for the prompt service. I do not understand why people leave reviews on fast food spots lol like what are you expecting ? Food is fine - service is good too. I use the drive thru once a month and place our family order. I always ask for extra ketchup. They will give you ONE extra packet at a time and usually stop around 4 ketchups. I place the same order every time with 2 LARGE FRIES. That's makes for only 2 ketchups per LARGE FRY. I bought an avocado chicken salad, and everything seemed fine went home and I opened it. Began moving the chicken and the bacon out of the salad, because I like to mix the veggies and sauce first. As I was pulling the bacon i noticed it had hair on it. A long thin black hair (my hair is super short), then I check the other bacon and there was another hair, then I found a thin small black hair in the salad which couldn't be mine because my hair is very thick. After seeing the hairs I threw it away didn't eat dinner. Was pretty ticked afterwards, but to be honest this the second time I had hair and the 2nd time I ever ordered a salad from Wendy's. I'm batting 2 for 2 so far with my salads. I guess I came back because Im a big fan of avocados. Won't make that mistake again for the next time it is only chipotle or Panera for me. I'm done with these types of joints. Quality is not there. Would like to note my experience. At this particular location each time I drive up they always seem to be having fun and joking around. Maybe they are laughing at me or messing with me, but I have to say Wendy's Daly City is a joke. It should be shut down or turned it into a chic-fil-a. I ordered again last night thru grubhub. I've noticed they''re introducing more healthy sides like fresh fruit (chopped apple chunks or strawberries) rather than just fries or other fried items (egg rolls, onion rings, etc). I've tasted authentic gourmet burgers at other expensive places, but half the pleasure of dining at wendy's is for your $9 to $11 is that big juicy authentic beef burger AND a side AND a drink. At other places, you only get the burger. The sides are waaay more expensive if you wanted to add them. You can also customize your burger for additional beef patties, veggies, cheese, a better bun, etc. PRO-tip: Order the frosty-ccino in the Combo and buy a separate small or junior frosty ice cream (chocolate or vanilla). Mix the frosty with the frosty-ccino and you've got yourself an almost Starbucks Frappuccino for the cost of the Burger Combo and a $2 frosty :-) LOL Just a milkshake alone at Jack in the Box for a regular costs $5 and over $7 for a large. read more

Service here is quick for tasty fast-food at a value. The bacon cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, the fries, the chili, the sour cream & chive baked potato, the frosty, etc. are my standard. The easy to find locale and spacious interior makes it my go to Wendy's. However, the same muzak on repeat gets to you after awhile. read more

This is the only Wendy's close by to where my boyfriend lives so we love to come here. Usually we always find parking and the staff is very nice and helpful the place is pretty clean and I've never had any real issues with my food or the service. The food is always hot and made to order and I really appreciate it. I would have given this pace a 5 star but the bacon I got on my bacon burger was burnt, like black burned. The employees cut corners and short customers on their orders. They use stale buns, give less nuggets than customers pay for, and even half the bacon that should be on the Baconator. There trying to artificially inflate the profit they make by stealing it from customers. They never answer the phone when you try to call about the mistakes they make. I just ordered food from you all. Spicy chicken sandwich, large fries, and six piece chicken nuggets from this location and was very disappointed in how you all sent my food out the door. I can tell you don't take pride in your delivery orders or you would handle them much better. But instead. I set in my lobby and watched how the delivery guy had my bag balled up in his hand. Please consider doing things the way other restaurants do and that is place the the food in two bags and seal both bags. I am so disgusted and was too afraid to eat the food. Wendy's is not my go-to fast food restaurant, but it still is a pretty good place to go and grab a quick bite. One of my favorite order is the 4 for four deal. I also like chicken nuggets in Wendy's. The four for four sales, in my opinion, is worth it because you get a hamburger, chicken nuggets, fries, and a drink. It's a little spicy but not too much. I live kind of close to a Wendy's that's why it's convenient for me to go to Wendy's and grab a quick bite. Wendy's inside is pretty simple compared to most other fast-food restaurants like McDonald's and Burger King. Although Wendy's doesn't have a playground for kids, I still enjoy how it's simple but yet roomy for the customers to dine in. They keep the restaurant clean and organized, and you can always find the things you need easily without walking all over the place. If you want to grab a quick bite, I recommend Wendy's for sure. read more

Short summary: Wendy's truck driver blockings the only one way street back home, and refuse to move for his own convenience and ego. Wendy's! Please educate your truck driver to NOT BLOCK THE ROAD. Especially when you have a huge lot for your truck! This is not a review on the food, but its been bothering me so much I really want to call it out. Long story: Exactly two Friday's ago, I was heading home through the one way street. This street is the only way to get home through all the apartments along the block. Half way through, the Wendy's truck blocked the way and I waited patiently for 1 minute. No one came or moved, so I started honking. The truck driver walked out and didn't seem to care. I rolled down my window and told him you are blocking my only one way street back home. The truck driver told me to back up, and I explained again that this is my only way home (ONE WAY STREET) don't get how that is so hard to understand. He then tried to start opening the truck to unload. I stopped him because I didn't know how long it would take, and why should I wait because he wanted to block the public road? I then told him to just loop around so I can go home. He said no, back up. I was starting to get upset and said no. He then crossed his arms and leaned against the truck and said "well I'm not going to loop around just for that, and your the one that honked at me" trying to be all proud about acting like a child. This dude is a grown man child, blocking public road when there is a huge ass parking space along the road and in the Wendy's parking lot, being all proud of using company truck to block the road to stroke his little ego. I started to yell at him at this point because all I wanted to do was get home, it was 9PM, I have been out all day, tired and sweaty. Other Wendy's workers started to come out and see what was going on. They were all speaking spanish and laughing. Pretty sure the man child truck driver was telling them how I was being unreasonable for not backing up. I started to dial Enforcement Division for traffic control, and the guy finally gets scared and tells me that there is a tiny back ally that I can go across from Wendy's that will get me back to the one way street after his truck. He tried to play it off and said that he tried to tell me that earlier but all he said was back up because it was an inconvenience to loop around. Also how am I suppose to know of this hidden ally way. I was hesitant that he was lying but since I was desperate to just get home, I can confirm he was telling the truth about the ally way. This guy should not be allowed to block the public 1 way road for HIS convenience. I'm sure he later told all his buddies about how annoying and unreasonable I was so I will likely never go back because of this one truck driver. Real shame because Wendy's burgers and nuggets are my #1 compare to other fast food. It is cheap, convenient to my place, and always satisfy my cravings. The drive through Wendy's workers are always super friendly and this review is in no way representing them. However, it just takes one bad egg to ruin it.
