This is update from the previous reviews. This location has been gradually improving and today I had the best experience so far. Staff was friendly, and the food was fresh and made to order. I haven't been to a Wendy's in YEARS but the frosty is still good, the nuggets were so much bigger than they used to be and just felt like the food was better quality and portion than their competitors. Order delivery in Louisville, Kentucky and again they went with instacart. 2 items were missing and when I went to get my refund, they transferred me to instacart even though my order was placed with Wendy's..then everyone refused to give my tax back...just gave me a $5 gift card to try to keep me happy. Didn't work, it is illegal to keep tax on a return..wonder how much these companies are making keeping tax on refunds. read more

Wow We went through the drive thru They said all their diet pop was sour but regular pop was fine to order. I'm not sure what that means and we should have taken that as a sign to leave. They had us pull forward so they could cook us "fresh food". Yes they said fresh food. We waited 10 min and when the food was delivered it was cold and old tasting. Thats all well and good but the fact that it took ten minutes is unacceptable. Highway 24, Fort Wayne, IN, location. Whenever I tried to use this location, the service is very slow. I went inside to order, and the computer was not working correctly. The server tried to get help, but the manager just looked at her like she was stupid. There was no help, no apology from the manager, and no food was ordered. I walked out. The server was apologetic, but it was not her fault. The manager should have stepped up and helped her out. Customer service is everything. I would have waited and ordered if the manager was kind and apologetic. This is not the first time it happened at this location, but it will be the last time I go there. read more

I hate to start a conversation off like this but Wendy's sucks! I am hoping it's just my location. The one I use is at 521 N. Line St. in Columbia city IN 46725. I placed a mobile order today at 3:30 PM. The app came back and said my order name is "JB Mobile". No one is in line at the drive-through and there were only about four cars in the entire parking lot. I get up to the place where you order and the first thing I noticed, yet again, is that the speaker absolutely stinks. They can't hear me and I can't hear them. I tell them I have a mobile order for "JB Mobile" and they said they have no order for "JB Mobile" and asked me my first name. I tell them Jim and they say they have no mobile order for Jim. I come to find out that they were not intelligent enough to associate Jim with James and for some reason the order was under James not "JB Mobile. Then I pull up to the pick-up window and am immediately told to pull over and wait. No cars in the parking lot, no line at the drive-through and I am told to pull over for an indefinite wait. I canceled the order (again). This happened a week ago closer to dinnertime and I asked what the wait time was. I was told indefinite because they had a big Door-dash order that took precedence. If you can't handle Door-Dash and the drive-through at the same time then close one or the other but don't pull people over for an indefinite wait in the parking lot. This keeps happening at this particular Wendy's. Overpriced, small portioned food that they expect you to wait indefinitely for. No thank you. It isn't where's the beef it is where's the service. I love Wendy's....it's my favorite fast food place, however this is the worst Wendy's I've been to. Almost every time I go there my order is wrong. Tonight I paid for Avocado on my chicken sandwich, didn't receive it. With my meal I did receive some nice cold fries though. I worked fast food, I get fries aren't always fresh but throw them in the fryer for a minute and warm them up. Last time my husband and I went we ordered, and then had to walk them through our order. They would try and hand it to us and they only had our sandwiches when we ordered a full meal. Then they gave us drinks. And then finally gave us our fries. It was insane. Maybe they were training a new person, but the whole staff acted like they had no idea what was going on. We live in Roanoke, but I work in Fort Wayne. I would rather drive from Fort Wayne to Huntington to get Wendy's than order from this Wendy's. One experience we sat in the drive through for at least 5 minutes once and they didn't tell us they were closed. Drove up to the window like the 3 cars in front of us did thinking they would help us up there. Nope, they looked at us and continued to stand around talking instead of saying they were closed. Online hours said they were open til 1 am next time I went I asked the manager about it and was told they close at 11. Thanks for letting everyone in line know that. read more

Basic Wendy's here. Wasn't the friendly of staff but they got my food right and it was semi fresh so no complaints.

I don't usually review fast food places but I need to for this one. It's after volleyball practice and my daughters hungry so we pull into the Wendy's on the way home. When I get up to the speaker someone says across the speaker please wait! This is not in a nice way either. She comes back and takes my order and when asked if I wanted to order anything else I said yes and she sighed! She sighed like she hated her job and I was inconveniencing her. I go up to the window and she hands me my drinks and it's not in the most nicest way then takes my card. I overhear her say to the people behind me please wait I have a huge order in front of me. You know I forgot to order my husband's frosty and I wasn't going to ask her to add it on for I knew it was too much for her to handle. I just feel this needs to be addressed. If she doesn't want to work there get her out of there. I don't know who's managing this place or if even she's the manager then someone needs to call the GM. This behavior was totally inappropriate and uncalled for. She made that car behind me wait because I ordered three number one Dave's single meals in one Asiago chicken sandwich. My order for a fast food place was not huge. When I pulled out to leave there were a total of four cars waiting because she never took the order of the first car. I don't know if I'll adjust this review I'm really pissed right now. It gets a two because the hamburgers and chicken sandwiches were warm and I feel blessed she didn't spit in my food. read more

This is by far the worse Wendy's in the city of Fort Wayne, IN. Please don't go at night it looks like you might get robbed or murdered the parking lot has little to no lighting. Giant pot holes that can swallow a vehicle. It doesn't matter what you order the employees decide what they are going to give you. This really frustrating cause I do enjoy a good double cheeseburger and this place over and over disappoints me every time I visit. And it's only this location. The employees are somewhat friendly although I would be to if I was smoking on the job all day. Often they are playing trap music so loud you can't hear anything. I really don't understand how this place stays open it's nothing like the commercials with Reggie Miller or Reggie Bush. I would like to visit one like that one day. Nothing pisses me off more than a long days work and then getting f'ed over in the drive-thru by some kid who decided it would be funny to f@$? With my order. Please for the love of god I hope corporate sees this, this must change now and I demand a change. As a life long Wendy's customer this really is disappointing. This was the worst dining experience I have had in quite a while. I received my order quickly, however, the fries were cold. I asked for hot fries and the cashier said he would remake everything & call me when ready (why could he not bring them out to me instead??) This added another 5 minutes to my wait. The drink station was a mess! Used lids, napkins, spilled drink and the one ice machine was not working! The young man (cashier) was behind the counter on his phone! A customer came in and the other worker had to tell him to get off his phone to wait on the customer. I overheard other customers complaining about the service as well. The service of the other two behind the counter was no better. When I asked if they had a card to contact the owner/manager, she said no, she didn't think so. Terrible customer service. I came through the drive-through, she barely even looked at me let alone said a word to me before she grabbed my credit card without repeating to me what my total was. Ran my credit card, handed it back to me and totally ignored me the whole time. I sat there and waited for a receipt. I had to call for her again (The window was left open) to ask for a receipt when she looked at me like I was an idiot and told me I would get it at the next window. I had a cheeseburger no bun, and they didn't put the mayonnaise or ketchup on it. If you want Wendy's with good customer service take the extra few miles and go to the one in New Haven. They do a fantastic job and are always polite! I ordered the same thing every time I go, and they always put the mayonnaise and catch up in a little to go cup for me on the side. This is my favorite Wendy's in town. I only get a half hour for lunch so time and patience is in short supply. They always push people through the drive thru very quickly and are very pleasant to deal with. The manager is great. She really knows how to manage their drive thru process and lead her team. I really like Wendy's food except the fries. This location is really fast during the day. But sometimes too fast. They have messed up 3 out of last 5 times. Either missing items or incorrect topping. A couple times holding the bag out the window before I even get to it. I understand speed but I will not be leaving the window anymore because it is a hassle to come back or get a replacement. If I could give a negative number I would. I ordered two Spivey chicken sandwiches, lg fry and lg drink. They ring them up separately which costs more rather than as a combo and another sandwich. The guy at the register says it's too complicated to change. I tell the person at the window to get someone that can fix the order and get him off the register. I go to leave and have to drive around because they forgot the fries. On the way home I m thinking I should check the order as, of course it's wrong. I asked for onions and pickles only. I get lettuce tomato pickle onion and mayonnaise which I am allergic to so I wasted 15 bucks. Absolute morons. I'll never go there again. Never had Wendy's screw up that bad before.
