Hours say 10pm, pull up to the window at 9:50 and they say they are closed. Lazy and unprofessional.

Came by at around 7pm on a weeknight to find the doors locked. The hours say it should be open until 10pm. Through the windows we could see five employees sitting around doing nothing, just shooting the breeze, and one person in the kitchen doing all the cooking AND manning the drive thru by his self. Location. (5/5). Relatively easy access from I-64. Also, very convenient for those who have appointments at the UVA Imaging Center in Zions Crossroads. Ordering/counter staff. (5/5). It obviously depends on who is working the line, but we had a very friendly and efficient woman to take our order. Food. (Husband: 4/5; me: 2/5). My husband ordered the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger (Single) Combo, which came with fries and a fountain drink for $10.59, before taxes. He enjoyed the meal, but missed having fresh lettuce/tomatoes on the burger. I ordered the Junior Bacon Cheeseburger "Biggie Bag", which included the burger, chicken nuggets, fries, and a fountain drink for only $5. My lower rating is primarily due to the quality of the two meat items. The cheeseburger was served with lettuce and tomato (that's good), and I had been warned that they were out of mayonnaise and onions which are usually on the burger. Unfortunately, the lettuce and tomatoes were the best part of the sandwich. The burger was served cold, and the bun tasted stale. The nuggets were over-cooked, and also served cold. Fries were fresh and tasty. Finally, the soda machine was out of some of the flavors, including my favorite, Diet Dr. Pepper. Ambiance. (3/5). Two issues -- the self-service soda machine was leaking water. Staff had set up a fan to dry the area, but it was still slippery. Staff were also slow to wipe down tables. Value. (2/5). In theory, my $5 Biggie Bag should have been a deal but, given its quality, my husband's $10-plus meal was the better value because the food tasted better. read more

Possibly the worst ran restaurant I've ever been to. Just as others have stated, this place is constantly out of almost everything on the menu, the fryer is always down or the lobby is closed even during posted business hours. I have called the customer service number to let them know about this location and that was just a joke. It was obviously some overseas call center that just gives scripted apologies while not doing anything. How the hell is thes place still open with months and years of the same complaints. When I worked for Wendy's in the early 80's, I was proud to put out out fresh food. We visited this location yesterday evening and I will not go back. I've known for years that Wendy's as a whole no longer serves burgers hot and juicy (how can they be when they're obviously cooked in the morning) and now I know why they automatically put cheese on them: so maybe you won't notice you're eating a hockey puck. My boyfriend was looking forward to hot fries, but was sadly disappointed. The cashier wasn't paying attention, so part of our order was wrong, and then she argued that I was wrong. This Wendy's location is... just awful. I did my best to come here 4 times before placing a review. Each time the order was incorrect, the folks here consistently misplace the sauces, they do not know the difference between regular nuggets and spicy nuggets. The service each time has been slow (you could have been through a chic fila drive through 3 times in a row before you get your food here!). To top it off, the drive through is broken my last two visits. The burgers are sweaty and greasy, fries are undercooked with no salt. Good luck using the coke freestyle machine as it's out of most flavors and they do not stock lids or straws. The service has been "we are short handed" excuse. The only thing missing from my complaints is the place is not on fire. Dave Thomas would be rolling in his grave at this place. Slow, slow, drive thru. Orders are usually misfilled. Today, order unsweetened tea, got sweet. No straws or napkins included. No sour cream included. Hamburgers must have been premade, crushed and also cold. Seems like poor training for new hires. Today, June 12 2021, they do not have their dining room open yet. read more

This is the worst Wendy's ever. No greeting at drive thru. Sit in line with only three cars for almost a half hour. I don't understand how this place is still open!!! Do the managers not care? Does the corporation not care that this place is ruining them?? Unbelievable that this location passes franchise standards. It appeared to be fully staffed, but behind the counter was utter confusion. Various staff would just randomly switch from preparing food and orders to manning the register and then just disappear. And there were no napkins, even behind the counter for orders. I see in previous comments that this is a regular issue. How does this pass health standards, since there were no towels in the washroom either. And even assuming some corporate supply issue, how hard is it to send someone to Costco to get some? And judging by the taste of the fries no fresh oil. read more

We usually don't go here at all because the wait is horrendous. But my Mom really wanted a cheeseburger. After waiting what seemed like an eternity in line we finally made it to the speaker box to order....where we proceeded to wait another 30 minutes just for someone to take our order. Upon reaching the window, you guessed it, we had to wait again for someone to come to the window to take our payment and give us our food. We were greeted by a really shady guy who wasn't even wearing a Wendy's uniform (tattoos, snapback hat) who proceeded to say "fuck yeah man I like your ink" while handing me the drinks. We waited probably another 10 to 15 minutes for two plain Jr. Cheeseburgers. When the guy handed us the bag he leaned out the window and told us to come see him again. The burgers were drier than hell and we didn't even finish them and the drinks were watered down. The lobby is never open and sometimes you wait in the drive thru line just to find out they aren't even open. Save your money and go to one of the other fast food places around zions crossroads. Taco Bell is always fast and friendly and the food is always hot and fresh. This Wendy's is garbage. read more

Restaurants should not be allowed to have signs on the interstate if their lobby is not open. This is the 4th or 5th Wendy's in the last 6 months I've had this problem with. This location is losing $ left and right. Stopped to get food. I watch someone open the door to let some people in. Drive thru packed so I park and a few other cars do the same. We go to the door and it's locked. The people that previously got inside must've gotten tired of waiting inside so they went out the door on the other side. Nobody would come and let my group in. So we all left. Just pissing away money at this location. Solid business model. Heading to Burger King. read more

Drive In window is slower than molasses. There always seems to be at least 3 staff in the drive up space. One is learning, one is teaching and the other uniformed person maybe a cheerleader?Food is good. Staff very friendly read more

The last three times I have visited this establishment there have been problems. The first one was related to my order being incorrect, the second was attitude by the staff, and now tonight they have closed there lobby so I can't even go in to place an order for carry out. This location is the worst one in America!! And they need to open their doors so paying customers can complain without waiting in the very long car lines again. This has got to be the worst Wendys I have ever had the displeasure to visit. There were 3 customers in front of me and it took over 15 min to just order. One girl wandered around like she was in a daze, one stood by the fries and fiddled with a bag, and the others were pretty non-energetic as well. It took over 10 minutes to get our food. These employees need to find another line of work. Four customers got tired of waiting & walked out. After waiting over 25 min, they got the order wrong. They gave us 6 chicken sandwiches, and we did not order chicken. When the mgr got involved and showed the girl our order, the burger and fries were cold, so had to wait longer while they re-cooked. I ordered a chocolate frosty cookie sundae which was not what I was given. The teller had no idea what I was even ordering even though it's on the menu. I was given a vanilla frosty cookie sundae which didn't even have cookies on it just crumbs of what was probably a cookie sold to someone else. The ratio of crumbs and chocolate syrup was sad. Id recommend Wendy headquarters to check this place out and teach them how to make the sundae the correct way. read more

This locations dining room is closed at this time, so it was understandable that the drive thru line was a little long. For the vehicle in front of us, the gentleman working the drive thru repeated the order to the customer, gave them their total and asked them to pull forward. However when we pulled up to the speaker, after each item we ordered there was a dead silence and we had to ask if he was still there. We could hear other employees in the back ground and this guy laughing. He didn't repeat anything back just simply said a total. When we pulled around there were other people that had been in the drive thru ahead of us, back in the line that was now wrapped around the building, I'm guessing because their orders were incorrect. The guy hands us a drink that we didn't order (a sweet tea...and we ordered 3 sprites and a powerade) and when we told him that we didn't order that he looked at us like he had no idea what we were talking about. He came back a few minutes later, with a sprite. Then handed us our bags. I was too worried with double checking the food that when my husband pulled away, I didn't realize that we didn't get the other 3 drinks we ordered. The drive thru line was pretty much at a stand still so we decided not to bother and just went to Sheetz to grab the kids their drinks. The food was terrible. I ate a quarter of my burger and just a couple fries. My 2 year old ate half a chicken nugget and handed me the carton and said he wanted a taco. Yes it was lunch time, yes the lobby is closed but that is no excuse for extremely poor customer service. Amazingly the food order was correct so that's about all I can give credit for. $30 completely wasted because we ended up throwing out all the food, it was that bad. We were just passing through, so I'm not sure if this is the norm for this particular location, but if so, management needs to step up. The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because it won't allow me to give Zero, and for the fact that our food was correct despite it being inconsumable. read more

Literally the slowest drive thru I have ever seen at any fast food restaurant anywhere, every single time. I first thought it must just be a busy day and they were short-staffed. Nope. Every single time I have come here, we have waited 30+ minutes in a drive thru line with only about 5-7 cars ahead of us. Normally the only thing we come here for is a frosty for my son, and it's usually half melted from sitting on the counter so long. If you go inside, the line is back to the entrance door.
