I had a chance to try Flo steak and lobster dinner and it was delicious at Long Horn Steakhouse.

Had to wait on silverware that I returned twice because it was still dirty. our food came out and my strawberry pecan chicken grilled salad arrived with my chicken undercooked. seemed my waitress was more concerned on hurrying to clean up so she could get off work. I get better service at the steaknshake down the road. won't be wasting my money there again. Didn't even get a thank you come again from any staff as we were leaving. Horrible service!! read more

Not only was the place packed, the smell coming from the grill was enough to entice one inside from the parking lot! They were super busy and shorthanded on service staff, but our waitress was fabulous despite running like a track star! Our spinach appetizer was piping hot and creamy. My friend and I used curbside service. There was a mix-up and my friend had to go in and ask for the to go order--more confusion and the meal was late. The strawberry pecan salad was delicious, the ranch dressing was excellent and the broccoli was outstanding. The presentation was not. Lettuce was closed up in the lid, the salad looked thrown in--and the grilled chicken breast added was a lot smaller than expected. Having said all that, the food was very delicious and I would go back. I might not try curbside again, but I'd try it once more on the inside dining because I really enjoyed the salad. read more

I had the 10oz salmon, corn on the cob, sweet potato. I was prepare just right nice and flaky and the bourbon sauce was great as was the seasoned rice. We were passing through on our way to Greensboro. We didn't want to venture too far from our hotel as it was later in the evening. We settled on Longhorn since we have eaten here before and had a good experience. Brittany was our server and she was great! Paced our meal out, was attentive and friendly. We were told the manager would be out to speak to us and she never stopped by the table, despite being right beside us as we were paying our bill, which originally was still charging us for the Mac and cheese that took at least 20 minutes to replace. We used curbside pickup and it was flawless. Ordering via the phone was quick and simple; it was ready at the time we requested; delivered to our car a few minutes after we pulled in. We both had a 6 Oz. Flo's Filet and they were cooked exactly as requested. All the sides were good, especially the roasted Brussels sprouts. I did not like the asparagus it was hard and very thick I prefer roasted I will get potato or street corn next time. My wife got chicken tenders and baked potatoe and she loved it. I've been here a few times, and always had good experiences. This time I got the spinach artichoke dip, which is delicious. There is not much spinach in it, which is probably why I like it so much. It comes with pita chips, which pair excellently with the dip. I got the sirloin and shrimp combo. The shrimp weren't my favorite, I'd probably go with a better cut of steak next time. I order my steaks medium, and they typically come out medium well here. I should try ordering medium rare next time. They are seasoned very well. The corn on the cob was interesting. The first time we went the food was good and fresh and our waitress was extremely nice. We went 5-30-24, really disappointed. We ordered sweet iced tea, it was served watered down and it wasn't sweet. We told the waitress and she brought us new tea that was good. I opened my napkin because I always wipe my utensils before I place my napkin in my lap and the knife was filthy with caked on dried food on it, that in itself was enough to turn your stomach. When the waitress came back we told her and she replaced it, but the damage had been done. The manager never came over to speak with us...he was too busy leaning on a large booth in the back corner talking with the hostess. Our food was served but it was mediocre. I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I sat at the bar where my server/bartender Kathy greeted me with a big smile. It was clean as soon as I walked in and I didn't even have to wait. I got my favorite beverage which is the spring water. I ate the salmon and the Brussel sprouts. The sprouts are to die for! Overall it was an amazing experience. The manager came out to make sure everything was right. He was a Very well mannered, professional gentleman. I will definitely be back to this Longhorn! read more

I called ahead to be placed on waiting list and was told about 30-40 minutes. When I went inside I was told there were 11 parties ahead of me. It took about 50 minutes but it was certainly worth the wait. Fast service and an attentive server. Before I could eat half of my delicious salad, our meals arrived. The steaks were perfectly cooked and my loaded baked potato was fabulous. They have stopped putting so many spices on the steaks when they cook them. There was a problem was with the gift credit card and we were charged $15 more than the receipt showed. It turned out to be the gift card that did it, but the restaurant should have known the procedure. It took 3 days, but was resolved. Food was okay. The first thing I want to say is the food was really great. I'm not a big meat eater but I ate half the 6oz filet and that never happens. The issue I have with our experience is the service. The server may have been doing her best and I know it's crazy right now with the pandemic. However, when I am paying Longhorn prices my expectations are high. When I spoke to the manager about the situation I got half an ear and a discount. The manager didn't take it seriously and the server approached me to apologize (I guess but it was more of a confrontation) and then when I was explaining the issue she walks away while I'm speaking. You're servers and expediters need to learn not to hand children glasses and plates. They are heavy, slippery, and possibly hot. This is dangerous!! This behavior is absolutely uncalled for. I have been in food/ customer service for 25 years. I prided myself on my customer service skills. I don't know what has happened to service but there is almost none anywhere anymore. I was so excited to try LongHorn since they just came to Barboursville. With the lovely presentation and steak selection (at a steakhouse, mind you), I thought nothing could go wrong. I was sorely mistaken. My mother and I both ordered 6 oz. sirloins. She got a side of broccoli and rice pilaf. I got a baked potato and a side salad. The salad and broccoli were WONDERFUL. The steaks and the baked potato and rice pilaf, however, tasted as though someone rolled them in salt and slapped them down on the plate. the steak was so salty it literally burnt my tongue. Mom's steak was ordered medium rare. Her first steak was well and the second was medium well. My first steak was cooked perfectly (but way too effing salty), and my second cut was nothing but gristle. Moral of the story: don't eat here. If a steakhouse doesn't know how to cook their namesake food, it's shit. One pro: our waiter, Cody, was amazing and apologetic. He worked to make things right. my son and I went on April 1st in grandville w va My son ordered Coke zero and I ordered Coke Well, the waitress gave my son a regular Coke and we asked her about it and she laughed and said she must've mixed them up. I usually enjoy this restaurant. However, on Sunday the visit started out well. We were seated and our orders were taken promptly. The issue began when my dining companion received his food and I received my salad and a plate of french fries, but no burger. I waited 20 minutes before the server asked if we had our food, and I mentioned I had not received my burger. Her response was, oh. She pased the table several times and told me it would be right up. Twenty minutes later I received my burger. By that time my dining companion had finished his meal. Longhorn is now off my list of restaurants to visit. read more

We were excited to try this new addition to the Huntington Steak scene. There whole mini loaves of bread were good but not exceptional. Skimpy on the butter. There onion petals didn't impress us at all. They forgot the bacon on a bacon cheeseburger... when they brought it, it was way undercooked for the cheeseburger ordered "well". The steak ordered "medium" was rarer than ours ordered "medium rare". The server struggled valiantly and adequately to accommodate our party of 4 adults and 1 busy girl and one infant. She was good about keeping our drinks full and fresh. A big plus for me. The "Cowboy " ribeye my wife and I split was excellent!! Their steak knives are heavy and exceptional. An object of lust for a knife lover like me I was hoping for a "WOW" $80 meal and got an ok, good meal.
