Service was fine enough. Food was acceptable. Rolls are great. BUT!!!... the whole restaurant had a hint of sewage smell to it. Then, they sit us near the bathroom, and it is the strongest smell of sewer. It ruined the appetite. As you can see, I'm a full grown man, and ate about half of my half rack of ribs. And i went in starving and would have had no issues finishing it. I would NOT recommend eating here until the sewage smell is fixed. read more

Wow this place is very dirty.. The floor all over are gross. The bathrooms are filthy like a gas station bathroom or worse and that was the woman's. I thought If the bathroom was in such disgusting shape, how bad does the kitchen look. The table was dirty and very sticky. The food was Okay. The waitress was nice and helpful. I really think this location at Barboursville, WV needs closed to deep clean and update broken items. I won't be back until I hear that it has been done. read more

Terrible location. Our server was fantastic, but everything else was not. We ordered 5 drinks. Our drinks arrived after our food arrived. The sides were not warm at all and tasted like it was made the day before. The only discount we had was the drink that we no longer wanted got taken off the tab and was still offered to us. Only for it to not be the correct drink we ordered. I ate here once and absolutely loved it, ate here the second time and I would never recommend someone eating at this location. Save yourself the time and money and go eat somewhere else. Astonishing how drinks take longer to pour than food being cooked and eaten. read more

Rolls delicious. Wednesday is pie for free day, heck yeah!! Plank salmon is extra tasty, prepared perfectly and came with two sides of your choice. The salads are fresh and crisp, with minimal toppings. They have delicious chicken tenders. They have delicious white fish, cod and catfish. Cherry pie was flaky and just the right amount of tartness. Carmel pie was creamy with a topping of chocolate chips and nuts. Lemon pie was creamy tartness with a fluffy meringue. We eat at O'Charley's quite frequently. We drive up from Huntington to stop in and get great service from Ashley in the bar area. She's attentive and personable. She often jokes with Tom and I, and we enjoy the food and the banter. Last night, she remembered that I like my steak "medium" and I want extra butter and sour cream for my baked potato. Occasionally when we have an alcoholic drink, she mixes them well, and she can also pull a pretty good beer from the tap. Make the drive, sit in the bar area, and ask for Ashley! read more

The dining area is pretty much nasty. The last few times I've been there the seats and tables where dirty. And if you dare to look under or beside the booth seats you will find what looks like years of food and dust. Is I sat there dissatisfied about my dirty table I started to look around the rest of the dining area. And almost every flat surface you can see has a bunch of dust and food stains. The food was decent but if the part you can see is this dirty I wonder what the parts you can't see look like. ( Kitchen ) !! Place used to be nice but it has really went down hill over the last year or so. If management reads this walk in there and look around for your self. Maybe I'll try this place again in a year or so. The restaurant is clean and the staff is attentive. The salad was good. The baked potato was good. Drink refills were prompt. The steak was not so good. I ordered a medium steak and received a medium-well steak. I could live with a medium-well steak, but it so too salty. How salty? It was inedible. I ordered pickup for my parents and the workers were very unprofessional. They didn't know where the order was and asked "is this yours?" And it wasn't and then said "well there's one on the bar you can go see if that's yours" and didn't help any further. It was weird and rude. The food wasn't right either. This was my third time in here and a bad experience each time. The food comes out cold the wait is Ridiculous

The experience here was bad from start to finish. We requested a booth but they said they'd have to clean a booth if we wanted it and we said that was okay but they proceeded to tell us that they couldn't give us a booth. We were then seated at a 6 person table when there were only 3 of us making a bigger family have to wait on a table. Next our waiter, Matt, was extremely rude. As we were waiting on food he picks up the tip from a table nearby and exclaimed "christ!" Loud enough for everyone to hear it. He only became nice when he was giving us our receipt. Then when we said we didn't need boxes he said "are you sure?" And we said we didn't need it and he said "awful wasteful children." read more

O'Charley's was a pleasant surprise for my husband and me. We came in after a long, stressful day, and the place was really clean, the food very frugally priced and the wait staff was very friendly. The food was good and ample. It turns out Wednesday night is free pie night (with the purchase of an entree). Who knew?! We were too full to eat our pie slices, so they sent them home with us. We came in to waiting area at 4:20 and seated at 4:50, since we saw the menu already, we ordered right away. But, not much of full restaurant make us waited forever. Finally got 3 out of 4 drinks after 15 minutes waited. We still have 4 hours of driving to home left, so our patience ran out quickly, it took 45 minutes to get 4th drink. We waited another 10 minutes but nothing was happening. I've called the manager if we can leave, then our appetizer finally came.. We sat down in our booth and they plopped the warmest, butteriest, most fantastic rolls down in front of us and I bet we broke a record for fastest roll consumption. I was pleasantly surprised by O'Charleys! We were traveling and ended up here on a Sunday afternoon because it was the closest restaurant when we decided we couldn't go any further. The place was busy for 3pm, but we were seated right away and the hostess was very nice. Between mouthfuls of rolls we ordered salmon and chicken tenders. The wait seemed a little long, but luckily they refilled the rolls often. I would have given five stars but my husbands side of sweet potato mash was disappointing-seemed canned and was sugary. We are sweet potato snobs, just cook em n mash em! My side of mac'n cheese was also a let down. It was blah and dry. The chicken and salmon were cooked perfectly and the fresh broccoli was great!! We will definitely be back, and hopefully get to try the pie! read more

Went here with a friend for lunch and I don't have one good thing to say about my meal. I ordered the bottomless salad and soup combo. I got tomato basil which was the soup of the day and my friend got the potato soup. My soup was room temperature and her soup was lukewarm! We asked the server for hot soup, he returned with two new cups expecting an improvement only to get lukewarm soup. Then the salad which was lettuce, cheese and croutons only. The server said the produce truck hadn't come yet and they were out of cucumbers but no mention of basically a lettuce salad. Normally the hot rolls are good and they were dry and tasteless. I have previously had good meals here but paying $6.99 for a horrible meal means I won't be back anytime soon because there too many decent restaurant choices in the area. read more

We decided to give O'Charleys a try as we have never been before. The service was good. Apps came out really fast which leads me to believe they were microwaved/reheated but still they were good. Food came quickly as well, everything was good and the portions were huge. A lot of our food was a little over seasoned but it wasn't bad enough to send it back. I wasn't aware they did a kids eat free until we got there but we were charged for our kids meals so I am not sure if there are restrictions or not? They are off the kids menu and we were still charged. I didn't make a fuss about it because as I said, I didn't know they offered free kids meals so I was planning to buy their meals anyway. read more

There was a wait, so we sat at the bar. Carrie took excellent care of us. Everything came out in a timely manner, the catfish was prepared perfectly, and Carrie was courteous and attentive. It has potential to be good, but the inconsistencies are keeping it from getting there. The first time we are there, soon after it opened, it was great. For the first couple of years it was good, then something happened, I think I was told they got a new chef. It has been consistently inconsistent. My wife and I had eaten here 3-4 times before and it was excellent. But the last time we ate here, they seated us and no one came to our table after 15-20 min went by. Ironically every server passed by us since we were right next to the kitchen. They weren't even busy - less than 1/3 full. So we got up and left and were treated 100% better at Logan's.
